Joe responded quickly and told us both what we…read morecould expect in terms of benefits and the limitations based on the construction of our 100-year-old house. This was the rare example of a contractor under-promising and over-delivering. The crew was excellent, with everything protected and cleaned up afterwards as though they had never been there. The cost was also far less than a couple of other quotes we received; in part because Joe told us that putting the foam in certain areas would do us no good at all. Highly recommend!

Not urgent, and it ended up taking a month…read moreor so for them to get the jobs actually done, due to scheduling and weather, which was fine. I'm sure if I'd said it was urgent they'd have tried to come sooner. They came out a week or so after I called to check things out and give me a quote. That guy, Matt, and the later handyman were friendly and efficient. Then another few weeks till they came out. I got the disposal and they installed it, plus added a plug under the sink and fixed the wall switch. Took an hour or so. This is the only handyman our dogs haven't barked at when they got here, and never did. He said he has dogs, but sometimes ours go nuts no matter what, on just hearing or smelling a stranger. The roof took maybe half an hour. Again, professional and efficient. Prices seem a little high to me, but it's been awhile since I hired anyone so this may be the new normal. And I used to be able to do some of this stuff but can't now, so, I have to pay someone sometimes. Worth it to have it taken care of.
