So I wasn't sure if I should call a cardiologist or Roto-Rooter... I called to schedule a plumber around 4pm and was originally told they wouldn't have anyone available until the 8-10pm slot, which would be charged an additional $75 for an emergency appointment. (I thought "maybe I should have called the cardiologist..") We scheduled the emergency appointment slot and around 4:30pm I got a call that a plumber was available earlier than expected, so we would not be charged the additional emergency fee. Plumber arrived around 5pm and the job was completed in under an hour. He was very knowledgeable, polite, professional, and also resolved my husband's chest pain. The pricing for Roto-Rooter's services leans a bit on the higher end for plumbers in the Fort Wayne area, however Roto-Rooter is the only company offering a warranty for their services; we are happy to pay a little more to have that peace of mind!

They didn't offer or mention a camera inspection. They didn't pump any water out (the initial phone call said they would send the water removal team) AND INSTEAD told me to buy a sump pump and drain the sewage water out into my yard. I had a different company come today, they got straight through with a minor shift in the pipe they had to navigate. And asked why Roto rooter didn't have an expansion cap to put in the clean out. They also offered a free camera inspection.

He said he'd be another week. A repeat again the next week. Finally, he was back in town- another meeting canceled. He texted to say the doors he ordered were cracked and he'd have to reorder - didn't know how long it would take to reorder. On May 22nd, my husband called and calmly gave Don a piece of his mind!! We set up yet another meeting the next evening. Again canceled. Received a text on May 24th that "due to funding & resources, he was removing himself from our job"!! We still have no cabinet doors, drawer covers, crown molding, trim edging or doors with installed shelves, hooks in laundry room & a closet door. Even with a lack of communication, it should be understood that this home is MINE, and does not belong to your inspectors. They are not entitled to come in my home any time just because they were hired by buyers. I did not appreciate that he had no respect for PRIVATE PROPERTY. The inspector allowed the buyers to bring a group of family members in four separate cars into my home. They treated my house like a public facility--using my personal toiletries, towels, and bathrooms without permission. I did not appreciate that no one was told to STAY IN THEIR CAR. How many onlookers does your staff need in an inspection??? I did not appreciate the said unwanted family members scraping their boots on the sidewalk before entering MY CLEAN HOME as if the home was already theirs and they could come and go as they pleased. They were obviously not helping the inspector with anything, they were just at my home to relax and invade my privacy. Most alarmingly, I discovered at 7:00 PM that my refrigerator/freezer had been shut off at the breaker. This level of carelessness could have resulted in significant property damage / food loss. When I was finally able to read the end result inspection list to my home buyers, it was noted that 2 breakers in the kitchen were not working, The inspector, Mark, shut the BREAKER OFF TO THE WHOLE KITCHEN, then requested that a licensed electrician come and fix them. I AM AN ELECTRICIAN. Wow ! Is this how you drive away home buyers ??? With stupidity? I am a licensed IBEW electrician. Would I honestly live here 11 yrs with broken outlets ??? And I really did not appreciate the inspector, Mark Ballge, allowing his clients, the buyers, and added family members, who did NOT OWN MY HOME, to come in and make themselves comfortable, forcing and wasting another extra hour of time into MY heavy schedule. They were not invited by ME into MY HOME and I should have been warned about this set up thru my realtor. Once again, they should have BEEN TOLD TO LEAVE. You have hired DISRESPECTFUL AND INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES; disrespectful to HOME OWNERS, incompetent to home buyers, and I would never use your service or recommend it.
