Throughout the process Interium gave us excellent customer service: from drafting a design based on our ideas to being responsive for day-to-day questions, and ensuring everything was perfect post-install. For the post-install they created a "punch list" and quickly followed up to complete it. The only negative is that the construction of the vanity took longer than expected (~1 week longer). Overall, we're very happy with Interium and would hire them again in the future.

He was attentive to our needs and the result transformed our family room. It was a room no one sat in. Now, our family and friends flock there to unwind, have family movie night or to play games. The quality of his work impressed us so, that we had The LA Cabinet Company add a built in bar, floating shelves and cabinets to our dining room. Again, impeccable, flawless work. He then took on the challenge of our kitchen. My family and friends were stunned! Everything was to our specifications, gorgeous, and offered UNIQUE storage solutions. Mike is a skilled craftsman. He was responsible and respectful throughout the duration of the work. I cannot speak to value as we looked nowhere else. His work does take time, beauty and customization always does. His work was well worth the wait AND the way it has gathered our family together IS priceless!!! I highly recommend Mike and his team for all your cabinet needs.

After emailing back and forth, we set up a time for Mike to meet at my house to take dimensions and to talk further about what I wanted. Although I am very unfamiliar with any type of knowledge when it comes to shelves, parts, etc., Mike took the time to walk me through everything and even sent me photos and explanations of my options. Mike was very responsive via email and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted before he started to build the customized shelves and cabinets. Mike and his team were also very respectful on the day of installation. All in all, I highly recommend Mike! My living room turned out even better than I envisioned!

After waiting for half an hour, I called the company myself and was then told that they don't service my area for smaller projects. I completely understand if my project isn't a good fit for the company, but this should have been communicated when the appointment was made, or at the very least sometime during the two weeks we were waiting for the consultation. We cleared our schedule specifically for this appointment, so it was very disappointing and unprofessional to be left waiting with no notice. A simple phone call ahead of time would have avoided the inconvenience.

I've had to do two kitchen renovations in the last 8 years, and Eddie has done both of them…read more The first time, I happened to come across Eddie's shop while driving around LA looking at showrooms and getting quotes. We walked out of Eddie's place with an appointment and both my mom and I saying, "This is the guy." He came out, measured, and went to work. He absolutely KILLED the kitchen. It was done within a week or so and was cheaper than every other place we went to. Then earlier this year, my own kitchen had a leak and I needed to replace some cabinets because of water damage. I called Eddie. He matched the existing cabinets perfectly. And when he came out to look at the damage, he was honest with me: the other cabinets I had were decent quality and there was no reason to replace them. I really appreciated that. He easily could've tried to sell me on replacing everything, but he didn't. We ended up upgrading the countertops too, and Eddie's quote was cheaper than Lowe's. But we went with him for more than just the price. We'd already seen the quality of his work and knew what kind of experience we were going to get. Everyone who has come into our kitchen since has been floored. "It's beautiful." "Incredible." "Holy shit." And every single time someone comments on the kitchen, I tell them the same thing: I have a guy. Call my guy, Eddie. If you're looking for a kitchen renovation or upgrade, call Eddie. Seriously. This is the guy. He'll be my first call for kitchen #3.

I would highly recommend Fernando and Susana at FM Custom Cabinets!…read more We needed to install a new kitchen and the measurements weren't standard since we were using 24 inch appliances. It was hard to find a local company to help us out with this small of a project, but Fernando's company did a great job! We found them on Yelp and called them to get a quote. We sent him a rough drawing to start with. Within a day or two, Fernando came to our property and measured the area (February 14). A couple of days later, he sent us the digital drawing of the kitchen cabinets. We went to the office and its a BIG operation! Dozens of carpenters making cabinets in a huge facility! Fernando and Susana appear to be the ones working with every customer, and their phones were ringing non-stop. They have a very busy operation and a lot going on! While we were there, we approved the design, and they started the project. We weren't too excited about the 5 weeks it would take to finish, but we weren't under a time crunch. We were able to inspect the cabinets (before paint) on March 30, and at that time we realized that they hadn't installed soft-close drawers or cabinets. I didn't realize it was an upgrade when you're ordering custom cabinets (or at least I was expecting to be asked what options I wanted) - but no one ever asked me. They offered to upgrade the cabinets for a small fee and I paid the fee. The cabinets were installed on April 2 unpainted. Unpainted was another thing I wasn't expecting, but in retrospect it makes sense that they would paint them after installation to make a built-in look. A few days later they painted and added the trim pieces. I didn't realize there would be several trips after the installation, so that made coordinating contractors a bit of a challenge. Again, a little more communication and explanation would have been nice. The job was completed on April 5. So it was about a 2 month process from beginning to end. The cabinets look great! Everything fit exactly as expected, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome! The drawers and cabinets all open and close smoothly, and the handles really make the cabinets pop. We are absolutely thrilled with the new kitchen! We are very happy with the design, attention to detail, and quality of work that FM Custom Cabinets performed. Although I wish they would have set the expectations a little more upfront, I think they are generally working with professionals who already know what to expect. Now that I know how the process works, I will definitely use them again for our next property. I recommend!
