I was recommended to IDS and I am really satisfied. I took both written and skills test here. The prices are great in my opinion. They have a big sign with different packages for different needs. I was able to get a walk in written test and it was easy to make an appointment for the skills test. I used a school car for my skills test which was very nice, clean and the rental price was reasonable. Cielo the front desk staff is very kind, helpful and speaks spanish too. The gentleman that gave me both test has a very calming presence and is very polite. For my skills test he told me to relax and think of it as a regular drive. I would really recommend coming here. read more

We signed our son up for the teen driving class and we all had a great experience. Communication was easy and consistent and everything went smoothly. Our son learned a lot and was able to take the state written and driving tests there so we didn't have to go elsewhere. It was helpful to take the tests in a more comfortable environment. Highly recommend the in-person class. read more

I took and passed my written and drivers in the same day, in less then 3 weeks I had my license in my wallet

International Driving School is a professional, reliable and well ran driving school. Mr. Warga and all their staff are organized and communicated clearly. They have very patient and calm driving instructors. We were referred to them by family friends who had three teens go through their school and were very happy. Thank you for the experience keep up the great work! read more

The instructions were very informative, and the examiner was really nice during the test as well. Just make sure to drive carefully and slowly to the speed limit. read more

This place definitely needs some improvement. First time I went to take a test, the place was close. The hours stated in the website to do the written test does not match the hours of operation. Secondly, the receptionist is highly unprofessional. She has a fat attitude. She either give a loud sigh or a huff over every little task she does. It is clear that she don't want to work there. She also has poor customer service. She ignored the only person there and I had to ask her for assistance when I came into the office. But when another gentleman arrived after me, she acknowledged him and service him. Thirdly is the time. Even though I came 30 minutes early to do my drive test, the instructor made me wait. Even though the previous person came to take their test came in late (arrived after me). I assume there was only one instructor. The instructor is definitely their to fail you and get your money. He gives little preparation or a talk through over the test. The only thing I remember from him was basically a "you failed." I even paid extra to use their crappy car. The first thing he told me was get in and use my hand signals. He didn't even make sured if I knew how to brake or gas properly. I retook the test at I 5 the next and pass the test. read more

Needs to work on communication, they do not answer emails, text messages or calls. This has happened to me multiple times and if it wasn't for the fact that I already payed I would go elsewhere to learn how to drive. read more

Went in there to ask for info about testing as I was in the area. Went to the front desk and the receptionist looked at me as if I was in the wrong place. Confused, I ask if this where testing takes place and was told an answer that was very rushed and under her breath. I stood there confused. She then picks up the phone and then shakes her head when I ask her if she knew where I could find reading to help for the test. I straight say that she wasn't very helpful and wait for her get off the phone. When she was done I had her repeat the info she rushed earlier and learn about the correct hours for coming in. I had to ask her supervisor for info on where to find the book for testing over the phone. The attitude from the receptionist was completely unacceptable and inappropriate. I'd rather drive to a different location to get testing for my kiddo. She needs a crash course in customer service as this visit wasn't helpful at all. Zero stars for first impression. read more

This place deserves 0 stars. My husband spent his valuable time and money here, and the instructor/receptionist was RUDE. He kept rushing my husband during the ENTIRE test (English isn't his 1st language, which we told the instructor), which caused my husband to stress and fail. The instructor/receptionist promised to give him more time for his 2nd attempt, but that was a LIE. When my husband was taking his second exam, the man kept asking him, "Are you done yet? You need to finish." (This started just 10-20 minutes after my husband sat down and started writing. I have never seen such horrible customer service. If you don't want to be treated like you're stupid or don't know the information, then you're welcome to come here. Otherwise, I recommend avoiding this company (Renton location, too)!!!!! read more

Great Driving School, I Would Definently Recommend For New Drivers. Pros: Teachers Are Very Helpful Slideshows Are Pre Made Therefore Class Flows Well Teachers Actually Try To Get To Know You Instructors Are Ready For Appointments 10/10 There Are 3 Different Cars That You Can Test Drive In. Most Students Are Friendly Not Good But Not Bad: Overall Cost Is About $500 Including Knowledge Test And Skills Test. Cons: Some Students Don't Take The Class Seriously Many Students Are Reminded Constantly To Stay Quiet In The Beginning The Setup Of The Class Is Quite Odd Few Concepts Weren't Explained In Great Detail, But Were Explained To Make Sure If You Were Paying Attention You'd Understand Still Overall: I Loved The School, I Passed All My Tests And Drives. All The Instructors Were Kind And Friendly. As Long As You Pay Attention And Stick To Your Appointments, Then It's Practically A Guaranteed Pass. read more

I have to say this was one of the easiest and smoothest things I've had to do. I showed up early at 9am, and the guy let me take the written test before even he fully opened his location. Next the driving test, I called on Monday and he got me literally with in the next hour. It was an awesome experience. Thanks! read more

Everyone here is very nice, but professional. I thought I knew everything for driving but just wanted to make sure before I took the test. The instructor gave me some great tips that I didn't even think about. They do courses for teens and adults. They also do both driving tests here. I highly recommend this place. :) read more

While I'm happy that this business is still going during COVID they really need to work on there communication. I have had communication problems with them twice. Both times I had emailed texted and called them and didn't get a response until I started calling them every day. They never reply to emails texts or missed calls. Please work on that. read more

Only reason why I rated 4 Just a fair warning if you're planning on paying through PayPal for any of the physical driving exams, CALL THEM AFTER YOU PAY AND SCHEDULE YOUR TEST!!! This information is not posted on their website so unfortunately when I paid for my exam I was under the impression I could just walk in and take the test any time a Proctor was there to give the exam. I came in on a Saturday around 1:30pm, and after I checked in was told that because I didnt call to schedule my exam after paying for it through PayPal, it was unlikely that I was going to be able to test that day due to the schedule being so full.. They were able to squeeze me in thanks to a last minute no show but they were so willing to go the extra mile for me they told me that if everyone on the schedule made their appointment they would be able to have me test at the very end of the day!!! they didn't have to do that for me!! they could have easily told me I was SOL and asked me to come back when I actually schedule my exam... Anyway, The exam was a breeze and the proctor was super friendly and calmed any nerves I had right away, he was also very pafient and reassuring when it came to mistakes or corrections on the road.. I passed, btw. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid and accommodating testing location with great staff read more

We had a very frustrating experience for teen driver's education here. The worst part was not being able to make an appointment for my child to take the knowledge test. We showed up on 3 different occasions and called first to make sure they would be open only to find that they were closed even though it was still their listed business hours. When I called about making appointments I was told it wasn't necessary and just show up when we are open. Once when we came we were told not today we are busy, and the other two they were closed due to "emergency funeral" they forgot about. To make things worse all three times I rushed to get off work and get my child there before they closed. Another thing that I found frustrating was that they wouldn't let us set up appointments ahead of time for drive tests. They called the week of and let you know your time. It got so difficult to schedule that my child actually had to miss school to go on drives to accommodate their schedule! I find that ridiculous since they are catering to high school students. They should be set up to better serve students. There were issues with them misplacing receipts and I was asked to sign the same receipts for them on several occasions. It might not sound like a big deal but it is when I have toddlers and have to haul them in there to sign the same papers. Their parent meeting room is extremely small and a fire hazard to hold mandatory meetings with parents and their children. If I could do things over I would never choose this place. read more
