Jill is the best! My eyebrows had been microbladed a few years ago (somewhere else) and I hated them because they were way too dark. Jill preformed the saline removal on them, and I'm super happy with the results- they're blond again, and I feel more like "me". I also kept in mind it does take a few sessions, but it was worth it. I recently got my eye brows re-touched by this beautiful semi-permanent make up artist Jill! I had mine previously done about a year and half ago. The hair strokes had faded and the color had definitely changed. But thanks to Jill's amazing microblading skills, she covered up my previous tattoo with fresh new strokes! Jill is an awesome person. Great personality. She does a great job doing eyebrows. She will tell you what color and shape she recommends for your face shape. It's good to do some research before you go so you can show her what you like and don't like. The process does not hurt. Jill puts numbing cream and reapplies throughout the process. It may sting the second time she applies a little just because it is a fresh cut but it's bearable. The blading itself just feels like tugging. Kind of like a tac across the skin. Minimal pain if any at all. Then you just have to wait for the healing process. Keep your eyebrows dry, don't pick at them. They will likely scab. Let them scab and fall off on their own. I really really wanted to love my brows. I think Jill is fantastic on a personal level. On a professional level, not so much, solely based on her work done. I feel the cost of her service is on the higher side and to have not been able to get the archived look of " I woke up like this brows." It was very very disappointing. For a few months I contemplated on expressing my disappointment with her but I felt, why on earth would I even give someone a second chance to mess up. In a business of beauty we consumers do want something close to perfection. And I will say I was extremely laid back and never once critiqued her outlines or position of the brows drawn. I'm a firm believer of trusting the professionals to do what they do. Once you get the micro blading done which turned out looking more like a shaded in technique and not so much of hair stroke you cant turn back, you are stuck with them. I can't fix or conceal them since the pigmentation she used is too dark for my skin tone. Now I have to pay to have this removed. Being Asian, I don't have a full set of brows or full long lashes. So I've done some research on how to get my brows looking fuller. My mom and sister both have their brows tattooed so the idea of getting mine done has always been at the back of my head. I read about this studio on Yelp and I decided to call to discuss some pricing and maybe get a consultation. I didn't know that it was a privately owned studio by Jill (the nicest, most professional person ever). As soon as Jill answered my call, I could tell that she was sincere, accommodating and took her time to explain everything, she didn't rush me off of the phone like most people do. I believe she was off the day that I called but she met me at her studio after dropping off her daughter to give me a consultation and discuss any questions I might've had. I LOVE MY EYEBROWS! I turned 60 last year and after years of plucking, my eyebrows were a tiny thin line. Jill took her time explaining the process and let me know everything she was doing with every step she took. I felt really comfortable trusting Jill's judgement in selecting the brow shape and brow color. The process was not very painful; the numbing cream helped. From start to finish it took about 3 1/2 hours. At first the brow color looked too dark but Jill was right...after a few weeks the brow color lightened and now it's the prefect color.
