The cookies were actually fantastic. The 2 star rating is because the staff were incredibly rude to my daughter who was picking up the cookies for her birthday. We had selected 2 party packs with a 8:30pm pickup. Cookies were paid for in advance. We had a long dinner at the restaurant next door and weren't able to pick up the cookies until 9. The worker seemed SO put out by the delay, as if she was planning to throw them away soon or something. So rude, especially when the cookies were paid for already. read more

We were in the area and I had to do some shopping but I needed some calories first, so we walked in to Insomnia Cookies to get a fix, well sort of... I think next time I'll be trying the ice cream, or going somewhere else, because the Double Chocolate Chunk cookie I ordered was the biggest letdown of 2023. When I ordered a cookie at specialty cookie shop I expected to be bedazzled, instead I looked at my friend and said "what's this?". My cookie was very small for a $2.95 cookie, not only that, the flavor didn't at all provoke me to go back and order another one. I honestly could have walked over to Haggen and picked up an entire bag of cookies from their bakery for another $3 and had a far superior cookie experience. The cashier was very friendly, and the customer bathroom was clean. The ice cream looked good, I might try that next time. I'll be going elsewhere for cookies though. read more

Definitely recommend!!! Stopped here at 1am on our way home from working at a wedding in Bellingham. Friendliest workers. Super helpful and nice! First time here trying cookies and ice cream and it was so yummy and exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and will definitely be back to purchase more. Wishing I took home a box now..! I ordered a variety of 300 cookies for a large Christmas holiday 2024 function and the product was fantastic!. Placing a large order was easily done online. Staff reached out to ensure my expectations were met. Online payment was easy. Pickup was a breeze. The cookies were still warm when I delivered them to the very happy recipients. Never again. Walked up to the door with a big computer printed sign saying all the cookies they are currently out of, which consists of half their menu. Not welcoming to begin with. I attempted to order a six pack of a cookie not listed as being sold out, just to be sharply rebuked that "we're out of that cookie. Plus, as a six pack it couldn't be a deluxe cookie either." Super confusing set up, unfriendly service. Skip this place. read more

It was clean and the one worker was very quiet but efficient. We got there about an hour after open and were the only customers. The cookies however were not great. We got a variety and the salted caramel deluxe was almost flavorless and the peanut cookie was the worst of them. All of the cookies we underbaked, very oily, and did not taste good. Even cookies from a can are much better. We also didnt realize till we were already on the road that our order was incorrect. For how expensive these cookies are I was hopeful for a yummy treat but was very disappointed. read more

Let me preface my review with this: I love sugar. From baked goods to sweet tea, my philosophy has always been "The sweter the better." With that in mind, these cookies are just too dang sweet. It was like chewing raw sugar granules. Moreover, our cookies were definitely underbaked. I really appreciate a soft, chewy cookie, but half raw is not appetizing. The kids working at the store were pretty nice, but not very excited about their product. All in all, at the eye popping price point at which they are selling these cookies, I xpected better than store bought, and I was disappointed. Pepperidge Farms sells a better product at 25% of the price. read more

Holy moly! These cookies are so good. I was very impressed with their gluten free/dairy free chocolate chip cookie. I can honestly say it was the best gluten free/dairy free cookie I've ever had in my life! I also ordered a mint chocolate chip cookie which was super yummy, and a mini cookie cake for a birthday. The cookies taste like synthetic crap. Pretty much the same quality as the cookie you would get at KFC or Wendy's. Bland garbage. Even worse, the staff is rude and look like they hate being there. They refuse to take cash. I guess the People's Republic of Bellingham isn't part of the United States, so they don't take US currency. Won't be going back. read more

This place screams franchise. The cookies taste like they were premixed somewhere and shipped in batches to be baked on-site. The people working there do an adequate job, but you can tell it's just a job. I tried a selection and only really liked the brownie and the white chocolate macadamia. Everything is not quite fully cooked, so you get the soft-chewy type of cookie, and it's warm. For the price I had hoped the cookies would taste better, that's not to say they tasted bad, but they weren't anything special. Pepperidge Farm or Nestle Tollhouse tasted just as good or better at half the cost. And though I liked the brownie, it's hard to make a bad brownie, but not too hard to make a really good one - again, it's adequate. Oh, and they sell milk here, I think it was something like a pint for the price of a gallon around the corner at Haggens. read more

5 stars for quick delivery and a really great Peanut Butter Cookie. 1 star for the white chocolate macadamia, it was completely raw, and everything was a bit pricey. 3 stars for the cookies overall-- I think the issue here is that cookies are meant to continue cooking on the pan after being removed from the oven, and you can't really do that with this business model. I'll probably order again when I'm under the influence, but otherwise stick to making my own cookies. read more

The first day I went there I ordered a few cookies, one of them was the Reese's cookie, but they gave me a peanut butter cookie instead. I decided it was fine, it was their first week, I'd get it the next time. But the second time I went there they were all out of the Reese's cookies. read more

i was expecting something more like crumbl but unfortunately these are nothing alike. they're just normal cookies and honestly not very good ones. like taste like the ones in the box from safeway or a grocery store that are "made in store" but taste like chemicals and pure cane sugar. they are also really small for the cheaper ones. two stars because the employee was very sweet. read more

I had heard so much hype about this place, so I went to check it out today. I must say, it was the worst experience I've ever had. The workers that were there were very unprofessional. One worker ate ice cream straight out of the cooler as we were at the register (definitely won't eat their ice cream) that's unsanitary. The one that was helping us was rude, rushed us as if they just wanted us to leave. If y'all want their cookies, I'd suggest delivery. Hopefully it's sanitary when you order them though. Don't get me wrong, Insomnia cookies are good, but getting them at this location? I wouldn't get them ever again read more

Ordered delivery, was excited about the 3 free cookies. Also got ice cream and a deluxe cookie with scoop of ice cream. Was pretty happy with the portion sizes and would say the price is worth the size. Which was my main worry. Only complaint is that the cookies seemed underbaked. They tasted great, and were soft, but so soft they crumbled and fell apart when trying to pick it up. Ice cream was really good but a little melty. No big deal though read more

Stood at the front counter trying to order for way too long a time, when there was 6 employees standing just behind the counter and nobody would come and help us and then finally one of them said, will be right with you and then a few more minutes went by and they finally came and took our order and then when it was time to pay, they don't accept cash .Well not everybody has a card so tell me that my cash money is not good enough to pay for things that I want to buy. I was excited for this place to open so I could try it out and write an honest review. I went in and ordered the cookie-which ice cream sandwich. The girl waiting on me was...idk, having a night I suppose and was admittedly absent minded. Her brain was not on her job. She couldn't count out my change and wasn't aware they had cookies and cream ice cream available.. But beside that point. She gave me my two cookies and a scoop of ice cream on a plate and by the time I walked to my car the ice cream had melted to a liquid mess because the cookies were way too hot. The cookies tasted good but this was just. Not cool. It was not worth the $6 and was poorly executed. I'm not sure why they don't have frozen cookiewich sandwiches available as that's probably a better idea but all in all. This was my first time there and my boyfriend & I loved it! It's a smaller place but we just popped in to get some warm cookies for home! They were delicious, my favorite is the double chocolate chunk. I noticed they also deliver. A huge thing I like is that they're open till 3am! And deliver til then too. They have 3 kinds of vegan cookies. I had the vegan chocolate chunk cookie and vegan double chocolate cookie. I felt safe in the bakery because the young woman helping us had a face mask & gloves on. My husband & I were the only people inside besides the person behind the shielded counter. We got take out. The cookies were so delicious! Oh man was it amazing, got the cardamom coffee to go with a piece of Helva for my little and the Chocolate baklava for me and hubs to split! The server was so nice and made sure to inform me the right way to just sip the coffee as it's not like regular drinking coffee- he asked I preferred sweet coffee and I said yes so he added a little sugar and it was just beautiful! My little demolished the Helva and hubs and I enjoyed our chocolate baklava at the end of a very fun but busy day! The shop it's self is small but beautiful as were the other customers enjoying their coffee made room for my little at the counter to look at all the treats in the case! Can't wait to head back and try some of the other yummy treats they have to offer!

Mom said yes, as I was just asking ... But then she was cut off again w the employee saying have a nice day and walked off . Leaving my mom in the same spot she was in. With no further questions answered . Just rude . No icing on that cake .

They had a selection of gluten free items to eat, including gluten free focaccia which worked out great since my partner is GF. We ordered a variety of food and coffee (latte and gesha pour over) and even bought a bag of gesha beans to make coffee at home because we thought it was so good. Even though it was a Saturday morning (it was super packed) we still found a table to sit at and were able to enjoy everything. We came back a couple of days later, but we missed the food (the kitchen closes at a specific time) so we ended up getting coffee to go. I'd put this place on my list of favorite coffee shops to eat at in PNW!
