After troubleshooting a shaking issue, Whitford Hills Auto found that my tires were out of balance, the front end needed an alignment, and most importantly, the front tires (65K miles) had extreme cupping which exposed parts of the tire core (see picture). They balanced and rotated the tires to verify that was causing the shaking. In the end I decided to get all new tires, this was recommended but not pushed on me. All 4 tires were installed, balanced, and aligned. My wheels and the rest of my truck was washed free of charge AND they did not charge me for the work that was completed prior to installing the new tires. I am very happy with the service performed and my truck now rides smooth! Thank you Whitford Hills Auto!

It was a last minute…read moredecision bc my normal dealership couldn't fit me for a week and I had a growing leak in one of the tires that needed to be fixed. It also helped bc it was really close and I wasn't sure if I could make a longer drive with the way my tire was losing air... Anyhow, my first impression when calling for the appointment was the friendliness of the owner, Matt. He scheduled me for the following day without any hesitation. Once arriving, I explained I've had some really shitty car repair service in the past (getting charged for work never completed, etc) and asked if I could actually see the patch on the snow tire bf mounting my regular tires. Again, without any hesitation he said, "absolutely." Then (I realize this was a very lucky timing issue), while waiting for my car he popped in and explained he just ordered pizza for his guys and asked if I'd like a slice (?!?). That was pretty thoughtful... And yes, I accepted. Sadly, much to my dismay, not only couldn't the tire be repaired due to where the nail was lodged, it was discovered that my other rear tire had 3 nails in it! I had to trash both tires; However, he provided a complimentary car wash (which was amazing since my Volvo no longer looked black but yellow from all the pollen!) and honestly made such a great impression on me, I know that I will be back! He explained they do pretty much everything the dealerships do. So unless it's a specific issue only Volvo can do, he'll be having my business... I genuinely liked him. He really seems to want to make the customer happy and was great to work with overall! It's SO hard to find an auto place where you feel like you can trust the service you're getting. I feel like I may have found my guy! Def recommend...

A typical call between Rick and I goes something like "Blah blah blah car stuff and information I should probably know about" and I say, "okay whatever is best!". That is the type of interaction where I could get scammed to an insane extent but Rick always has my back. I've dropped by car off many times when there was an engine light on or I just did not feel comfortable driving it, and it is typically repaired within the same day (and if not, within 2 days MAX). My boyfriend who worked as a mechanic eventually ran the numbers and said that Rick does really good work and is very honest and prices it reasonably. Through out the years, I've gotten the starter replaced, frequent oil changes, and my inspection. There has NEVER been an issue with Rick or his work.  As someone who could really only tell the difference between an SUV and sedan and poured coolant in my power steering the one time I tried to work on my own car (which shows how inexperienced I am and trust me, I've tried learning. Cars don't work well with my brain), Rick has always provided the absolute best work. I am located in Philadelphia at the moment, and I still will drive to Rick's just so I can support the business and go to someone I trust. I highly recommend!
