I'm a small business owner and I needed some small marble pieces cut to create a display for a retailer who sells my products. I called Arthur and he was super helpful and let me know anything I need they will help me with. I went in to one shop and met with Arthur's father, who has been in business providing marble and tile for 27 years. He was delighted to help me and we started looking at some of his remnants. We went over what I needed and traced out some cuts and agreed on a price, which was more than fair for all the specialized work I was having done. I left for a couple of hours and got a text when the work was ready. I came back and it was beautiful. They even cut some existing marble pieces I had brought in for me so that my display would be stunning. I cannot recommend A&E enough. I needed a new piece of countertop installing to match the rest of my kitchen and after calling around 7 or 8 other places, I couldn't find anyone to do it - literally for months! The job was too small, they were too busy, or they quoted me outrageous prices. Then I called David at A&E. He and Norik showed up to my house within an hour of me calling, measured up, made a template, quoted me a very fair price and left with the piece of marble i needed to be cut, honed and installed. Less than 24 hours later they came back with the marble beautifully cut to size and within minutes my new countertop was installed, caulked, sealed and my kitchen was complete! These guys are professional, clean, quick and precise. I wish I had found them earlier when I had the rest of my countertops installed! Norik is an artist and excellent craftsman. I had a tired 1950's brick fireplace in my otherwise updated home that Norik transformed into a sleek and stylish centerpiece. From our meeting at the stone yard to pick out the perfect slab to his attention to detail and skill in installation, I could not be more pleased with the experience. Norik has done several projects for our firm, so clearly I think their work is excellent. The last job needed an extra coat of sealer on honed marble that stained too easily, but other than that , perfect. Norik even gave us an extra piece after the job was completed. I bid this project and while not the lowest, his pricing was very competitive. When working with stone installation, it is always important to have clear drawings so that you get the details you desire. Norik does his best to clarify the drawings and the existing conditions with the architects specifications. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I had called several contracts to install a granite countertop for an outdoor kitchen. David (son of the owner) came out to take measurements and give a quote. A few days later I received his estimate and negotiated a sight discount based on other estimates. He said he could start the following week, we just needed to purchase the stone. That weekend our search had begun, we found two slabs on clearance that were the perfect color and hopefully size. The slabs were a total of 120 square feet, the area we needed to cover is 108. After a few conversations with David he said he could do it with the two slabs but we would have an extra seem. No problem, we can hide behind the BBQ and you would never know it was there. We purchased the stone and left a message for David letting him know the good news. A few days later we didn't get a response, so I sent a text. Still no response so I called and left another voicemail. No response. Finally after a week I called Norik (his father), he was on his way back from Vegas and said he would call me the next day. Didn't get a call the next day or the following three days after that. Finally, Friday (yesterday) I called him again. He answered the phone and told me his son had underbid the project and he wanted more money, much more. He also told me he wanted three slabs vs the two, said it would be easier to fabricate. After a few minutes on the phone he said he was going to speak to his son again and get back to me. No call back! Do yourself a favor and stay away from these guys!! read more
