I had never really considered the application of false nails and the creativity that goes into painting them to be an 'art' until I saw the name of Inspirational Nails. My immediate response was to think that this was a peculiar name for a nail salon, which got me thinking... In some respects, I guess that nail art is akin to tattooing, but that the results are only temporary. Of course, the surface area that nail technicians have to work with is a lot more restricted, but that's not to diminish the skill required. It actually means that they have to really fine-tune their abilities and get really creative around using the tiny area that they work with... so yes, I guess that nail painting is as much an art as tattooing or painting on canvass... although the style is more akin to Pop Art than it is to the classics!
Inspirational Nails offer a full and flexible service, with really reasonable price structures and a high level of service. I haven't used them myself, but a couple of my friends swear by them, and I know that their opinions are to be trusted. read more
