Because it was a remodel, he always thoughtfully considered what needed to be done and the best way to approach each task and then quickly and artfully accomplished the task. Knowing of our concern for the small fish in a water feature in the patio, he took care not to use any chemicals to power wash. The tasks were carried out perfectly and the cost very reasonable. He also replaced my neighbor's and our mail box which were looking pretty sad!! And then a couple of days later, we experienced a small "hiccup" in our home. About 4 or 5 ceramic floor tiles decided to pop up like a tent! So, I took photos of the affected area and sent them to Daniel. Soon after he received them, he called me and we agreed that he would return on the following Tuesday. He did and sorted out the problem by removing and replacing the tile. He also provided useful advice should we have to replace the ceramic tile. We hope we do not have to go through that hassle. Finally, Daniel had noticed that there was a spot in the driveway that needed another dose of power washing, which he did. The driveway looks great now. We have been very satisfied and recommend him highly!!!!

Our experience with Key Remodeling & Design was incredible for our waterfront home in Sarasota. It…read morewas difficult to find a general contractor for our bathroom remodeling projects, and we talked to quite a few that either didn't have any vision or didn't get back to us. Red flags. With Nicholas, from the very first contact he was attentive, communicative, and did what he said he was going to do. Our first meeting I took without my wife due to a conflict, and afterwards I confidently told my wife, "I think you are really going to like him." Nicholas came back, we had another meeting--and I was right. He made us feel comfortable and confident and we were ready to start after that meeting. We really loved both of our bathroom remodels. They came out like something out of a magazine to be honest. We were so unsure about how we would pick the right tile or the right paint--so many choices and we were a bit overwhelmed, but Nicholas assured us that he would support us and would help with the design to ensure our vision came to life. We went to the showroom and honestly, it was so easy I was shocked how fast we were able to pick out the right materials. We couldn't have done better with the tile selections and the countertops. We love them. We thought we needed an interior designer, but we didn't. We just needed to trust Key Remodeling & Design. I think the attention to detail and software that Key uses helps keep track of things and really keeps the project running smoothly with deadlines, details, and documentation. We were impressed at the attention to detail and the craftsmanship, especially from Key's tile installer, Tony. The mitering job he did on the tile in both bathrooms to avoid using schluter was fantastic. We honestly would highly recommend spending a little more for this detail. The whole team we met and worked with from Key was amazing and friendly. Nicholas also went above and beyond to move a hideous vent from the middle of our bathroom wall that multiple companies told us couldn't be moved. He knew that we hated it and he surprised us and handled it while we were out of town. His team found a way to handle it and put it up in the ceiling where it belonged! He did not have to do this and didn't commit to do this, but he really listened to us and made a mental note for a later date. This is when I really knew that we made the right choice. It's really the little things. The best compliment I think I could give Nicholas is that he is the best communicator I have ever dealt with. I think that his attention to detail along with his integrity and willingness to make sure we are happy is what sets him apart from everyone else. Also, with any construction project, issues may arise. Anytime an issue came up, it was swiftly taken care of and THAT is not something you find in a lot of companies. The Key team went above and beyond to make our bathrooms absolutely amazing. We will not be looking around for a new contractor for our upcoming kitchen remodel. We'll be using Key Remodeling & Design with zero hesitation.
