I also hate to negatively review a small, local business but I feel more compelled to warn our neighbors. This was the worst massage experience I have ever had. I should have followed my gut and left but the twinge in my lower back urged me to stay. The place smells like a litter box. It is not very clean. Check out the bathroom to see what I mean. It was very clear when my bare feet were on the carpet when I went to get dressed. So gross. Okay, no music but it came on when I was leaving. This means I could hear every breathe my unmasked masseuse exhaled over me (I did not realize she was unmasked while I was face down). My masseuse was unfocused and it was as if she had ADHD. She was all over the board. She was rubbing my neck and then my right leg back to me neck, my left arm (but never my left leg. That somehow got completely ignored) and back to the neck and shoulder but never my lower back. It was not calm, it was not relaxing. It was disjointed, disconnected, unfocused, amateurish. She yelled through the door in Mandarin over the top of me to someone out front. Super aggravating. My door was opened 3 times while I was unclothed so that also was deeply disturbing. The language barrier was more than problematic and I do not appreciate having to pay in advance. My one hour massage was 53 minutes and that includes the 4 times she stepped out of the room for more than 6 minutes so that means 47 minutes for a prepaid hour. Like the other reviewer stated, I almost got up and left in the middle. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. Trust me. read more

Terrible customer service and attitude! I went there for one hour deep tissue massage. They take payment before service. I made my payment and told myself I'll tip after the massage. While she was giving me a massage I was already thinking about coming back. After the massage I was walking out of the room and reaching my wallet for cash to give her a tip. She immediately handed me the receipt and a pen and forcing me to tip her $20. I told her I have cash she said no here tip $20 with credit card. I gave her $5 with card and $5 cash total of $10. She was so upset. She started talking to the other lady in her language and seemed very upset. Tipping shouldn't be forced. It is optional based on the service. Can't beat this place for the price, or overall value. They have had appointments every time I have called needing one. Placed me with a female therapist every time with out me having to ask (this might not matter to some people, I am just not comfortable with a male provider). So here is where this place might not work for some of the people out there who's Yelp reviews make me roll my eyes (the customers that every business doesn't want to have). I let myself get a little sidetracked there anyway, I would call the massages more Spa like and less medically focused. I don't think this is anything other then a business decision on their part. I am personally thankful for it, keeps the costs down, saves you from having to say that the massages ‍ you are getting are providing near logic defying results in order to get them covered by insurance. Language may present a barrier for customers who might be trying to turn this place into something it's not. It's not been and issue for me there, I have always felt like I have been understood and the massage was adjusted accordingly. No frills kinda place but it was clean, had a quiet room with relaxing music and comfy massage table. Easy to get an appointment. The ladies used a full hour. Located next to the breakfast cafe but it's not a bad spot. A little pricey for the service but I'd go back again. I called a head and made an appointment. Language barrier made it a little hard to communicate over the phone, and onsite, but it didn't create a negative experience. I asked for the $50 combo. First they took me to an open area with 3 low massage tables. Thank God I brought shorts and a tank top. I was able to lie on my back while they dunked my feet in hot water... really hot (ouch). I had to ask them to cool it down. Then they gave me a half hours massage on my feet and legs. Not too bad. They wiped the area down with a wet towel after. Next they asked me to get up and walk into a private room where I took off everything but my underroos and she finished the rest of the massage with a full body, focusing on my back most of the time. I was able to let the masseuse know how hard I liked it though. After I was offered bottled water. They prefer cash but I used my card and was charged a $1.00 service fee. I've never been to a massage parlor where you pay for your services before it even starts but I guess this will be the first. There are services listed and the cost. The lady stated only 60 minutes for $60 and I only wanted the 30 minutes since I had a engagement. I then went with what she told me to get. While the lady was giving me the massage, she was moaning like she was in pain and holding her back. I asked her if she was ok and she responds with "massage too much". She started the massage at 4:15pm and ended it at 5:00pm. When she was done she told me "good massage yes? Good tip!" I said yes but it's not 60 minutes but 45 minutes and she didn't understand me and goo walked out of the room. After getting dressed, she waited in the front when I gave her tip. She said "No No No I need $20 dollars tip. I told her I don't have that much cash on hand but I can tip $10 on the receipt and she got upset and told $60 for boss and $20 for me. I have never encountered this ever. I didn't want to be there any longer and I just signed $20 tip. $80 for 45 minutes. She was so happy and I told her I'm very disappointed by this. Very unprofessional. When I arrive, the lady charged my card immediately and left me in a room for almost a half an hour and didn't have the courtesy to update me. When I finally decided to leave, I called them and requested them to remove the charge. The lady on the phone offered to send me somewhere else and I declined. I requested a refund, but the charge still showed up on my credit card. Furthermore, I started having fraudulent charges on my credit card which appears to be linked to this outfit. My husband and I love that place! It is clean and quiet, they have a couple room, and a few individual rooms. You just call and make an appointment and park your car at the back. Our masseuse Amy was great and she is right on spot! I have back pain because holding and lifting my young kids. She did excellent job helping me to relax the muscles and get rid of the pain. From the minute I walked in it was uncomfortable. The language barrier is really really hard here. I asked for a combo 90 min $90 foot reflexology and massage. Several times . Deep tissue. Then was asked to "pay... pay money now" before service. My first red light. I asked if I could pay after so I could tip? No. Really awkward . Then proceeded to be brought into a room to change and told through a voice app on her phone that "the sheets are clean" ok......the "therapist" and I use this term loosely, was in and out no less than 7 times. I had no idea what was going on. Come to open my eyes and see another girl massaging? What the actual heck??? Like what's going on here? Door open... someone in, someone out? The massage was sub par. I should've taken a hint from signage that said prostitution wasn't accepted among other things. I had a bath towel to cover even though it wasn't covering me at all . There was zero foot reflexology. The massage was spotty at best. This was not a very good experience. I almost got up and left. But I kept thinking it would be better. Summer is the best massage practitioner, I've encountered and I've had a great number of massages I was easily about to relax in the room she has set up. She does a great massage and will go as deep into the tissue as you want.I have had many wonderful massages. people are always so nice and every massage therapist I've seen here is nice, kind, and friendly but most importantly competent. Wow! This place was amazing. We came for two foot massages and we were very relaxed and much less tense at the end. Parking was free in the back of the building and I called right before heading over to make sure they had an opening.
