Tacos de Marlin (pictured) Fried corn tortilla filled with "marlin"soy with vegetables, chipotle vegan mayo and purple cabbage. They soy had an odd consistency, mushy texture was terrible. First time ever in TJ and my boyfriend found this vegan spot. They're in a plaza type building with plenty of parking that you have to pay for during certain hours. Place is small but well laid out. Server seemed new as he was a little slow, but maybe that's just how service is in TJ? Food was delicious honestly. No complaints at all. They also had some really good kombucha and fresh juice available that we tried and loved! Everything was flavorful and fresh. Also the prices? Night and day from San Diego lol. So thrilled that they have kombucha! And that they have recycled paper bags for the tortillas. Although I don't know why they don't just serve them on a plate! That would be much more eco-friendly. My mom and my husband finally agreed to come here and they loved it even though my mom is not vegan she was amazed by the "molesa in mole" and loved the place so much that we'll be coming back before she leaves TJ. I had the "carbon burger" and my husband had the classic burger all were delicious. Including our entré "tabla de setas". Definitely a place to impress meat eaters and non believers.
