Going on 30 years now, I'm Supremely happy to be a member of NFCU since 1988! This location near…read moreTown Center in particular is IMO one of NFCU's showcase branches- beautiful facilities and love the 24/7 access to 2 ATM machines including my most often used drive through ATM! It's a rarity that I actually get in the teller line nowadays since the NFCU app is pretty robust to do check deposits with a snap of a photo as well as easy $ transfer from/to any NFCU accounts. I have been very happy with my past engagements with NFCU's loan (mortgage, auto) departments and like the immediate responsiveness of their credit card fraud department when they flag potential fraudulent transactions. I do miss that NFCU no longer has coin counting machines (allowed customers to have their coins counted and deposited directly into NFCU accounts) in any of their branch locations.

WOW! This has to be one of the most unprofessional businesses I've come across…read more My sister walked in to open an account with a large amount to be wired from a home sale. She has limitations on comprehension of social and business dealings and suffers from severe anxiety. I help her in her affairs. She was brave enough to go into this Jacksonville, FL southside location, and was humiliated and denied an account because she could not express her needs. She was dismissed and told she was a scammer. She dialed me on the phone to assist and the representative was yelling at her to hang up the phone. I requested a local branch manager and a corporate manager call, me and no one returned my call. I sent an email to the CEO, Brent Lister and nothing. I called the branch manager Cori VanArsdale and finally got a call back. I explained the situation and was told she would get back to me. She has not! I really question if they have a bad apple in the rep that my sister encountered, or if this is a trickle down from management. As a past retired business owner my reputation in my industry was of great importance. Can you please all people? Certainly not. But there are consequences for action and in business, wrongs need to be made right. A simple apology and concern goes a long way. Train your people or get them out of servicing the public. Treat people with disabilities with some level of compassion.

Now- it used to be, you had to go in and a teller could note your account. Well after waiting 10 minutes for a teller- she told me I "could" do it on the app. Sigh. I was there, I waited... unless they are no longer allowed to note an account (which they "could" have said that)- I don't understand why they couldn't help me. So, my impromptu trip inside a bank- which seems to happen now about once a year, was pointless. But the atm worked- so there's your 3 stars.

I had been a customer of this business for over 30 years. That relationship ultimately ended due to…read morea failure to ensure that my insurance premium was paid. The issue arose when the insurance company was changed and proper follow-up was not completed. I contacted the office more than 30 days ago to have the matter corrected. At that time, I was told that they had contacted the mortgage company and provided the required insurance information. However, approximately one month later, I received another letter from the mortgage company stating that there was no insurance coverage on the property. I contacted the office again and requested that, since they indicated they would be emailing the mortgage company, I be copied on the correspondence. When I received the email, it was sent only to me and not to the mortgage company. Additionally, it contained incorrect information: it referenced the wrong insurance policy and the wrong property. The information was being sent to the incorrect insurance company. Specifically, the house that does not have a mortgage was listed with policy information intended for the house that does have a mortgage. At that point, I simply wanted the issue to be properly handled and resolved by their office. However, in their response dated 12/15/2025, they did not state that they would take responsibility for resolving the matter. As a result, I no longer had confidence that the issue would be addressed correctly or at all. Due to these repeated errors, lack of follow-up, and loss of trust, the matter remained unresolved and ultimately led to the termination of a long-standing business relationship.
