I was recommended to this company by a few of my friends who also hired Kevin. I was very impressed on how timely they showed up to provide a quote. I've had experiences with other companies where they show up late or forget but Kevin was really professional throughout the entire project. Their price was also competitive with the market. They started right on time as promised, and I have to applaud them on their cleanliness. I was worried that our kitchen would get really dusty, but the guys were very clean during the entire process and made sure there were no debris flying anywhere. And the kitchen looks amazing with the new marble, no chips or gaps, and fitted perfectly. I'll be hiring them again for my fireplace, so I highly recommend them if you are in the LA or OC area. read more

Biggest fraud and worst service ever! guys nothing but a scam artist. installed a home depot special job, none of the edges match, he chipped the edges and filled it with a darker filler, didn't seal the stone before gluing the edges either. he comes to install and uses clear silicone instead of color matching where the slabs meet. Then he doesn't answer your calls and steals your remaining slab! Stay far away from this crook, don't fall for his price. You get what you pay for! read more

Kevin was such a pleasure to work with. Very professional from start to finish, and had such quick turnaround for the quotes. He also set up next day appointments and showed up on time. We had purchased our quartz slabs through our local tile guy, and he and his team immediately picked them up and got started on fabricating. Kevin was so precise in his measurements and took time to ensure everything was a perfect fit. Further, he provided good suggestions for us (e.g. using the extra piece for the window ledge, and using steel support versus wood for the overhanging counter so the wood wouldn't show) that made our kitchen even more beautiful. If there was one thing we would do differently, we would have contacted Kevin sooner and purchased our slabs through him as he could have saved us some money. Highly recommend Kevin and his team! Even though we swear to never go through another renovation, if we were to have to do this again in the future, we would definitely go with West Coast! Kevin was amazing. We were originally just having him fabricate/install our kitchen countertops, but after the ease of the whole process with him, we decided to also have him fabricate and install our laundry room countertops. We had a miscommunication about what we wanted during installation but I called Kevin and he immediately came over and helped us work everything out. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and he was very flexible about what day/time to install. It looks beautiful. We just had the laundry countertops installed last week and they are amazing. We had a dual mount sink that I wanted to look a very specific way once the counters were installed. Even though some of the cuts were difficult, he told me it would be no problem and he totally performed. He brainstormed with me to come up with the perfect plan as to how he would fabricate and install around the sink so that it would look just how I wanted. When the installation day came, the man who was making the holes for the faucet was clearly very experienced and cut them perfectly to where they didn't damage the undermount sink. This picture doesn't do his work justice... it looks absolutely amazing in person and he knew exactly what I was looking for. He is extremely responsive to texts, which adds to the pleasure of working with him. Thank you, Kevin! read more

We chose Kevin to fabricate our countertops because of all the great reviews on Yelp. He did not disappoint. We called him in October and gave him the schematics for our kitchen and told him the stone we'd purchased - Brazilian Quartzite. We'd originally wanted granite, but my husband fell in love with a pricier stone that was a lot more money. Such is life, right? I knew we needed an artist to cut it. From the reviews, Kevin sounded like the guy we needed. He came and measured, gave us a quote. We added another bar area to use up the expensive stone. He came a second time with his father to make templates. Two weeks later we had beautiful countertops. The work carving stone around the farmhouse sink is excellent. They made hand-cut adjustments on the spot. His team did a really nice job. We did have one or two hiccoughs on the install, one being a seam on the face of the edge of a long counter that didn't match, and the peninsula waterfall was not quite fitted correctly because we were told to remove an entire very expensive molding assembly, and when the team checked the stone he'd already accounted for it. We were not happy at the time, but we got the cabinet maker back to patch up the issue with a neatly executed fix. We're happy it's not where anyone would find it unless they're looking. We spend a lot of time in this room now that was once just for prepping meals. We love our stone and the care and skill that went into getting these to match the walls of an old 1946 home that are settled and most times not square. We highly recommend Kevin and are looking forward to the next project read more

Amazing Contractor, can't say enough about how well the whole process went. They are absolute perfectionists with their work and reasonable with their pricing. Back in April of 2015, I requested quotes from over 10 fabrication companies to cut and install granite for my kitchen (about 30 sq ft of granite). I received some pretty ridiculous quotes or received no response at all. I contacted West Coast Granite and worked directly with Kevin who was really excellent. He came out quickly to make the template, talked to me about the different edges and overhang sizes, and was upfront with all costs (plywood, sink holes, etc.). Their rates were more reasonable than 90% of the other quotes I received. Just like all construction, we had hiccups with delivery and timing, but Kevin went out of his way to work with and around schedules and situations to get our granite installed. It turned out beautifully. Because of Kevin's excellent work and customer service, I'm contacting him to work on our next granite project. Highly recommend! read more

Don't hire anyone else. Kevin stepped in when others messed up my counters. He recommended a great place to get a slab and at the best price. He fabricated, picked up, and installed for a great price. Very easy to talk to and work with. I wish I knew him from the beginning. It would have saved me $1000+ and a lot of time and aggravation. I shopped around a handful of countertop fabricator and installers until I found Kevin. First of all you can't deny the 5 star reviews he has on yelp (& no he doesn't pay his customers to review him either - he's just genuinely that good at what he does.) there are people out there that can do it for less - but remember, you get what you pay for & Kevin and his crew from west coat were worth every penny! His team arrived on install day and everything went smoothly in our kitchen and bath! His measurements were exact (so thankful!) The edging and seems are flawless. & we had no issues other than one of the bathroom sink holes for the faucet is slightly off centered. When all is said and done though - they did a great job and once everything in the bathroom is decorated it will be a blip on our radar. I've heard horror stories from friends who have remodeled and had to buy completely new slabs and pay for someone else to come fix a job done terribly the first time. His price quotes are fair and he shows up on time. His crew was respectful of the house and (our dog) & I'd hire them again in a heartbeat if I had two kitchens. Highly recommend him. & also loved the selections available at the countertop distributor he referred me to. I drove an hour to sun valley from the South Bay and it was totally worth the drive! We went with white quartz that looks like the closest thing to a marble slab I've ever seen. Brand: Aureaa Stone . Style: Phidias. I'll upload pictures once the rest of the construction in my house is complete! Still waiting on the cabinet guy to come back and fix a few things he messed up :) ... you can watch me cook in my kitchen and discover healthy inspiration on my website beachlifeorganic.com and on Instagram @beachlifeorganic . I called West Coast knowing exactly which quartz countertop I wanted. They came in well below the 4 other quotes I had received from other businesses. I can't see any seams and they cleaned up after themselves. Very friendly and professional. read more

I got lucky when searching the internet for a granite fabricator installer. I was looking for someone who lived closed to my neighborhood. After researching West Coast Granite & Marble, I couldn't help being impressed by all the 5 star ratings on Yelp. I decided to give them a call. Kevin returned my call almost immediately. I sent him photos and dimensions of my outdoor barbeque island, which he needed in order to provide an estimate. Once again, he called back within a few hours. The price was right, so I made the right decision to hire him. He came by my home to take some exact measurements and took care of all the arrangements. The cuts he performed were right on the money. His crew was professional and the installation was superb. If you're looking for a fabricator, look no further, Kevin's your guy. Tom from Burbank read more

This was the first time I had ever renovated a kitchen & I was installing my own ikea cabinets, so I was flying blind as I tried to figure out how marble counters worked. I was so ignorant that I didn't even know that I needed a fabricator separate from the marble warehouse. Once I finally learned that, I solicited bids from four different fabricators along with reading reviews on Yelp, Google, etc. West Coast Marble & Granite Fabrication had the best reviews and gave me the lowest bid. Kevin even referred me to a different marble retailer where I got a better price for a slab of carrara than I'd been quoted elsewhere. Kevin was patient & kind dealing with my newbie ignorance. He also caught important details such as the need to move power outlets to make the backsplash look best unlike other fabricators who bid on the job. His communication was also first rate and he even finished the job sooner than originally estimated We're thrilled with our new kitchen & very grateful to have discovered Kevin. In short, he offered the best price, was detail oriented about the work, saved me money on marble, kept excellent communication throughout, delivered early, and was patient and kind with a total rookie. West Coast Granite & Marble Fabrication is the total package. read more

These guys deserve 10 stars. I flip homes for a living and have used many fabricators but this project was different as it was my own house. I was refferred to West Coast Granite and marble fabrication and I have to tell you I couldnt be more satisfied. I will be using them on all my flip homes in the future. Here is what you will get with them 1. reasonable prices - You pay for what you get and the value here is spot on as their prices are competitive. Trust me the cheapest guys are the worst. This is one part of construction not to cut corners on. 2. Service - I cant tell you how good the level of details were and how well thought out each recommendation was. They were amazing. 3. Timing and responsiveness - When Kevin says ill install by end of the week, he delivers! He was even early on a few items which is very rare in construction. He always responded to phone calls and texts and at the end he ended up saving me money by the way he cut the slabs! 4. Quality - He runs a three man crew, they are so clean and do such a great job that nothing ever went wrong.... I cant thank you guys enough for the job you did on my kitchen and bathroom countertops. We found Kevin and his team through Yelp, after our fabricator was injured while we were remodeling our kitchen. I called, got Kevin on the phone, gave him dimensions, the type of quartz we were purchasing, and he gave me a quote. He had a truck go down to Anaheim to pick up the stone, had it fabricated and installed within 10 days. Even stayed on site when there was a small glitch with one counter, worked to fix it and finished the job that day. Really courteous, responsive, and a great price. WOW!!! I can't say enough good things about Kevin! Anyone who has had remodeling done knows how flakey and unprofessional some contractors can be. Not Kevin! He is very knowledgeable and patient. He answered all of my questions and even took us to different granite yards to help us find a quality slab of granite. We had him install granite in our Kitchen, Master and Kids bathroom and he did an amazing job. He even made sure that the more beautiful and unique pieces of granite were show cased. Hire Kevin immediately. Well if you are reading the reviews on this page then you are shopping around for a stone fabricator. If that's the case, you, like other Yelpers and I before you, have found the best fabricator in the greater Los Angeles area. A month ago I had an arrangement with a different fabricator who came highly recommended from the slab yard. On the day of pickup, I was stood up and when called him, the guy came up with a story of a death in the family etc.. So I did what most of us do when searching for help, I started to search Yelp! Luckily I found West Coast Granite. I called Kevin who was completely booked. I told him my story and explained him that we were planning to move in during the (coming) weekend before schools start. I had a quartzite to be picked up from North Hollywood and needs to be fabricated and installed in Thousand Oaks. Without any further negotiations, Kevin promised that my island will be ready on Saturday, but he would try his best for Friday. Friday before noon I received a phone call from Kevin that he was ready to install it. He came to the house with his dad and waited for an hour for my wife who was driving back from LAX. Despite all that, he met her and the kids with a big smile on the face and the most courteous attitude, then proceeded to install the plywood and quartzite slab in no time. He then went on to cure/seal the stone and explained my wife how to care for it. He even sent me a text with a couple of pictures from the installation. I would hire Kevin again and again without any single hesitation. He is by far an outstanding craftsman and a true gentleman. I highly recommend him and his work ethics. read more

I interviewed and discussed my project with multiple contractors over a period of weeks. This is a high end home that is being refreshed and staged for sale. I had to go with Kevin at West Coast Granite & Marble, here is why. 1. He is very punctual and when he says he will be there, he is there. A man of his word. 2. His price was very competitive, he always returned calls and he really took personal ownership on the project. 2. All of his guys were here on time, every day, just as committed, a huge thing when you are on a tight schedule. The job got done on time. 3. The work done was by journeymen craftsman, they know their trade very, very well and the work reflects that, the projects turned out fabulous. 4. They pay attention to the details and were very clean, they also listen when you are on site they are patient, interactive and nimble enough to make changes on the fly when requested. All of these items listed above are a rarity, speaking from experience. I have worked with several contractors in the past, Kevin / West Coast are at the top of my list. The work they did was first rate, the workers are great hard working professionals and Kevin truly cares about his customers and customer service. The pride of ownership, getting it done to your satisfaction and attention to detail are here. As I said I would highly recommend these guys and will use them again on future projects. West Coast Granite is on my speed dial. Thanks guys for a terrific job, we'll talk again soon. read more

BEST experience and craftsmanship ever and I will ONLY use Kevin from now on for all stone fabrication and installation!!! I've helped remodel 6 kitchens and baths and as such, used no less than 6 counter fabricators. Each job had a different fabricator because, quite frankly, the work was passable but NOT up to the standards one wants when investing so much money. That was then, NOW I have found the one and only fabricator I will ever use and recommend - Kevin Kalaygian from West Coast Fabrication. #1. Hands down the most knowledgable of his craft that I have come across in Los Angeles County whether you hire on the West side or San Fernando Valley. #2. Excellent people skills! Very pleasant. Very accommodating. Very professional and very interested in pleasing his customer! #3. And this probably should've been listed as #1... EXCELLENT and precise cuts!! NO jagged edges and the skill this man has is so dead on that for my job - when three other fabricators wanted me to WASTE $1,300 on a second slab (because they knew they weren't good/confident enough to make precise cuts), Kevin advised straight up that while there would be NO room for error on his part, I only needed my one jumbo slab for the entire job - which included an L-shaped piece that was 1-piece, NO seam. Absolutely gorgeous work!! When I have a moment, I will upload photos to show potential customers the difference between Kevin and other fabricator results. Some cut corners to the extreme, using dull blades that result in a jagged tooth like effect on the seams. KEVINS LINES & CUTS ARE BEAUTIFUL!! So IF you obtain a quote from Kevin and he seams to be $100 or even $300 more than others...it's because he may SAVE YOU MONEY & heartache in the end! He not only saved me the $1,300 for the unnecessary slab all others "insisted" I had to buy, but he saved me a good $80 - $120 in mark-ups that others I've used also tack on in the end stating XYZ was "unexpected" and needed. Kevin at West Coast Fabrication is worth every penny! His crew was as professional as he. He came in and did the job, cleaned up and from start to finish it was a pleasant experience. He even finished 2 days EARLY, "rushing" himself in fabrication because he knew I was on a deadline and yet, as stated, his cuts were flawless - as was the fit. Kevin cut and installed: (a) a 4ft powder room vanity - and gave me an AWESOME price on some remnant Quartz he had as a favor. Saved me more than $200 for even a pre-fab compromise for the space so - loved it!! (b) my kitchen counters (also in quartz) which included a two-level island. (c) and at NO extra charge to me, Kevin had his guys fix a chip in my master bath counter that ANOTHER (inferior) fabricator installed a couple months earlier - and I obviously did not use again. Can't even tell there was a chip there now so, that made me very happy!! My powder room vanity counter by Kevin - PERFECT. My kitchen counters and island by Kevin - PERFECT. The favor of fixing my master bath vanity counter chip by Kevin - PERFECT. It was all just perfect. I know money is tight for most, but Kevin is just as competitive as the rest and when it comes to custom work, he is most certainly worth a few extra bucks because the end result speaks for itself. The last thing a person wants is to go through the hassle and expense of living through the inconvenience of remodeling baths and kitchens, only to have to "live with" someone's inferior work. Kevin's work was simply superior! read more

LOOK NO FURTHER!!! Remodeling my kitchen during this pandemic has been a huge challenge and extremely stressful! I called a hand full of fabricators, until I came across Kevin. I chose Kevin because of all the granite Consultants I spoke with Kevin was the only one who tried to understand my vision and told me honestly what would and wouldn't work in my space. He must have spent 45 minutes to an hour helping me work out the details and figure out what would fit properly in my space. When he finally delivered the finished product, it was gorgeous and exactly the way he described. Flawless service. Kevin and his charming father came and took measurements. They were direct and educated me about what to look for in a fabricator and what, specifically, they were willing to do. It looks terrific. I couldn't be more grateful for the nice job he did. And as for price: he is very reasonable. I asked for four other contractors for quotes.
