This is them withdrawing me for refusing to take their lame ass online course during a PANDEMIC! DO NOT waste your time or money!

So i got a call about 3 months ago from one of the main chairs from the school, honestly did not get to remember her name but well pretty much just called to ask about why i felt the way i did about the school and what they can do better, for a second she had me and she told me she would do her best to make it up to me, Said i would receive an email within 24hrs and here we are 3 months later and have not heard anything since. So once again just proving how unprofessional they can really be I don't mean to troll this place but like i told her it is unacceptable to do this to people and get away with it. I gave her plenty of time before considering updating this review and never heard from here since. Oh and of course i still have the beautiful debt i have to pay!! Its all a big joke i really hope people don't keep falling for this place its very disappointing!

The new Riverside campus looks great and has been updated to specialize in the electrical training program labs for students. The instructors Ricardo B. and Jose A. teach the students a fully accredited electrical curriculum for graduates to work in the electrical field with their E T card. The campus also offers the Alcohol and Drug Counseling studies program (certificate) and will receive their RADT certificate (Registered Alcohol Drug Technician) the credentialing needed to become CADC-1 (Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor). InterCoast Colleges provides occupational degrees and certificate programs to prepare students to meet employer expectations for training-related employment. InterCoast promotes a student-centered, culturally diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environment for its students. InterCoast Colleges is not only an excellent school to attend but an excellent school for employment with many career opportunities.

Luke and his team are incredibly professional instructors who are truly dedicated to bringing out the best in each student. Ladies, if you're feeling a bit intimidated or worried that you'll be treated differently, don't be. The only thing you really need to survive AFA is a sense of humor (that goes for the guys too) I remember sitting in college, debating whether it was the right path for me or if I should take the leap and pursue a trade. I'm beyond glad I did. I have absolutely no regrets about attending AFA. Ralph, Ronnie, Doc, and Kyle not only taught me during my time there, but they continue to teach and support me even after graduation. Whether I need extra practice or advice, before an interview or for a weld test their doors are always open. Luke, Robert, Marcio, and Gus have also been incredibly supportive and instrumental in helping me grow in my welding career. Never in a million years did I think I'd find myself in aerospace, but here I am and I couldn't have done it without the amazing team at AFA. And of course, shoutout to the wonderful ladies in the office, they are always a delight to talk to and often the highlight of my day. Whatever I needed, they were there to help. P.S. Sorry it took me so long to leave a review... I've been busy working at the jobs you guys helped me get!

This school changed my life in the best ways. I came straight out of high school with an interest…read morein welding and fabrication, but no hands-on experience. From day one, the American Fabrication Academy taught me the foundational skills I needed to enter this trade and gave me lifelong mentors I now consider family. Before attending AFA, my only work experience was babysitting. After graduating in March, it took a little time, but by May I had job offers from SpaceX and Anduril Industries at just 19 years old. I'm beyond grateful for how much this school helped me during and even after the program. If you're looking for a trade school that truly cares about your future not just your tuition this is the place. The staff here go above and beyond to set you up for success, and that support doesn't end when you graduate. I want to give a special thank you to all the instructors who were a part of my journey: Luke, Marcio, Kyle, Ronnie, Doc, and David, Robert, as well as Gus, the recruiter, and Silvia at the front desk. Each of them played a role in my growth. They're not only incredibly knowledgeable, but they also know how to keep things fun always joking around, but dead serious when it comes to teaching you the craft and work ethic this industry demands. In my opinion, AFA is the top trade school in California. To this day, I'm still learning from the advice and lessons they gave me things I never got from traditional high school or anyone for that matter. Forever grateful for the family I made at AFA. Thank you for everything. -Christine class #39
