This is my go to place given my primary care is in Fairfax and j live in Ashburn. Fortunately the FNP Leah is here along with the nurses and they are always efficient and take their time checking you out . I have heard other doctors sh that if Leah checked you out then not much to do unless it's something specialized. read more

I really liked Inova Ashburn. I was a little late but Tracy at the front desk was super nice and accommodating and helped get me checked in without a problem. The nurses and Dr. Nguyen were very friendly and I felt comfortable with them and not rushed. They spent the time to get to know me and my history and answer any questions I had about my health. Incompetent front desk staff. She told me she rebooked me to that day and had actually made the appointment two weeks out -useless.

I been going to this Filgree office for coupe of years. Recently service has drooped from 8 to 0. It was never on 10 but i was okay with 8 rating. I been trying to schedule my physical appointment since January 2023. My original appointment for physical was in January which i made in 2022 and now its MAY 2023. I haven't got seen for a physical yet. I have been rescheduled for 9 TIMES already and the next available i got is on June 6th. Every time i get a phone call i tried to explain but no apology. I even tried to change my PCP to get this physical done. I am seriously thinking to change my PCP. read more

The front desk are lazy and never do their job right. I'm going to talk to the supervisor there and make sure they know the front desk didn't do their job. Because of their incompetence I have to pay out of pocket $600. They never sent the new insurance to labcorp so my insurance never received the claim. And now it's too late to even fight for it. That's their job to send over my new insurance. How hard is that?!!! If they did their job right then I wouldn't be in this situation. This is the worst business I've ever seen. I've never seen such unprofessionalism laziness and stupidity all at once here. All thanks to their front desk staff. read more

I am only speaking about one specific doctor, Dr. Neeta Goel. I have spoken with other people who see her and have different interactions with her but for my appointments, she acts more as a therapist than a doctor. I don't think a doctor should be telling me what I need to change about my life like you're my mother. Yes, give advice to help my health, but don't talk condescendingly like I'm a teenager and need to be guided. When it comes to refilling prescriptions....don't even try unless you want the stress and frustration. If I call earlier than the "refill date" it's not okay and I am told to call the day of with the assurance that it will be ready. The reason I call early is because it works with my schedule so I can pick it up, get it out of the way, and drop it off to be refilled on the correct day. Everyone knows that insurance won't let you refill certain prescriptions early. I'm assuming except Dr. Goel. But, when I do call on the "refill date," I have to wait at least 48 hours for her to fill it. Where is the logic in all of this? She is a sweet person, but my experience with doctors my entire life have been different. Maybe it's not what I'm used to and the best thing for me to do is switch. There are just some aspects about the way she practices that I don't agree with. read more

I am extremely disappointed in Dr. Wisner and the staff at this office. The staff is completely inefficient, incompetent and lack empathy for their patients. I chose this office because I needed a primary care physician to prescribe a follow up x-ray for me stemming from a visit I had at an area hospital a month earlier, a nodule was found in my lungs. I've never had this happen to me before and I'm extremely unfamiliar with this process. I saw Dr. Wisner, she was ok but she didn't explain a single thing to me on the process of getting a x-ray. She completely relied on her incompetent staff to explain everything, a big mistake on her part and a detriment on mine. I went out to the staff and all they did was hand me a piece of paper. Dr. Wisner and the nurse on duty stated that once they receive the old and new x-ray image for comparison they will let me know the result. I went to a local radiology imaging center, had the x-ray done and thought that was all I needed to do because they said they would send Dr. Wisner the results. Over a month later, I never received a phone call from Dr. Wisner's office. The only thing I got was a letter from them stating that my current phone number was not viable! When I called them and told them I never received a phone call or a message they didn't seem to care. Instead, the attitude was more them placing the blame on me for not giving them my cell phone number. I DID give them my cell phone number per my first visit!?!? Why wouldn't I??? When I got passed that nonsense, I asked about my x-ray and they said they haven't received the actual images only the written review from the radiology center. The nurse said that Dr. Wisner can not tell me my result because she doesn't have the images. This nurse totally put the hold up on me and pretty much blamed everyone else but themselves. She never once offered a solution to the situation to ease my nerves much less give me any hope for a diagnosis. At this point I'm terrified because I don't know what to do? I decide to call the radiology center and ask if I could pick up the new image and I will go to the hospital and pick up the old image to expedite this process. The gentlemen at the radiology was very kind and told me he had both images and would burn it to a CD for Dr. Wisner to review. I picked up the CD and immediately took it back to INOVA Ashburn. An hour later, I get a phone call and the nurse tells me that Dr. Wisner is not a radiologist and can not tell me the result of the comparison because she is not trained in understanding x-ray images. They commenced on telling me to get the original image from the hospital because they still didn't have it. At that moment, I knew they were lying and never looked at the CD. I called the radiology image center and they told me that they would make an appointment for me to speak to one of their doctors so at least I would get an answer and put my mind at ease. At no time did Dr. Wisner or the staff at INOVA Ashburn ever told me that I could have my x-ray results given to me by the doctors at the radiology center. I thought that they were just filling the prescription for an x-ray. This small detail could have saved me a huge headache, time, and unnecessary stress. read more

Dr.Goel has been my doctor for 2 years now. I think she is just excellent! She is thorough and takes her time in addressing my concerns. Her bedside manner is excellent and I never feel like my appointment is rushed. Other doctors I have been to seem to rush through my appointment to get to the next patient, but with Dr. Goel I always feel like my questions have been addressed. The nurses there are great too. Sarah assist the doctor and I feel very comfortable with her. She's very kind and also very thorough in addressing my concerns. She has promptly returned my calls when I have had concerns and needed to speak with a nurse. The front desk ladies are always very helpful when I schedule my appointments. They take there time to review my chart and make sure that my appointments are booked accordingly. They are very friendly and always greet me with a smile. The technician who does my blood draws is very sweet. I expressed today that I was afraid of the needle and she was accurate and quick which made the experience a piece of cake thankfully. I have referred several patients to them and they have also had very good experiences at this practice. I will continue to refer friends and family to them as I am always satisfied. Horrible. After deciding to draw blood, I waited in the room for half an hour before someone came in. I could hear the staff asking each other whether someone had drawn my blood. Then the nurse goes through my vein (I know this because when I got home, my arm had a welt). And finally, I checked my file online to find out I needed a prescription which I started that day. One week later, Inova calls to say I need a prescription. I told them I already started and they said good thing I checked for myself. Totally unprofessional across the board except for the attending physician, who was visiting. I've already looked at where to go next time so I can avoid this place!! read more
