I have gone to this facility for many basketball games and tournaments over the years. There is not nearly enough parking to accommodate the many games, practices, parties and events that they hold each weekend. As a result, it is extremely unsafe. Many people have to park on the far away road and then walk up the long driveway where there is no sidewalk or path. I have had to walk that long driveway in the snow and in the dark. I'm surprised no pedestrians have been hit or injured yet! There is also a spot at the end of the building's sidewalk that has been covered in ice all winter long. I don't understand why the town zoning allows them to host tournaments and other events without adequate parking. read more

Slippery Sweat Box My son and his team have now had three days of basketball games here. Despite being October the inside has no ventilation. It is super hot and humid. And the court surfaces are slippery. Children during the games are slipping and falling. In my opinion, it is not safe - there is a high potential for injury. Evidently, inSports have never heard of an invention called a dehumidifier. In my opinion, AAU and other sports organizations should not use this place. read more

This place is a flat out embarrassment attempt at humanity... There is no parking nor is there any sense of control to assist cars are parking illegally blocking fire hydrants and handicap zones and faking a limp so that they can get their kids in for a soccer game Or a work out. I cannot begin to describe how many violations of this place should be getting. No shuttle or anything..I would recommend this place to only a compliance committee who needs to enforce some rules You should be ashamed of yourself. So as a compliance officer I said something to the front desk and they did send out an announcement telling everybody to move their cars so I am going to add a star back and give it two :) For the nice lady behind the snack bar and the gentleman at the front desk who served for our country I thank you for that. Really great indoor sports facility - great spot to keep our young athletes in shape during the winter months! Large, convertible fields to accommodate football, lacrosse, soccer - and courts for basketball. Seems to be a good space for children's birthday parties. Apart from this, the facility definitely has room for improvement. I have particular concern about the cleanliness. I have been coming here every Sunday for over 2 months and the restrooms are always in deplorable condition (no soap, flooding toilets, toilets that won't flush, gross items on the floor to name a few) I've mentioned this several times - no changes as of yet. Even worse - I made the mistake of ordering a cheeseburger at their grill. The young men behind the counter DO NOT wear gloves which is amazingly unsanitary! Unacceptable. After seeing him take someone's money then place the burger patty, cheese on the grill with his bare hands I was disgusted. I couldn't bring myself to eat. I made sure to mention this to the front desk but won't be surprised if they continue to serve patrons and children in such unsanitary conditions. All I ask for is gloves! read more

I went here recently for a special event party. This being the first time that I was here, I wasn't sure what to expect based on the reviews. The parking situation wasn't bad atcall early on a Saturday Afternoon, and the bathrooms while not sparkling clean, were not gross by any mesure. The menu was geared towards the younger set. Appetizers included mozzarella sticks, potato skins, french fries and onion rings. Later on salad, chicken fingers, hamburgers and hot dogs were put out. The chicken was crunchy, and had several dipping sauces to choose from. There is a full bar, but no alcohol appears allowed to be served if there are kids present. While I was not in charge of planning this event, I know the ones who did were very happy and felt that there was a good value for the price paid. My only other complaint was that the building was a little warm. That came up in one of the other reviews. It was in the low 80's outside. I would hate to see what it wouls be like with temperatures in the 90's with high humidity. The important thing was that all the kids who attended had a great time and that's what should matter the most. read more

Went to Insports for Soccer program, my kids loved it. Very organized, coaches were fantastic, and my kids had a blast which is the most important. We were offered a free trial to get is in the door but after class we signed up as it was really exceptional experience for my 6 and 9 year old. The facility definitely has a wow factor, very clean, kitchen and front desk were very busy and responsive to helping e get a fresh cup of coffee! The lower field is a full size football field (indoors), they have 3 basketball courts and traditional but state of the art glass boarded field, at the time I was there seemed like youth LAX was playing a game. One of the better indoor sports facilities I've been to in Fairfield County. Parking - 6 of 10 - they have a shuttle that provided useful, Saturday morning had a lot of activity going at facility. Staff - 7 of 10 - Very informative and helpful Food - 7 of 10 - Traditional Bar food but pizza was surprisingly good and coffee was decent Facility - 9 of 10 - I think the only thing missing was showers in bathroom like traditional sports facility. Overall very good, try it for yourself as I read some of these reviews and very unfair. read more

Drove all the way down here to watch CT Roller Derby matches one Friday evening. They had half the court set up for the girls with bleachers set up behind the rope fence, and if you brought a chair, you could sit court side. You paid to get in and there were various vendors selling t-shirts, cupcakes, soaps and lotions, back massages, etc. They also had raffle tickets for the 50/50 and a toss game during intermission which also featured a dance troupe. Brought my chair and was able to catch the action close up as the teams squared off. Around mid game, grabbed a snack from the bar, which has a surprisingly good selection of beer and ordered mozz sticks and french fries from the concessions. This place does not have an adequate cooling system so was quite hot inside despite all the fans. Even when it was cooler outside, it was still hot in the building. There were lots of fans cheering on the teams as they each wracked up points on the scoreboard. It's also a very friendly crowd and kid friendly sport. read more

This place is a disappointment. Every single class/camp I sign my son up for (at least 5) has been cancelled. At some point you need to offer the classes anyway, the kids that enrolled and paid are disappointed. Also, it is such a pain to get refunded the money. read more

They schedule way too much on the same day just to make money. Parking is atrocious and impossible. Certainly a fire hazard and can't possibly comply with town zoning. And they don't monitor their bathrooms- So completely filthy I am sure there is a health hazard in there somewhere. A cleaning crew at night doesn't do any good if The bathrooms Are filthy, have overflowing trash in every stall and all over the wet sink. Toilet paper strewn everywhere. Same for the snack bar, employees were standing around while empty tables were full of garbage.Turns people off during baby/kid sale they want everything to be clean. It's a joke to put cones in front of a fire lane, when the gridlock is so tight that you can't move for 10 minutes because people are stuck waiting for parking spots to clear. If there was ever a fire no fire truck could get in. I asked the guy at information to explain the best way to park and if there was a shuttle and he was dismissive and indifferent and just shrugged it off and rolled his eyes when I said there isn't enough parking here for people to get to the events today. read more
