They always asked if I was okay and they asked if I needed any help and if I did need help and when I needed help They were there to give me that help and assistance that I needed. So i got a call about 3 months ago from one of the main chairs from the school, honestly did not get to remember her name but well pretty much just called to ask about why i felt the way i did about the school and what they can do better, for a second she had me and she told me she would do her best to make it up to me, Said i would receive an email within 24hrs and here we are 3 months later and have not heard anything since. So once again just proving how unprofessional they can really be I don't mean to troll this place but like i told her it is unacceptable to do this to people and get away with it. I gave her plenty of time before considering updating this review and never heard from here since. Oh and of course i still have the beautiful debt i have to pay!! I have to say one thing, I think you get exactly what you want from this school....teachers are awesome and want to help...but we as students have to help ourselves. This school has awesome placement. I never hear students say, they were not able to get a job. I've been gifted enough to watch student after student leave this school with a job.. I started the AOD program Oct 2014 and went on to get my Associates also through Intercoast. I had a great experience with my instructor Jose Ochoa and Joe Aragon. The whole experience has been great. I have been in the field since I attended school there and im really grateful to them for their guidance and teachings. Marylin and Katie were a huge part of my experience enrolling. I recently past couple years have had to contact corporate for financial purposes. They have been amazing. Intercoast College Riverside Campus has changed my life forever. I graduated from the electrical program last November, and started working right away. The program offers students hands on training every other day. Mr. Barrow, the instructor has a unique way of teaching. All of the staff goes out of their way to help you out. Ever since the new campus president Giery Mijangos took over last year, the school has improved drastically. Its been 8 months I've been in the Electrical program. Nice instructors, very knowledgeable. Helpful if they have time. Meaning - We need more Instructors. There are many times we will be waiting for the instructor for 2 or more hours to get power to your project and couple of days waited the entire shift without getting any help due to the sheer number of students and ONLY one instructor attending. The Lab is Over Crowded. We start our class at 7:45 and the Instructor starts at 8:00. Go figure that out. Talking about the Lab, the materials are outdated, broken and very few. Per Instructors advise, we went and spoke to the Director and he asked us to give a list of materials that we need. That was given to our Instructor about a month ago. So far we have not seen the new materials/supplies. Every day in the toilet we don't have either toilet paper or paper towels or soap or none of the above. On reporting the matter to Kathie, we were told to inform the director of the college. This is the only establishment I know of that we have to approach the Director for Janitorial needs. I am sure this college has well over a hundred students & staff and I seriously doubt if there is any Janitorial service. Other than that, its a nice place. Popcorn is still Free every Thursday. read more

I am currently a student here about to graduate from the electrical training program. This place is a joke. Nothing is ever organized. They advertise solar training but you'll be lucky to get the book let alone an actual course. I brought this issue up with the electrical program director and his answer was "you can always come back after you graduate and take refresher courses ". Please! This school is a joke. If I could give them no stars I would. I went here back in 2013 and it was the worst decision of my life. I attended what was a campus in El Cajon, but then they closed the school. They offered to either let us stay or that they would have someone come in and teach. Well I decided I would stay and finish I only had a few weeks left. It was terrible the lady had an associates in sycology, and she was hired to teach Business Office Administration how can this be possible. She tried so hard but her lack of knowledge was ridiculous. Now I am in Washington now and applied for an Assistant position, well they ran my record and turns our Intercoast Colleges does not show up. I was so embarrassed, I am left with paying more that $13,000 for something that didn't even exist. I do not know how the government allows this type of stablishments to be open. They are a scam. Definitely better to go to a community College and invest your time and money in an institution that can be proud of but most of all that would be really accredited read more

I started attending the school back in 2016 when it was still a great school. I left for medical purposes and I went back in 2017. The new ADC teacher was a good teacher. Aside from the fact that he sexually harassed me. Some may see it as simple compliments, but when I have a teacher meeting me at my car and putting his arms around me and walking me to class and telling me that I'm his girlfriend it's sexual harassment. I've always been a great student. When I reported to the school that I was being sexually harassed they tried to get me to sign a paper saying that it was impossible to decide whether or not it was true. When I refused and demanded to get a deeper investigation, they concluded their investigation saying that they had found no proof. When the teacher found out that I was having him investigated, my grades suddenly drop then I left school on leave of absence for the investigation and had to fight my way back in. That was when I was forced to go online when I didn't want to. I'm no longer a student of the school because they put me in a classroom without my consent and billed me for a class that I never agreed to take. I recommend the school to nobody. The CEO, Geeta Brown, pretends that she's there for you, but she's not. She's only there to protect her faculty. They tried to lie and say that the student said that I was always a destruction to the classroom. It's funny that they say that when I've always been an a student. Things just don't add up when you look at the things that they say. Do not allow yourself to get drawn into this bubble of insanity that the school is. Not to mention that I'm still fighting to try to get the money back that they were paid for classes that I didn't take, but I'm still having to pay back student loans on. Not to mention the fact that the computers never work in the lab the printers are always broken. The bathrooms are always broken and never clean. We spend our good money whether it's loan money or actual out of our pocket money to attend to school that supposed to be nice and comfortable, but instead we get low budget garbage. They have no textbooks. Half the time the printouts that they give you you can't even see because they're printers on ink and they don't want to buy more. This place is ok the instructors are helpful, staff is awesome, but we need supplies. There are not enough parts for the ETP class and way too many students in one lab. There aren't enough tools to go around for the ATP class. The lab setups are not very realistic or applicable either. We need to practice real life applications of the field we are studying. Also some of the material is locked away from students and we aren't allowed to get that material unless supervised which is ridiculous. I dont know what the other classes are like but the ETP class needs some improvement as far as parts, materials and space. read more

Intercoast College has a family like atmosphere and everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. I really like the diversity of the programs and students. The staff treat each other with respect and you can feel the positive vibe when you walk down the halls. I understand that alot of people complain on Yelp so I wanted to share the good things about this College with everyone. If you want to start training for a career check out this school. I recently graduated from that school. I'm an army vet. Had nothing but problems with financial aid. Some teachers from other programs there didn't even acknowledge some of the students there. Very unorganized, this school is just about your money. They started a fitness program there and once I started there was nothing setup, we had to use someone's else's class room until the room for us was finished. It took almost four months until we ended up in our class room, and the room wasn't even finished. The only thing they did right was hire an awesome instructor, other than that it was a nightmare.
