They actually gave me a ballpark, unlike the other big companies. Very reasonably priced and they were happy to hook up the sensors I had on hand correctly as opposed to trying to sell me new ones. The tech was very courteous and pleasant. He even got everything "greased" up and explained to me how to do that myself. I asked him to change the burnt out bulbs and he was happy to do so as I couldn't reach them. A+ folks and A+ business practices. One of the qualities that I appreciate about Peter and his crew was their attention to detail. They made sure that everything matched our home (such as moldings, casings, and creating a natural look) and truly took the time to make sure that their work was quality. And when I could not make up my mind about the roof color, Bob Hobbs went above and beyond - he actually drove me to multiple homes so l could see the different colors and styles on actual roofs. That made the decision so much easier! Steve Lengacher kept me updated on scheduling and actually helped make my day a bit brighter at times. The crew arrived exactly as scheduled and immediately impressed me with how careful they were with my property. They took the time to cover my landscaping and made every effort to keep shingles and debris away from my plants. Of course, it's impossible to avoid every single piece when replacing a roof, but somehow my landscaping survived beautifully! During the project, they pulled plywood and removed a yellow-jacket nest. They paid close attention to the details, making sure I had adequate ice and snow shield and adding additional waterproofing up a section of wall where there was a potential problem area. Those are the kinds of things that give you confidence that your roof is being installed correctly-not just quickly. And then came the cleanup. After the roof was completed, the crew didn't simply pack up and leave. They actually went through my landscaping, lifting leaves and checking carefully for small pieces of asphalt and debris. They followed that up with magnets to make sure they had picked up any stray nails. I was genuinely impressed by the amount of care they put into leaving my property as clean and safe as they found it. The follow-up afterward to make sure I was happy with the results was also very much appreciated. I arrived home after a 12hr shift to find an entire trunk was removed from my beautiful mature clump birch tree in the front yard. The trunks will not grow back because they are designed this way. The tree Was ruined and had to be replaced. It could not be replaced exactly in the same place because there was concern removing the roots could damage the homes foundation. So a hydrangea tree also had to be removed to plant the new birch tree. I contacted the owner several times to resolve and he refused to do anything.
