Hi Will! Do you have a website? I'd love some info on training options for my very strong and fast labradoodle, Daisy. She's pulls so much on leash! Thanks!…

He weighs about 90lbs and struggles with reactivity (excitement and pulling when he sees other dogs/people) and he did not consistently obey commands (especially "heel"). Elaine was patient, consistent, and very communicative. She took the time to ask us what issues we wanted to focus on, and then was able to come up with a highly effective training on the spot. She was able to get him to follow commands that even surprised us (including getting him to "place" onto a picnic table). And by the end of the session, we walked him around and had zero issues with pulling or reactivity, even when there were dogs and kids nearby. It was impressive to see so much progress in such a short time. Throughout the process, she explained everything she was doing, including the specific steps AND the purpose. She answered ALL of my questions with thoughtful and kind responses. And throughout the whole experience, she was extremely friendly. I would highly recommend her.

Taking her out in public was stressful, she would shake, bark and become very reactive out of fear, which in turn made us anxious too. From the very first call with Manny at Off Leash K9 Training, we knew he was the right fit. He genuinely cared about both our dog and us, and took the time to thoroughly answer all of our questions, which gave us so much confidence moving forward. Throughout the training, Manny kept us updated daily with photos and videos, which was incredibly reassuring and exciting to see her progress. After 4 weeks, our Raven girl is truly transformed. She's so much more confident, calm, and equipped with amazing tools and commands that have made a huge difference in her behavior. We are beyond grateful for the care, dedication, and expertise Manny put into working with Raven. We can't thank him enough and are so excited to continue building on everything she's learned. This is just the beginning! Highly recommend!!!

My Chinese Crested, Hooper, had previous training but was still struggling with reactivity and socialization. I appreciated that Farren didn't push an expensive board and train--she assessed Hooper personally and offered private sessions that fit my budget. After just one session, I already saw progress. Over five sessions, both Hooper and I were trained--because we all know training the human is just as important! A month later, I adopted another dog, Bodie, and brought both pups to Farren's daycare to continue Hooper's socialization. We also did additional public training sessions, which were incredibly helpful. Hooper is now more confident and manageable! Farren has also been working directly with Bodie, helping him learn basic obedience and improve his behavior--especially with things like staying safely in the car instead of bolting into the street. His progress has been amazing. Farren is not just a great trainer, but also understands dog behavior on a deeper level. Her facility is clean, organized, and I fully trust leaving my dogs in her care. I highly recommend Board N Behave for training, daycare, and/or boarding!

Doug is my first dog on my own, and we started working with Cara when he was about a year old (aka: a crazy teenager). We've gone through both of Cara's training courses (Paws 1 & 2), and not only does Doug use these core obedience skills nearly every day, but Cara also taught ME how to communicate with Doug effectively, how to be a strong leader, and how to build trust between Doug and I as he's grown up. Our biggest behavior issues have been Doug's socialization with other dogs and leash pulling on walks. He's always been a bit shy around other dogs and developed mild leash reactivity as he got older. We worked with Cara in a one-on-one training session, and not only do I know how to handle interactions with other dogs now, but Doug has made a great improvement in his behavior around other dogs as well. We also worked on walking in the heel position, and to this day I'm still kind of shocked that he is able to calmly walk by my side instead of dragging me around the neighborhood on his leash. Her prices are fair, especially considering the tremendous results I've seen in Doug. She's very reliable, communicative, and fun to work with. I'm so grateful Doug and I found her!

When I picked him up, Jessica was no longer there and my dog was given to me by another person. No on mentioned anything at all about him being burned and cut with the clippers. Two days later (because I work 12 hr shifts) I came home at midnight on April 4th, noticed my dog was continuously licking his private area. When I turned him on his back to see why he was licking I began to notice the burns and cuts under his right arm, on his scrotum and his penis was burned. The following morning I called the grooming manager (Amanda) and told her what happened. No apology, no customer service or empathy AT ALL. On the contrary I was told I had to prove the allegations because maybe he already had this and I "just didn't notice." Really??? I was told to take the dog the vet and prove that it was from their grooming service that the dog had the burns. I immediately did just that. If I took the dog to any vet I have to upfront the bill money and ask for a refund if proven right, and if not I had to go to their recommended vet and they would pay, still ONLY if proven. I took him to their recommendation because I knew the vet would agree, (Banfield vet in Murrieta, great service btw). The vet ruled in our favor and said yes definitely from the grooming and he treated the burn with antibiotic shot and gave him pain meds and antibiotic cream. Today I went to get a refund for the grooming service and the Petsmart store manager George (tall tan skinned bald man), apparently knew why I was there when I asked for the manager because he just said, "shel refund you" as he pointed to another employee. He didn't make any eye contact with me nor give any apology. That's the worse part of all this. We never once raised our voice or acted out of anger and never once were we given an apology by any of the employees at this location. Very sad! I didn't post all pics because I think even dog private areas may be inappropriate for public view so I only posted the arm.

This is insane , beyond abusive and surreal that this happened. She charged us and said that if we did not pay , and nothing in writing of her policies , she would return our dogs we rescued if we did not pay for a dog actually moved to another area. We paid her 295.00 and 450.00 to be threatened , called names , insulted and no invoice modified as agreed. This is dangerous for dogs already coming from high kill shelters. We are so traumatized we just want our dogs away from her. She is a bully , abusive and cruel. How can she operate this way? Please save yourself and your dogs from this abuse.

DO NOT WORK WITH URSULA!…read more I live in NY and we went through a local shelter to adopt a dog that was in California. Ursula was selected to transport the dog across the country to us for $600. On the day she was supposed to pick it up, she said the dog was too scary and wouldn't pick it up. To her credit, she attempted to get the dog a second time 3 weeks later. She denied to transport the dog a second time and told me that she wouldn't do it anymore. She promised me that she would refund me the money no problem (I only asked for $550 back because I was being nice). I waited a few days and didn't hear from her about paying me back, so I reached out multiple times and got no response. She would not answer my phone calls and would not text back. She eventually blocked me on everything and had a civil attorney message me instead, basically passing blaming the local shelters. We eventually got the money back after weeks of threatening civil action and false promises from her. She then DROVE TO MY HOUSE IN NEW YORK, and had two small dogs poop on my front lawn and front porch. I have her on camera doing it and had to call the local state police to trespass her from my property. I cannot emphasize enough that working with her was a complete nightmare, and urge any new customers to stay away from her.
