I was speaking with a doctor within minutes, and the entire staff was kind, calm, and reassuring. They ordered a CT scan right away just to be safe and never once made me feel weird or dramatic for coming to the ER for a head injury. Everyone treated me with respect and made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. Truly great care, great communication, and really good vibes overall. I'm very grateful for the staff here and would absolutely recommend this ER.

I loathe Geisinger, owned by Keiser Permanente. Go anywhere but Geisinger. This location just…read morechanged to what they call a "hop," and it's literally so that they can charge more money. Billing is the absolute worst. I just got a bill for $100, called them, they said part of it was for an MRI I had done over a year ago. Then she says did you pay anything then? I said, I'm sure I don't remember. She looks and then says "oh it looks like you prepaid $89 I'll move that over." So you're telling me I had $89 just sitting somewhere for over a year!?! Call your insurance and ask them what they think about Geisinger. Also, they now send you a bill before you even see your doctor, hoping that you will pay it. You're never gonna get any of that back even if you never owed it, unless you call them and try to get it back. I'm telling you they do it all the time. And if you ask them what the charge above and beyond your co-pay is, they say it's in case they do other things while you're there. Run. Anywhere but Geisinger!!!

They were made of a cheap plastic, and rubbed a blister in his one ear. Then one broke, and he fixed it. It broke again and Boyd said he would see if it was covered. I never heard back from him. He took the broken hearing aid and hasn't reached back out. This happened back at Xmas. I ask him and he was to check and get back to me. There are a lot of hearing aid places in State College, I would definitely suggest someone else. After my experience miracle ear might be more expensive, but they will make sure they fit, made of good quality material and stand behind their product.
