Jillian has elevated hydrocolon therapy to an art form. Isn't that a hoot? I experienced a…read moreRADICALLY superior colonic at Balneotherapies as compared to recent experiences with other hydrocolon therapists in Franklin and Nashville. One newbie to industry used higher pressure (among other missteps) after which I had a "colonoscopy prep" experience. I was surprised by how very gentle the process was under Jillian's care. Pleasant, even? (Well, yes. I will refrain from further comment upon unpleasantries elsewhere.) I had already found her expansive knowledge impressive prior to my first visit. She utilizes holistic healing modalities in tandem with hydrotherapy and includes the highest quality products available to restore balance. (At my request I was permitted to muscle-test her products to determine what would best suit my needs as I am reactive to many supplements.) I returned for a BARS session and then another colonic and will rely upon her expertise to coax my body toward healing after an upcoming surgery. Highly recommend you make this investment to facilitate well-being. (You don't know what you don't know.)

My energy has increased and my anxiety has decreased. My husband has also done ear candling with her and raved about the results and relief it brought him. Not only that, but she is so knowledgeable about what supplements to take and their sourcing. As well as assisting with guided parasite cleanses (which are a must do!) Clearly I cannot say enough good things!

Mandy knew her stuff. With confidence she worked out my hip which has been giving me issues for a year and seemed to be flaring up in new manifestations recently. She was more vocal during the massage than most, but for the results, I'm happy to trade off a bit of conversation for a reduced pain afternoon. When I got off the table, I was sore (in an effective way) and I could feel my hips aligned more comfortably, my lower back had released and I could feel a positive change. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a massage for pain reduction. The facility was very clean and the owner was very kind and I can tell she takes great pride in offering a great customer experience. Next Day update: if I could give Mandy 6 stars I would. This morning I woke up without the hip pain I've been uncomfortably tolerating for a long time. My alignment is so much better! What a sense of relief. I've been to 3 other massage therapists since this pain started and none provided the targeted relief Mandy was able to accomplish!

Let me start off by saying that this experience was as much educational as it was relaxing and…read moretherapeutic. Yesterday, I had my first massage in over 5 years. As a Crohn's patient, I have experienced lengthy periods of time where I was not able to be as active as I would have liked, I have undergone multiple major surgeries, and much more. As a result, my body has been in need of some pampering and re-tuning and this massage provided exactly that. Having undergone major surgery, and being an ostomy patient, I had some reservations about having a massage, with my main question being "was it going to be uncomfortable or painful lying on my stoma?" I informed Mandy of my concerns ahead of time, and when I arrived, she was prepared. I had no idea that there was a pillow specifically designed for clients who are pregnant or unable to/uncomfortable with laying flat on their stomach for medical reasons. She had the pillow set up and talked me through what my session would look like. She asked me if I was comfortable and ready and if I had any questions or concerns. Because of her thoroughness and her true care and concern for my physical needs, I knew I was in great hands. The massage itself was exactly the relaxation that I needed. The combination of lighting, temperature and music helped to create a place where you forget about anything other than the fact that you feel the tension in your muscles melt away like butter. Mandy was very much in tune with what I was experiencing, whether it was enjoyment or discomfort. She noticed when I crinkled my face and asked whether or not it was painful and let me know that she could adjust, if necessary. As I mentioned earlier, the massage session was very informative. As she was preparing to work on my legs, I asked a question that I have been somewhat concerned about for a while. I said, "this might be a weird question, but do my ankles look okay to you?," to which she replied, "that's not a weird question." As a lymphedema therapist, too, she is familiar with fluid build up in the body. I noticed the puffiness in my ankles following my surgeries, but I have had it for a while now and couldn't pinpoint exactly when I first noticed it. I honestly thought it was a result of my regaining weight after a long battle with illness, but it was, in fact, a build up of fluid, which can happen following surgeries such as the ones I underwent, in addition to long periods of being sedentary. Being the excellent therapist that she is, she focused for a bit on my legs and worked to help break up the fluid that had built up and was visible in my ankles. When I got up from the massage and looked at my feet, I could see definition in my ankles, which I have not seen in quite some time. My straps on my sandals were looser today. To think that that much of a difference was noticed in one visit makes me excited to think of the healing ahead!

I booked an appointment a month in advance for alpha gal treatment. I paid $150 towards the $550…read morewhich is the total amount for the service. The $150 is to hold your spot, totally understandable. When booking they send you a form that says they don't allow small children during the appointment. I read it but unfortunately I have no family or help out here, my husband and I moved here from out of state 6 months ago. My husband works full time and my appointment was at 10:15 on a Friday. So I drive an hour and half to my appointment and I show up with my 10 month old daughter in her stroller, toys packed, snacks packed, bottles packed. Anything I can to keep her occupied. Karen, the office manager opens the door, no greeting, no kindness, no warmth. Just takes one look at me and my daughter and says "it's going to be about 20 minutes and we don't allow small children" I tell her that I just drove and hour and half and I have no other option. I'm immediately insulted and embarrassed. They didn't even give me an opportunity to show them my daughter would've been totally fine for the appointment since she's used to it. I have to bring her with me everywhere, I have absolutely no help. Karen was combative, rude and fought me to the bitter end. Mind you, we're standing outside of the office not even in the privacy of the office. She didn't even allow me inside, she moved me stroller out of the way and shut the door behind her. The owner Scott who does the procedure is at the desk, wouldn't even come outside to acknowledge what was going on even though he clearly saw and heard. Karen was cold, heartless, and belittling. There was absolutely no warmth towards me as a new customer. She could've come outside and said "Good morning, I know your appointment is at 10:15, we're running a bit behind I'm sorry. Also our policy is that we don't allow small children, do you think she's going to be okay during the appointment or would you like to reschedule?" The entire conversation would've went differently had she not treated me and my baby like an inconvenience. At this point I'm in tears because I obviously do not want to give them my business, I want to take my baby and go home and Karen is arguing with me about policies and refusing to give me back my $150. After arguing with her for 10 minutes outside, she says she'll talk to the owner and see about changing the refund policy this time. She calls me and says "we will refund you the $150, I hope you're happy about it" no apology or empathy. I leave and drive an hour and half back home. The owner never called to apologize. I understand kids can be annoying, but have some compassion for the mothers who don't have any other options. We're human beings too that deserve the same treatment as everyone else.
