I read my contract before purchasing because I was buying my car $10,000 cash and that's what you're supposed to do. Not one time did I come across a page that disclosed any major issues with my car. I had to sign the bottom of every sheet and I did just that. My car died a week and a half after I got it! In that time I did an oil change, a tune up, I had to replace the radiator and thermostat, and I kept getting a code saying the 5th cylinder in my motor was misfiring. The car died y'all it's been sitting in my driveway for a year and today I decided to check the seatbelts because from the beginning when I cleaned it out I kind of suspected water damage. They smell like mildew more and more the closer it gets to the end of the belt! But let me go back a little because when I contacted them about the other issues I was having after having the car 3 DAYS! at that time they told me I bought it as is and they weren't fixing anything and it's all on me now. He said it in the most grim way with an added chuckle. I said ok and went to seek legal advice but in the state of Illinois there are no lemon laws so I was stuck with this junk and I was helpless. Something said check your contract, why when I went to read I found a mysterious page saying that I would possibly have to replace the motor... I was like wait I e never seen this otherwise I wouldn't have bought the car at all. I then got excited because I had proof that they fraudulently sold me a car. They failed to disclose this information and they couldn't say I saw that page because guess what (remember when I told y'all I signed every page?) there was no signature. So I instantly called the lawyer and as I snapped pics to upload for the legal team I noticed my signature was not in a single piece of paper but how was that possible if he took it in the back for "copies" and he switched the contracts! I wanna say his name was Jim but forgive me if I'm wrong because it's been a year and I'm still going thru the legal side of it all. I don't hardly remember his name but I can tell you whoever works in that building that had surgery with in the last year (he told us he was going to be off awhile for it) is the guy I'm talking about so beware of the man with the cane because he's the worst kind of human, very dishonest, and shame on you sir! But let me add when I've told this story to people around me I've discovered two of them had been there and also were sold lemons so be careful and make sure you read your contracts and pay attention to everything like I did. I've contacted the attorney general and I'm pressing the issue y'all got the right one this time. I got nothing but time to sit in a court especially when I know I'm right. You will pay for what you did to me! Enjoy

Here is the email that I sent Jeremy and he just replied that that there is nothing he will do…read more i have all the records and documents showing exactly what i believe is unacceptable and I really would like to not have to deal with Ronnie at all if that is at all possible. Simply because he has already lied to me and caused me sleepless nights.. First off when i first called the dealership and he picked up the phone and ansured what few questions i had on the car which was.... Is it available? It does get 40 to 50 miles a gallon? And is their anything wrong with the car? He told me that their was not one thing wrong with the car those were his exact words and he never try's to mention anything about the Salvage Title not until after i had someone from work drop me off up their because i had no car at the time and he made sure to get the 2500 down payment from me and have me fill out half the paper work and then he springs it on me now its real slick how he gives you no time to find out what a salvage title even means i had no idea but if he could have told me just a hour earler i could have read up on it and would have diffenetley not have bought the car to begin with. And on top of that he didnt even sell it to me at the salvage title value which is $ 4300 i have the tax papers on that is what the state of missouri appraised it at. So he sells me a car for $ 9000 that is appraised at $4300 and that's not all the ad that you had on the car clearly says that it get around 45 miles to the gallon. Well just a couple of days after i bought it i knew that was not at all accurate because it only gets 12 to 15 miles a gallon reason the IMA battery is out on the car which is a $ 2500 dollar item now to me that qualifies as one thing being wrong with the car and two things the would be the Salvage Title. Now i did drive it back up to the dealership to see if he could have it fixed you know since it was right after i bought it and of course because he assured me their was not one thing wrong with the car.... but instead of helping me it just said well that sucks and let me know that it was my problem... OK so there are two options that i think is more than fair and i really hope that you agree the option being i have already paid more than what the car is valued at so 1st option being we clear the car note... if that is not possible for you than option 2 would be i bring the car back and just get refunded the money i paid on it one of these options could surely work. i really hope that you can work with me on the matter you can reach me at 903 910 9722 Now don't just go off my reviews please look them up on the BBB WEBSITE AS WELL THE BBB RECOMMENDS NOT DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM AT ALL COST!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM INSTACREDIT AUTOMART - COLLINSVILLE LOCATION…read more Absolutely the worst car buying experience I've ever had. The staff is incredibly rude, they never answer the phone, and once they get your money, they couldn't care less about you. I bought a 2012 Ford Focus, and three days after driving it off the lot, the transmission completely failed. On top of that, the back window stopped working too. While cleaning the car, I found a "NOT READY TO SELL" sign hidden under the floor mat. When I brought it up, they claimed it was "routine signage" and that the car was ready to sell - what a joke. I had to argue and threaten legal action just to get them to fix the transmission. They took the car and kept it for two weeks, trying to repair it. The back window remained broken -- they said it was an electrical issue and couldn't figure it out. Once I finally got the car back, the ABS and traction control lights started coming on randomly. I didn't even bother calling them back because I knew it would just turn into another argument. To make things worse, they insisted I still had to make payments on the car during the two weeks they had it, even though I didn't have the car. They promised to credit my account for that time, but surprise -- they never did. A month later, they even tried to disable my car remotely because of a "missed payment" -- which was during the period they were supposedly giving me a credit for. Fast forward 6 months: transmission fails AGAIN. I was told the replacement came with a lifetime warranty, but now they claim it was only a 6-month warranty, and that it had expired at the beginning of the month, not the actual purchase date. Convenient, right? I finally gave up and told them I wanted to return the vehicle. They said they'd pick it up "when they want to" and when I called back, I was told they only pick up cars that they feel are worth it -- and was sarcastically asked, "Did you really think you could get a 2012 and not have any problems?" For context: I'm paying $500/month not including insurance for this absolute lemon. They sold me a junky, unsafe, unreliable vehicle, and then treated me like garbage every step of the way. Avoid InstaCredit AutoMart in Collinsville like the plague. Unprofessional, dishonest, and clearly only in it for the money -- once you sign, you're on your own. This place should not be in business.

In the search for the "Perfect" car I ended up exchanging calls, emails, and texts with nearly 20 dealerships from Florida to Colorado. I feel very fortunate that my search landed me with not just a return call, text, or email... but a return VIDEO directly from Randy with a walk around of the exact Expedition we were looking for and a demo of some of its cool features as well as his contact information to follow up with. Well, not only did Randy have the exact car we wanted at the best price I found after getting many dealer offers... they got me 0% financing and he delivered the car to me on a Sunday with a smile!!! The entire sales process with Randy and Auffenberg Ford was fantastic. If you are the kind of person that usually gets anxiety from the whole car buying experience, do yourself a huge favor and give Randy at Auffenberg a car. He's the guy that you would feel confident to send your mom to if she needed a car. Thank you Randy and team for everything and I may have to give you a call about a Bronco next year. ;)

However, we recently saw an excellent deal on a 2021 Nissan Rogue for our daughter and decided to move forward. We selected the vehicle, met with the finance representative, and completed all necessary paperwork, which we then submitted to our credit union for processing. When the Blue Book value came back lower than the price Auffenberg was requesting, we informed them immediately. Despite this, we were fully prepared to put down an additional payment to cover the difference our credit union would not finance. After nearly ten days of back-and-forth and resolving all concerns, we finally had the check in hand and were ready to complete the purchase. At that point, we were told that another customer was on the lot looking at the very vehicle we had already completed paperwork for, secured financing for, and were prepared to finalize. Shortly after, we learned the car had been sold to that individual. This was incredibly disappointing, unprofessional, and left a very poor impression. Our daughter needed reliable transportation for her internship, and after searching for more than a month, this vehicle was the perfect match, both in features and in price. To have it sold out from under us after we had done everything required was extremely frustrating and disheartening.

I was very very disappointed and ready to find a new dealership, but he went above and beyond in order to make things right. My review went from one star to five stars because of the extent that he went through to make sure I was satisfied I have never had a dealership treat me that nicely before. I am truly amazed. We moved to Illinois less than a year ago and in that time we bought a pick up at Lou Fusz Toyota and I bought a motorcycle at the Kawasaki dealership. I think we found a dealer we're gonna stick with.

I was on a tight timeline, though, and a sales guy from this dealership contacted me on facebook. He had a buyer already that had been searching for this car. Kinda tugged at my heart since I was once that person. He told me they could pay with a certified check when I brought in the car, even with a lien on it. I made two trips out there, to deliver the car and to deliver the title. Both times, no money to me. They told me it could be up to 30 days to get paid. WHAT?! That is a far cry from what I was told initially. He also said "I'll send you a picture with the new buyer" which never came. The paperwork was also filled out at one selling price but then a facebook message that came within a few days had a price $1,000 lower. The finance manager seemed nice over the phone when I called trying to figure out how to get paid for this car that is long gone at this point. He has not called me back. They've literally left me hanging with no direction to me on how to get paid for my car. I have to keep asking and bugging to try to figure it out. I also want to know how much I will end up getting since they seemed to changes the sales price AFTER I went in there and signed paperwork. What a joke. In the future, I will rent a garage or do anything other than having to sell my car to a dealership. My past experiences, even selling privately to a dealer, I was paid right away. This is ridic.
