I was out with a couple of friends on a Sunday wanting for some cookies when we found out that there was an Insomnia Cookies just down the road. When we walked in with all four of us, the person at the register told us that only two people were allowed in at the same time; understandable. So I stayed in with my other friend while the other two stepped outside. When it was my turn, I asked for the box of cookies which contained 6 cookies of your choice. I first asked for 3 white chocolate macadamia and 3 peanut butter. The person at the register mentioned that they were out of white chocolate. I couldn't hear him the first time so I politely asked if he could repeat what he said. He looked at me as if I were dumb for a three full seconds before he repeated his statement. The mood changed after that, and I started noticing the cashiers attitude. Definitely didn't want to be there even though I treated him with respect. Ordered 6 cookies at midnight. Around 1:30 I called to check on my order and was told it would be on its way within a half hour. Just got a call from the store asking if we still want our order..? They're supposed to deliver until 2:45. I understand if they don't have time to deliver our order, but it would've been nice to know it wasn't coming when I ordered at midnight so I could've gotten some sleep instead of waiting 2.5 hours. read more

We were lured in by the clever name and the fact that they were open till 3 AM for cookie delivery. The cookies were the normal size of a bakery type cookie. The night we went in, the flavors available were chocolate chunk, double chocolate chunk, mint chip, peanut butter chip, snickerdoodle, sugar, white chocolate macadamia, and oatmeal raisin. The specialty cookies were even larger but for more money. There were only three kinds which were another larger chocolate chunk, S'mores, and peanut butter cup. Husband and I picked up three regular to split just to try them. We got the chocolate chunk, the double chocolate chunk, and the peanut butter chip. They were good cookies. There really wasn't anything gourmet about them but if you have a craving for cookies and don't feel like making them yourself they're perfect for just that. They also sell small bottles of milk, if that is your thing, to have cookies with milk. The staff member running the register was nice. read more

Love the cookies here!!! We got delivery twice from this location and enjoyed it both times. The cookies were served warm and the ice cream was good also. I've been to Insomnia Cookies twice on this weekend trip. The cookies are really good, but the ice cream could be creamier.

I waited two hours for my order, which never even went out for delivery. I had to call a customer service call center where they told me the store only had one delivery driver and a ton of orders. I'm giving one star because I ended up just canceling my order. A major disappointment. read more

Cookies are soooo delicious! Warm and flavorful, I can't stop myself from taking another. My favorite is the traditional chocolate chip, but really, they're all very good. We have gone twice this month for their cookies, and each time the service was not so fresh. Not a smile from either employee each time we went. Even when saying it was our first time, not a recommendation or a welcome attitude whatsoever. But obviously it didn't keep us away because the cookies are great! read more

BEWARE - this place is the worst if you're looking for timely delivery. It's actually quite humorous (now) what we had to go through, and guess what still never even received my delivery. I ordered 6 cookies at 12:00 am and decided to have it delivered because we were staying at a hotel less than a mile away.. the website said 25-35 mins, the cookie tracker kept changing delivery time later and later. It's now 1:30 and I decide to call the store to see what the status was on my order. The lady claimed she called the driver and he was in route and would call when he got there, and to call back if I didn't get my order in 30 mins. Well.. you guessed it! It is now 2:05am, I call again. The same last answers and now tells me that the store closed at 1am and she has no way to contact the driver. I stated how that makes no sense because we had just talked at 1:30 and she was able to contact the driver at that time, she then replied that she can give me my cookies at a later date or refund my money. I appreciate the refund I do not appreciate the waste of time/comical/pos service this location is providing. Don't waste your time. read more

I am extremely disappointed and offended by the subpar service of this institution. I went in this afternoon to redeem my pocket points coupon for a buy one get one free cookie and the whole visit was a nightmare. My friend and I walked up to the insomnia store but the store looked like it was closed. We tried the door and it was open.Were very excited to get our cookies. Unfortunately, the store is not accessible due to a step to get into the doorway. I use a wheelchair and physically could not enter into the store. I sat in the doorway while my friend went in. The woman working finally acknowledge us and asked us what we wanted. My friend said we didn't know yet because I couldn't see the cookie options from the doorway. As she began reading the flavors, the woman interrupted her asking if we wanted all of them despite the fact that it was obvious she was reading the flavors to me. Then the woman asked if we could close the door because gnats were getting in. Again, it is obvious that I cannot walk and use a power wheelchair. I explained that there was a step into the store and I could not enter. She said sorry but it did not seem sincere and still seemed annoyed. When we decided which cookies we wanted, we showed the woman our pocket points coupon. She said that they do not accept coupons in store and we would have to order online. The coupon says "Available in-store only". She said she would have to call her manager. Note that the coupon also says that it is accepted at three locations the Washington Avenue store being one of them. While on the phone with her manager she said "the customer says the coupon is in-store only" as though I was making it up even after showing her the exact line where it says in-store only. She continued talking with her manager and I could tell it was going no where. Discouraged, offended, and cookie-less I left the store. The coupon expires after opening it on your phone so I no longer have that coupon to use at a different time or location. I will never patronize this establishment again. read more
