I was experiencing frequent muscle spasms all down my legs from my hips to hamstrings to quads and IT bands to calves. I had been dealing with these spasms for about 6 months on and off. Because I was training for a National Pole Fitness Competition, my body didn't have the opportunity to fully rest and recover. In fact, I can remember one night in particular the spasms were so bad, I couldn't sleep and was in tears. I was recommended Down to Earth Muscular Therapy by a friend and decided to give them a call as I was desperate. David saw me right away and within less than 24 hours, my pain went away, my range of motion increased and for the first time in a long time I was able to finally get some restful sleep. Each time I went back, the spasms went away! He combines stretching with deep muscle release techniques and breathing. He also goes as deep as the muscle will allow before it actually hurts as the muscle will fight back at that point. He also is patient and actually listens to your concerns. Katrina has a really sensitive but strong approach--it suited me perfectly.
