Although the staff here can vary in skill level, I have never left feeling disappointed. In fact, most of the time I am delighted with the service. Special kudos to Lee and to Nina. I like that I get a full hour treatment rather than 50 minutes, and that I don't have to undress and then feel sticky afterwards because of massage oil or lotion. I get to choose the intensity level and speed of the service. And I particularly enjoy the uniform structure of the massage. I like to go just before I have Chiropractic treatment because the adjustments are so much easier. Maybe best of all, I can go anytime, when I am most in need of a massage. Fair warning -- they do not speak English.

I worked overseas for 6 months and just got back to Seattle last month -- and one of the first…read morethings I did was come back to The Relaxing Station for a massage. I was a little sad to find out that some of the therapists I used to go to are no longer at this location: Mark, Andy, Peter, Owen, and even Tun (the shorter guy with glasseswho was always so warm and welcoming but I never had a massage with him). He always made sure to greet and acknowledge me whenever I visited, which was something I appreciated. Thankfully, David (the tall guy) is still here! It was great to see a familiar face. He has always been one of my go-to therapists since -- he understands the pressure I need and consistently delivers a great massage. Today, I came back again and David wasn't available, so I tried Tao (I believe that was his name). He did a good job and I enjoyed the session. One thing I noticed though -- the therapist photos and names displayed on the monitor seem outdated. I think keeping those updated would be helpful not only for security reasons but also for regular clients who come back and want to recognize their preferred therapists. One area that could use improvement is the air circulation. Since summer is here, the room felt quite warm, and during the later part of my massage, I found it a little difficult to breathe comfortably. Overall, I'm still happy to come back to The Relaxing Station. I appreciate the therapists who have taken care of me over the years and hope the facility continues improving so returning clients can continue having a great experience. The rating is for the poor air circulation I experienced today.

Had to pay 1st with a $5 charge added for using cc, a little high but ok, it was posted and ok to add tip after. Glanced at the clock, 3:15 is what I noted. Megan did a good job on my upper and lower back. Good pressure and really leaned into the knots. Less pressure on each leg, it was ok, but wouldn't have minded some more pressure on my calves and hamstrings. A hot towel but no stone/rock massage. Flipped over with some light massage on chest/stomach but limited. Head/scalp massage (I asked) was nice and very relaxing. Then some very light massage on arms with very light massage over the sheet on each leg. So 1st visit, it was just ok. Not a 4 out of 5 so I was slightly disappointed, but the main issue was I felt shorted, the massage ended at 4:05. On the way out I asked Megan and she insisted we started at 3:05. I wasn't going to argue but word to the wise, set your timer at the start of the massage. I have a place I use on the west side that I've been going to for years, and always leave relaxed and satisfied. I wanted a place on the east side but not sure this will be it. If I do come back I will set my timer next time, would like to but not sure I will.

I truly hurt... my body hurts on a regular basis because I have chronic inflammation., I cannot live without going to see Kevin at Herbal Oasis weekly. He I so good at massage that after I leave, I literally feel high because of all the endorphins. I've come here at least 25 times and I can't tell you how much better it is then Joy Spa or like the Relaxing room in Bothell. This is the place to go if you want deep tissue reflexology because Kevin is a pro at doing deep reflexology without the annoying feeling that sometimes you get with this kind of massage of somebody just pushing their fingers into places that hurt. He never does this! I know for sure I'd be much sicker if I wasn't able to go here at least once every week and a half! ! Scheduling is a breeze and as long as you keep them updated as far as your schedule they don't get mad if you have to change the time or cancel. I try not to do it because this massage therapist is so amazing, but I would hate to lose him as part of my care team. there are so many massage places in Bothell in Kirkland, but there is nothing better than Kevin here at Herbal Oasis.

Highly recommended.

Me and my boyfriend were both creeped out here last week…read more The other morning, I called in and booked same day massages for me and my BF. A nice woman helped me with the booking. It was a first-time experience at this place for both of us. I had been to many massage parlors and massage therapists before. It was my boyfriend's first time having a massage. We both were looking forward to it. The back door entry was a little creepy and there was an odd vibe to this place. I had been in some pretty sketchy places before that were so much worse and I was with my bf so it was whatever. The ratings also looked legit, so I dismissed it. However, the guy at the front desk made me feel uncomfortable when I asked him where the bathroom was. I saw the masseuse that was supposed to massage me after I left the bathroom. I walked past him in the hallway. I just got the weirdest vibe. I felt super uncomfortable. My boyfriend let me know he was feeling uncomfortable, as well. He also saw the masseuse hanging around and was just uncomfortable, again a weird vibe. So I know it wasn't just me. We just wanted to get out of there asap. We didn't care about the cancelation fee, as both of us would rather pay to not feel violated/uncomfortable. I shared this with one of the owners and it was not met with understanding, more like they were just afraid I was asking for a refund than concerned that I was uncomfortable . His response was "We've never had this issue before". I would have handled the interaction a bit differently.
