This review is longgg overdue…read more I'm a snowbird in Tucson. And having trained with an excellent trainer in Seattle, I wanted to do something more challenging and *different*. Thanks to the great Yelp reviews I found Patricia. Patricia was offering the 12 week transformation, where you go from flab to fab, but that's not what interested me. It was her personal gym which is filled to the brim with excellent equipment for every body part (and some body parts you never knew existed - OUCH! ;) Patricia also had accompanying meal plans and supplements. Since I started with the supplements and meal plans, I've not had the excrutiating post-workout muscle pain that prevents me from getting off the floor after 12 hip thrusters (the pain is *real*, ladies!) Drinking a gallon of water a day also really helps. Thanks to Patricia's, egg whites, Isopure Whey Protein, supplements and are part of my forever meal plan, as boring as they sound. I've changed the macros of my diet, though if I really want to do the total body transformation like some of the awesome ladies whose pictures are posted on the "wall of fame" I have to reduce my fat intake to a level where I feel that life isn't worth living anymore. Like all programs, Patricia's transformation is what we make of it. In the meantime, I've stayed the same weight as when I started the program, but just the other day I deadlifted 150lbs! (Though with a hex bar.) At Lowe's, I loaded my cart with about 200lbs worth of edging stone, while another guy gaped at me. Yes, and that's the other thing - Patricia's gym is mainly female-centric, so that we ladies can feel safe and empowered to reach our utmost abilty. I really enjoyed my time training with Patricia and appreciated how accessible she was, even outside of our training sessions. And I'm looking forward to going back to Tucson and starting back up with her again.

They dont sterilize the dumbbells or floors in the free weight…read more Ive brought up to their superiors at the front desk, but the janitors never clean up the dumbell area, under the seats, you can see endless gross dust. They blame the rubber mats and tell me they just blow under the rack. It smells like rotting flesh, they refuse to do anything about it. Ive never complained on this app ever, but it's disgusting how much the employees dont care about their gym's hygiene. The young janitor is great, but thats not his cleaning area according to management, their night janitor is not being properly informed. Its been 2 months now before I decided to post this as its only gotten worse. You can see so much dust and years of filth on lat pull down machines near the seating, barbell seat areas, mats aren't cleaned near the squat racks. Management just smiles and nods their heads and just focuses on getting the monthly schedule done each month.

I'm a lifelong regular gym rat with a hankering for group conditioning classes, and this place done knocked me silly. Front door staff was friendly and welcoming, and more importantly, the coach was outstanding when it came to keeping a keen eye on my form and correcting when necessary. The smallish space was equipped with bikes, ski machines, balls, bells and all the whistles that were needed to send me home an absolute mess. Just a note, they weren't big on stretching, so plan on doing that on your own. I haven't penned a review in quite some time, mainly because I'm rarely wowed. When I walked out of this place, I immediately thought, "These guys deserve a five star, stat."

I do most of my work in the morning and I will try to make a 11:15 am till 1pm. Not what I expected from the Ymca facililty's, for lap swimming, oh well i guess i need to start looking for lap pools and more hours with my 1 pass medicare. City pools just starting charging $2 for lap swimming, only. you can go wade in the family side for free.
