If you're looking for someone to handle drywall/painting, then you should just stop looking -- call…read moreAnthony and his team now. I've hired them twice -- once after we needed a massive amount of drywall repair and then a second time that required quite a bit of indoor painting in our house. Anthony and his team are one of the few contractors I've hired over the years that has been incredibly responsive, accomodating, and always on time. He communicated well, and he or his team were always on site within 15 minutes of stated arrival. When he couldn't fit the large job in his schedule in the next 2-3 weeks, he volunteered to come out and paint our nursery that weekend on his own time so that we could get that room situated before the arrival of our baby. The crews were clean, great with our animals, and were easy to work with (and around). All for a very reasonable price. Seriosly, stop looking at more reviews and just call.

He came back to us that same day with a fair quote and was very responsive and friendly with the several follow-up questions we asked in the next days. His brother Dominic and other employee, Blake, were the ones that actually did the work in our home over the course of 9 days. They started by removing some wall paper and then spent numerous hours filling countless holes and cracks in our walls and ceilings. They tried to seal off the areas they were working in in order to minimize the dust as much as possible. They were very diligent at filling all the cracks and holes and smoothing them out so that they were no longer visible. They did several ceilings, a few bedrooms, trim, a living room, kitchen, and hallways, including two staircases. We actually added to the scope of work a couple of times and they were very accommodating. As we were working from home the entire time they were doing the job, we saw first hand how hard they worked throughout the day. They even came back for an extra couple of hours one day to make sure a blemish was fixed. They really went the extra mile, giving it their all and the results showed. We are very happy with how everything turned out! On top of a great outcome, it was a pleasure having them in our home. They were very respectful and friendly, and did a better job of cleaning up at the end of each day than any other contractors we have had in our home. Without hesitation, we recommend Pezzotti Painting! We certainly plan on calling them back for future painting projects! Thank you!!

Barry and his team will forever be my go-to choice and recommendation for any painting/drywall work…read moregoing forward. After moving into our new 2200 square foot house, we realized the prior owner had left us with terrible paint and drywall issues. We were living amongst crumbling white chalk for months. It was still hard for me, a perfectionist and budget conscious DIYer, to invest in the professional painting we clearly needed. Now that we're on the other side with a freshly painted home by Barry and his team, my husband and I both wholeheartedly believe it was worth it. They painted our entire townhome including ceilings and multiple drywall repairs, and they did a wonderful job. What made Barry and his team so great: 1) Communication and ownership - From the start Barry communicated promptly, courteously, and transparently, completed the work quickly, priced fairly, and handled an unexpected paint issue caused by Sherwin Williams with grace. 2) Quality crew - His crew always showed up on time, listened to our requests, and took care of our home. 3) Quality work - Their painting and drywall work look good, even to my perfectionist eye. 4) Accountability - Barry showed up periodically to check how the job was going as it progressed. In my experience, most home contractor owners can't be bothered. 5) Friendliness and respect - Barry, Ty, and Jacob are clearly good people. We always felt treated well as customers and as people. Our house looks like a home now thanks to Barry, and we are so happy! Including the only before/after photos I happened to capture - from chalky white to a pleasant blue for the basement bathroom

I know it's like a joke getting contactors in but it's not terribly funny when it happens to you. The quality of the work was 5 stars. no ifs ands or buts. hole fixed, ceiling painted no fuss no muss no mess. It looks great. The office paperwork side was less so. it was a 2 maybe a 3. It was hard to get an estimate, e-mails sent were apparently missed, the office staff was disorganized- and I'm being polite. it was disorganized to the point I felt like they didn't want my business. and setting a date for the work was only marginally less stressful than Noah booking seats on the ark. When the workmen showed up, they had no work order, I got no receipt or anything at all, and they barely spoke English leading to a few misunderstandings. So the work was absolutely first rate but my God, it was a challenge getting it going.

Anthony's a pro, from the extreme responsiveness to the request for a quote to the thoughtfulness of the questions when he toured our house to the crew that he brought onsite. He huffed and puffed about cc'ing a second email so god knows what he would be like on the job if he had to do something mildly inconvenient. I was completely baffled how this man turned into a child before my very eyes." All of the contractors I've dealt with with the exception of Beauty Walls - have enjoyed back and forth communication, and being very communicative and clear. Sviat literally told us "I'm not in the communications department" on one of his bad days where he was 'inconvenienced' by having to respond to our emails and requests. He rage deleted our project from his system, and when we asked him about it he said that he let his emotions get the best of him and shouldn't have done it in the moment (see more later). Dealing with him and his business delayed our move in date by a month. A prime example of communications with him will be ie - send email Monday, no reply, we follow up Wednesday, then he replies, then we respond within minutes to hours, and have to follow up again Friday for an update. We were going to try to make it work with him - since he did our floors for another property many years ago and went without hiccup. He emailed us (this is copy and pasted: " I made a mistake deleting that estimate, I started again and I'm not able to overcome my emotions. Sorry I can't do your floors. There are good companies on Yelp.com or Angi.com with trustful reviews. We can do painting for you after the floors are done" I would recommend this business if you are ok dealing with this unprofessionalism and childlike behavior As soon as we moved onto quotes from 2 other businesses, WOW night and day. Very communicative, no babysitting and having to follow up for responses, and even more - wow no complaining about having to communicate?! Bonkers. Such a horrible experience, when I really wanted to initially support an independent family business.

George and his team are excellent carpentry and construction workers; their expertise in deck construction has made my deck safer. The only aspect I disliked about the construction was the industrial appearance of the toggle bolts connecting the beam. I plan to apply plastic bolt caps on the studs for a more aesthetic result. Management never provided a detailed invoice. The estimated parts cost was $4000-$4800, while other quotes fell near $2500. I sourced retail costs of #2 grade lumber from Home Depot, and even with shipping, handling, fuel, and fasteners, the total would not approach that range. I will hire them again for another job but will want more detailed costs to budget.

There are 5 star reviews that exist because everything went right. And then there are 5 star…read morereviews because something went wrong, and the company MADE it right. This is the latter of those two scenarios. Home Hero came to install curtains, a TV and a few rods and the first person they sent out wasn't quite able to finish the job due to the fact that we lived in a high rise and the studs were actually made from impenetrable steel (Who knew!). We had a few smaller issues with the work as well. None of it irreparable but we were left dissatisfied enough to let Home Hero know. They IMMEDIATELY reached out to us and asked how they could make it right and went through great effort to do just that. They sent a second person back out and finished the job. I was incredibly impressed with Pete (The owner, I gather) and his team's unquestioning devotion to making sure our work was finished and to our standards. Things go wrong on jobs. It just happens. And that's going to happen with ANYONE who comes into your home in a handyman type capacity. But after working with Home Hero's, it should be appreciated that not every contractor will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with the work, and go back in and correct it if you're not. Thanks again to the two handymen at HH as well as Pete and Lea back at the office.

On the day of the appointment, I waited around until 5pm, when I called to confirm they were still coming. They didn't answer, but called me back about 30 min later to say that there was a mix-up and that they weren't coming. To their credit, they did come the next day, but the technician was very confused about what to caulk in my showers. We watched a youtube video together, then he caulked the showers. I was very nervous at this point, but trusted him. Of course, after waiting 24 more hours to use the showers (and now almost a week of showering at the gym), I find that the shower leaks!!! I contacted the company and they promised to look at it when the drawer technician comes out. Well, that appointment got rescheduled 2 times. I was getting pretty fed up and asked them to commit to a time. That's when Pete, the manager, tells me via email that they cannot ensure that a shower won't leak after they caulk it. At this point, I had no confidence in this company and asked for a refund for the one shower and to cancel the drawer repair. They refunded me $75 out $200 wished me luck disputing the remainder with my credit card company. A total waste of my time and honestly the worst customer service I've experienced in Philly (and that's saying a lot!).
