Had positional vertigo. First I spent time with Dr. Wakefield (audiologist - awesome) then a same day appointment with Dr. Kao. He seemed disappointed that I had such a mundane diagnosis as vertigo and not something sexier like Meniere's (sp?). He barely looked at me, told me to watch YouTube videos on how to do the Epley maneuver and I can go. I started asking some questions and he opened the door and started walking down the hallway. He was done with me. Probably less than 1 minute spent with me. I followed him down the hall asking if he could show me the maneuver, and he said to watch the videos or go to PT. He said we don't do that here anymore. I asked for a prescription for PT 1/2way down the hallway and he seemed surprised. He sighed and said ok. His staff is super nice and very helpful.
