Do NOT take a loan through them.
If that's one thing you take away from my review please let it be that.
There are many things I can say about my loan experience with Instant Cash Flow. Most of it having to do with the owner, Chad (Nathan).
If you look through other negative reviews, like on google or the two complaints on the BBB website you'll see his responses. They are grossly unprofessional. He responded to my review on Google the way I thought he would.
Thankfully I was able to figure something out and pay my loan in full today. If you can avoid doing business with ICF please do so. Sometimes life throws you into a mess and you cant do much about it. He was upfront with the interest rate of more than 600% however, I'll include a bit of the contract sent to me below.
"I hereby authorize Instant Cash Flow to initiate debit/credit entries to my account for all payments due, including any returned unpaid item fees due, on which the subject of this agreement is drawn and the Financial Institution at which the account is held to debit/credit the same to such account, including debit/credit card as well as electronic payment.
This authority is to remain in full force and effect until ICF and the subject Financial Institution have received written notification from me of its termination in such time and in such manner as to afford ICF and said Financial Institution a reasonable opportunity to take act on it. I understand that I may cancel this authorization by providing written notice to ICF at least ten (10) business days prior to the payment due date. I further understand that canceling my authorization does not relieve me of its responsibility of paying all amounts due in full. You agree to pay all reasonable attorney's fees in the event of default and all referral fees to an attorney. I also understand in the event that there is a deposit for my check and it is returned from the Fin. Inst., I agree that ICF may electronically represent it to the bank and include any applicable service charges, collection fees, and damages. "
This is standard in most contracts, however even though in the contract it indicated that you can revoke ACH debits, that is not the case. They will tell you that in order to revoke your permission you needed to make a payment before the due date. That is not included in the contract, however he likes to say his contract is "iron clad". However, that is not the case and he obviously breached the contract.
Chad (Nathan) refused to comply with the request and still ran the ACH. I went to my bank to stop the payment but he had my card number. He then proceeded to run my card and take out the money that way. When I asked where he received the card information, which I gave once for the initial deposit, he ignored me and then hung up on me. I was going to let it to go to collections with his lawyers and dispute the charge as he voided the contract.
I managed to pay in full today and thankfully will never work with Chad (Nathan) again.
The initial deposit did come quickly, so if you need the money for a day or two then go ahead. But beware if you need it for more than that. If possible use a prepaid card to make payments. They will only take payments over the phone or email/text. They have no secure way of doing it. read more
