I've seen mostly local or regional comedians, but there was one show were the comedians were from Los Angeles area. There is a full bar, so plenty of drink options, and the staff has been great, too. I feel like they want to add to the fun their guests have. The venue feels intimate, but it is a decent sized spot and great for groups, dates, or fun with friends. There are very few comedy-only venues, and this is one if them, so be sure to support local comedy!

My date and I (she had been here a few times previously) were sat right up front and we had many good laughs. The team running the show were all very polite and kind, from wait staff to those checking us in and getting us to our seats. A family friendly show, it still allowed for plenty of adult humor (but not inappropriate). The comedians they have working are very quick on their feet, which in improv obviously helps, but you can genuinely tell that they enjoy what they do. The "ref" was a great host, and even the two hanging out in the sound booth had some great sound effects and music throughout, as well as keeping score. At the end I thought it was neat to get a 'high five' on the way out. Overall, great time. I'll definitely be back.

I too, have always been interested in this concept though the results were a mixed bag. Check in was a bit of a cluster as there were two tables next to each other, but no signs and that resulted in people shuffling back and forth because there was nothing to guide us. Once we got in the right line, we were asked to come up with a name for ourselves for the evening. Wish we had known this in advance so we could have been more creative. We then were checked in and given tickets for our food choices. There was a color-coding system that almost everyone forgot as soon as they found their table and wish they would have just labeled the damn things, "pork," or "chicken." Speaking of pork, the food overall was just okay. My apple pork was pretty good but I didn't care for the green beans. The salad was pretty good, as were the rolls. The cheesecake dessert was pretty pedestrian, likely Sara Lee or the like. After you were seated, the "host," Sue came in to lay the ground rules. I think much of my dissatisfaction stemmed from her and the two police office actors who were just a bit over the top for my tastes. Sue did not have the qualities of a good host, in my opinion. She was efficient and knew her stuff, but wasn't charming or gracious. I found her a bit grating, unfortunately. I am sure she's a lovely person she just didn't set the scene for me. I also didn't like the "interactive" portions of the event where we were encouraged to mingle with the other participants to see who was "suspicious." For those more introverted folks, this was not great. Given all that, kudos to the rest of the acting staff for injecting some fun and mystery to this event!

We were very excited for a night out to dress up and have fun downtown. Before the show, we had a couple of drinks at the Hyatt lobby bar while we discussed our undercover names for the evening. It was time to gather for the show & we walked in & we were seated in the conference room. It was not really decorated to set the mood, theme, or ambiance for the evening. There was just a little time to mingle to get to know each other people/tables & their stories or cover up. The actors were pretty entertaining, but not dressed as I thought they would be in dinner show. They were pretty casual & barely any props. There was also a lot of reading for clues, which turned me off. We weren't provided the wifi at the beginning & we had to download all these articles to read as detectives. I wanted it to be more interactive, entertaining, and exciting, but it just wasn't. The chicken was rubbery & the food was just ok. My vegetarian friend had the pasta, which was very delicious. The service was professional & prompt. I won't spoil the outcome, but I was not really stumped! For $77 a ticket, per person, plus $25 to park per car, I was expecting so much more.

I did miss that in addition to our ticket price that there was a 2 item minimum but there were super reasonable items so I didn't mind. It's a smaller venue and there was only one wait person but she hussled hard and was very attentive. Show was great. Would definitely go again.

I was so pleasantly surprised, the stage is not huge but it's perfect for the space, the seating is well put together, no bad views. They have snacks, drinks and alcohol available. Now onto the show, we saw Wirligig of Time. The script was excellent, I loved the plot and the characters. The actors were great. We went opening night, so nerves may have been high but everyone did a wonderful job. Well worth it!

I noticed Kathy Griffin was performing at the Pabst Theater so I knew I had to check this theater…read moreout. The theater is in a great location within walking distance to many of the hotels. Upon entering the theater, small bags and purses were checked then the usher checked our tickets. The historical theater's lobby is ornate. There's a small lounge on the side of the main entry. This area is defiantly additional holding area. The cleaned washrooms are located on the ground floor. The ushers were friendly to show us to our seats which was located in front of the red skirt. The theater is compact with great views of the stage. Overall, I thought this theater was great and I would return for another show.

Seeing the oldest active police band in the country at their annual concert at Pabst Theatre was a lovely experience. The staff is nice and attentive. Next time I'll have to stop by at its bar. Tip: We dined at "Mediterranean Cuisine", which is close to the theatre, and it was fantastic!
