Our dryer stopped heating and drying clothes. We borrowed a fancy vent cleaner from our neighbors to no avail. I filed a claim with our home warranty company, and they assigned Integrity Home Services to us. We filed a claim on Sunday night, and Peter called me on Monday morning to schedule an appointment. We set an appointment for Wednesday between 9 and 11 AM. Peter showed up on time (and smelling great) and got to work. He took the time to listen to what was wrong and what we had already tried. He ran the dryer to confirm and then got to work. Peter had the issue fixed in about 20 minutes. It turned out that our thermostat had burned out. He replaced it, but let us know the root cause. Our washer and dryer are too big for our laundry room, and there's not enough room behind the dryer. The hose was getting crushed, reducing the airflow. He tried his best to move our dryer out enough that the hose wouldn't be crushed without blocking our garage door. He let us know that we'll need to change the vent hose to something smaller, or this will happen again. I really love that he took the time to not just fix the issue, but to find the root cause. As a female homeowner, it's rare to feel heard, and it's far too common to be spoken to like a child. Peter was the exact opposite. He was respectful and efficient, which I really appreciate. I had four home fix it projects to be done. Since I am completely helpless when it comes to this, I turned to Daniel from Integrity Home Services. He suggested a date and time which was great. I needed the RO connection tightened, a new shower deflector installed, replace broken shelf holders for one cabinet in the kitchen, and toilet ball and chain adjustment (the last one needed because my fix it prowess didn't pass muster). My dryer vent was so clogged that the gas would not ignite to dry my clothes. In this tract of homes, the laundry rooms are about 10-11 feet from their outside dryer vents. I hired a handyman to clean the vent but he was unsuccessful. I called Integrity Home Services for help because I liked their website. IHS took care of my problem quickly. Daniel cleaned the long vent tube in both directions, from outside and from the indoors. His clean-up work was immaculate, and now my dryer works perfectly. This is my first bad review on Yelp. I always want to leave good reviews for companies to grow their business, life is not a zero sum game for me. But I cannot accept a rude and arrogance behaivor. on 06/03/2024, morning. I called them to ask about fixing some MISC issues from inspection report. He hangup my call abruptly with "I am not interested" while I was in the middle of explaining the project. IMO, that's very rude and arrogant (rude and arrogant are adjectives, not facts, they are my opinions. ) Edit: In response to business owner's reply, WOW, This makes it is harder to trust this business vendor, on top being rule he lies as well. Except the lie itself logically conflicts with what I said. He hanged up my phone abruptly before I even had a chance to be "upset and belittling" to him or show "inappropriate phone behavior". I am a hero for recommending Daniel and Integrity Home Services! I found him on Yelp and was impressed with his reviews so when we needed to replace 8 smoke detectors and have two lighting fixtures replaced, I sent the number to my husband. He returned our call immediately, my husband talked to him about what needed to be done and Daniel told him that while he has a full supply of smoke detectors on his truck, that he would like to earn our business for more than just one job, so he suggested saving a couple of bucks by ordering the models on Amazon. We were wowed by his honesty. We ordered them and he showed up on time to replace. He was in and out in no time. What a friendly guy. He charges by the hour and he does not round up...the time he spends is the time you're charged for. Later in the day, one of our smoke alarms kept beeping.
