I have been a customer for about 10 years and have had 3 sets of "Resound" hearing aids. Each set has been progressively better. My current set is the best, I believe, on the market. They have rechargeable batteries which was an issue with previous models. When I asked the billing manager about extra charges for testing I wasn't made aware of until I received my bill, she told me that I should "expect a specialist to do whatever testing s/he thinks is necessary." My guess is she was told to leave. I may call the office to see if there are any alternatives to her. If after the next visit, I have the same experience, I will report her to the Doctor or go somewhere else. I have seen other negative comments about her in reviews. So, I am not alone.

Most people don't know it, but hearing loss can lead to early onset dementia as well as many other brain deficiencies because your brain starts to shut down if it does not hear what it is supposed to. I called on the phone and spoke with Ashley. She was quick to get me an appointment which surprised me but made me happy. I then went to my first appointment with Bethany. From that point on, and currently, I am absolutely blown away by everything about this business. From the time you walk in the front door until the time you leave, you feel cared for in a genuine manner. These ladies are simply amazing! Bethany has been my primary Specialist but they want both want me to have the best experience possible. Now, hearing aids, aren't necessarily easy to fit someone with as myself, so be patient. I guarantee that if you let these ladies do their job, you will be a happy individual and Will still be able to hear the birds chirping, beautiful music, and in my case, the sounds of my grandchildren. The staff were nice, aside from the woman who made my appointment who was not at all interested in…read moreproviding me with any information about the appointment other than date, time and place (i like to know who I will be seeing at the very least). Their policy seems to be that everyone gets a hearing test, whether you came for one or not. Seems like a bit of a money grab to me. The audiologist gave me the test, never identified herself as the doctor and told me the "provider" (PA) would review the results with me. Just weird. The PA was very nice, took time to explain another, but was not really interested in why I had been referred there (cloudy ear drums). She did a scope of my sinuses, then offered a CT scan as the next step. Surgery would follow that. I came away knowing that my hearing is fine, which I already knew. My sinuses are congested, which I already knew. Can't wait to see the insurance bill for this!
