I found no reviews online regarding this product and put my trust in the personnel working in the Medispa at Spargo. There were four sessions spaced a week apart. Despite following all post-treatment instructions--applying the recommended Factor 5 facial mask to soothe my skin and maintain hydration--I encountered significant problems. Rather than seeing healthier, rejuvenated skin, I developed large red spots and severe dryness after each peel. I was told my face would look so much better after a week or two. The discomfort was substantial, and even with additional application of lotion and Aquaphor, my skin's condition worsened. Makeup failed to conceal the marks and I was told after the 3rd treatment that I needed to do 4 even though I planned on stopping due to the effects on my face. Although Spargo refunded the cost of my final treatment, the damage is more than when I started. I was hoping to get rid of age/sun marks on my face this product was terrible for me.

Once it gets past a certain length, my head is permanently tilted back because of the weight. It also ends up becoming tougher to style. I trust very few stylists with my hair since many of them really don't know how to deal with it. You can't just cut it and style it like "normal' hair... it needs creativity, coaxing, and patience. I decided to book at Ulta because it was close by and have some friends that have used Ulta before and liked it. I was also hoping they would take me at the last minute because I had one of those meltdowns were I just wanted my hair chopped off right then and there. Fortunately when I called they booked me in for the same day with a very cheery sounding stylist. When I arrived, they weren't very busy as I had seen on other Saturdays I had gone in... actually it was really relaxing because it was fairly quiet. Aly was the stylist and I was a bit worried because she is quite young so I wasn't sure how she would deal with my obnoxious mop. For $35 I had a shampoo, cut, and style (she straightened my hair which people normally charge extra for because it takes longer, but she didn't charge extra). That was a pretty good deal! So why the three stars... 1) there are some pieces of hair that didn't really get cut, so they stick out a bit from the rest of the hair and 2) the other ladies (stylists and sales associates) were having a bit of a b*($& fest and gossiping about who was leaving and the new manager. I don't have a problem with those fests, but there is a time and a place for them and on the floor within earshot of customers is not the appropriate time or place. I will give props to Aly for acknowledging it and apologizing to me for it, even though she wasn't participating.
