The exterior of my house has been peeling and in need of a paint job since I purchased the property 2 1/2 years ago. I've attached photos to this review. After multiple quotes and trying to decide the correct time/people to perform the work, I decided to go with Morges Painting for a number of reasons. When Mike first came to my home for an estimate, he immediately took notice of the poor paint job done by the previous owners. I have aluminum beams on the front of my house, and Mike said that there was no primer under the paint, which was causing the paint to peel. He stated that a proper job would be to remove the paint to the metal, prime the surface appropriately, and then apply the paint. Some other estimates I received did not indicate that primer was needed. Also, some painters told me that the paint was peeling simply because it was too old. It was clear from the outset that Mike not only knew what he was talking about but that he wanted to perform the job properly. He and Shawn did an absolutely terrific job transforming my home at a very fair price. I cannot express how patient, kind, accommodating, reliable and trustworthy they were during the whole process. Even though the job took a bit longer than expected due to some rainy days, not once did they cut any corners or try to speed along to rush to another job. They thoroughly, and I mean thoroughly, and properly prepped the exterior of the home prior to painting it in order to ensure that the job would hold well over the coming years. They were timely, professional, and so incredible through the whole process. And to top things off, without prompting, they even replaced my house numbers to match the paint colors I chose because the old numbers were rusted. If I could give higher than 5 stars I would. Mike and Shawn were hands down fantastic. We had two floors of walls, trim, ceilings, and doors that needed to be painted. Mike worked with our scheduled carpet installation and squeezed our job into their already busy schedule. The paint we chose required countless coats in some areas, but they did it with a smile. They were timely, friendly, and excellent at their job. They also expertly patched up three holes in the ceiling from previous electrical work. We got about 8 quotes and Morges Painting was the only one that was reasonable. After agreeing to working together and through out the process Mike was very communicative and responsive. Mike, Shawn and Joe did a great job on our house. They take the time to get the job right and explain the best way to work with different surfaces and paints. Mike and Shaun made our painting experience as seamless as possible. Arriving exactly on time on Saturday, Mike and his team came prepared with everything - including multiple paint iterations to ensure everything met our needs and requests. We admittedly did little to prepare our home for painting, and they were able to move everything, paint, and clean - so our rooms looked just like new.
