TL;DR: Happy with our experience…read more I'm always nervous about projects around the house and the people we hire to do the projects. My husband and I met with a few different bathroom remodeling companies to change out our uneven shower stall that pooled a lot of water to the side of the shower and therefore didn't drain. We decided to go with Rodney at Full Circle Kitchen & Bath. We were able to schedule an appointment for an estimate for the same day that we called him. When he arrived, he gave us a flat base price for the shower stall and the labor, and then told us how much the extra shelving, seat, and grab bar we wanted would cost on top of the base price. Once we called Rodney to tell him we wanted to move forward with the project, he sent us a contract to review via email within about a day. After we reviewed the contract and agreed to it, he visited our house again to sign the contract, collect the downpayment for supplies and re-measure the shower stall. Rodney uses Sentrel products for the showers he installs including the showers he installed at his own house. He ordered the Sentrel shower stall and other accessories and once those arrived, he called to schedule installation for that same week. Rodney is eager to start working early in the morning at 7am. He only works on one project at a time and doesn't split his time between clients, so there aren't half-finished projects that sit for days or weeks at a time when you hire him. He works weekends as well as weekdays. Rodney is prompt to answer questions via email and phone. My husband and I stayed home while Rodney and his assistant worked on the shower stall. They covered the carpet so it wouldn't get dirty or damaged. Rodney is a serious worker that strives to do a good job. He told us every time he was going to shut the water off and for how long it would be off, so we could prepare for that. He called us over to look at any strange house issues that would interrupt the progress and to get our opinions about how to proceed. We had a very uneven floor, floor joists too spaced apart, waterpipes that were coming up through the shower floor instead of behind the wall, and a giant hole carved out of one of the floor beams for the drainpipe. The new shower handle was defective and leaking, so Rodney put in a temporary handle for us to use the shower until the company sends a replacement that he can swap out. Also, he showed us how to change the handle ourselves if at some point in the future we decide that we want a new handle or need a new cartridge. Additionally, the previous owners had put up tile around the old shower stall on the walls that we wanted to keep if possible. Rodney was able to save that for us. Rodney also uses the expensive silicone sealant so there shouldn't be mold growth and we shouldn't have to re-caulk. He used Pex pipes to replace the copper pipes that were coming in at weird angles. We haven't used the shower yet as we're waiting for the sealant to dry completely, but I'm feeling good about the experience we had and am glad we hired Rodney.

He has great communication skills and is very knowledgeable, respectful, and pleasant to work with. He visited our home every day that construction took place. He coordinated the cabinet delivery, dumpster delivery and pickup; there were no surprises and NO COST OVERRUNS. Gihan was the gentlemen who did most of the work in our kitchen; he is very professional, detail oriented, and a perfectionist. He always gave us choices, made suggestions in a respectful polite manner. His work ethic is incredible, and he really enjoys his work. Gihan is mild-mannered and easy to work with. At the end of everyday Gihan or his assistants cleaned up the work area and vacuumed the area. Gihan let us know when he would arrive and when he was leaving. I cannot give this team enough praise. Jackie designed the new kitchen and did an incredible job of taking an old dated small space and making it more functional and much more attractive. She is creative and thinks outside the box which is refreshing. I am very pleased and appreciative for all of the hard work and professionalism from this company. I highly recommend them for any kitchen work that you need done. Another company gave us a quote, but we did not care for their demeanor, the design plan was less than impressive, and the price was outrageous. Kitchen and Bath is the company to hire if you want things done professionally, on time, and value honest, dependable, ethical business practices. Thank you, Noah, and team. Debbie Kliche

My wife and I recently hired Progress Kitchen and Bath for a full master bathroom renovation in our…read morethree-story condo, which included a full Schluter waterproofing system, floor-to-ceiling porcelain tiles, and a new double vanity. While we are absolutely thrilled with the final look, there were a few minor bumps along the way that kept it from being a perfect 5-star experience. Here is the breakdown of our project: Design & Prep with Helen Huff Helen was fantastic from day one. We brought her inspiration photos of the aesthetic we were going for, and she immediately pulled porcelain tiles that perfectly matched and refined our vision. She offered creative layout solutions for the double vanity, the shower, and the niche. Throughout the material selection process, she was patient, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable, even providing us with websites to browse on our own time. A massive bonus: Helen went above and beyond to ensure I had all the specific documentation my insurance company needed to process a related claim. Project Management with Justin Bici Justin was a stellar project manager. We were initially quoted 15-25 business days, but the team finished ahead of schedule in just 10 business days. Justin visited the site almost every day to ensure the job was on track, and he was incredibly responsive to all of my texts and calls. Every timeline he provided was met exactly as promised, and he offered a lot of great insight based on his experience. Even when the vanity sub-contractors did a mediocre job on the caulking, Justin informed me he would remediate the issue and would schedule someone to come out and fix it. Albert & the Crew & Technical Execution The technical execution of the shower itself is top-notch. The crew manager Albert clearly had years of experience and knew exactly how to handle and properly install the Schluter waterproofing system. The precision of the porcelain installation is beautiful--the cuts and edges are incredibly clean and precise. Seeing that floor-to-ceiling tile go up and the double vanity finally set in place was easily the absolute best moment of the project! Areas for Improvement (Why 4 Stars) Because our master suite is on the third floor, the crew stored their materials in our bedroom. While this made logical sense so they didn't have to carry things up and down the stairs constantly, we wish they had been more cautious. Unfortunately, we found a couple of chips in my wife's makeup vanity from materials being moved in and out of the room. Additionally, the post-renovation cleanup was lacking. We expected the floors to be restored to their pre-renovation condition, but we found scuffs on the floor that couldn't easily be removed with regular soap and water. The Verdict Helen, Justin, Albert and the tile crew delivered a beautiful, high-end bathroom. The design, project management, and tile expertise were exceptional. If the crew had been just a bit more careful with our personal furniture and the final site cleanup, this would be an easy 5 stars. I still highly recommend Progress Kitchen and Bath.

We met with multiple contractors and recieved multiple quotes, they were not the lowest price but we felt like they offered a better all around option. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Sunrise Kitchens Baths and Closets. It's important to note that the majority of this company's positive reviews are from previous ownership. Since the business was sold in September 2024, many of the employees referenced by name in those reviews are no longer with the company, which provides important context for prospective customers. My kitchen project was plagued by serious issues from start to finish and ultimately dragged on for 13 months, despite being promised a fully functioning kitchen completed within a few weeks. Despite being promised a "streamlined" and professionally managed project, that is not what I experienced. There was a clear lack of consistent project management throughout the renovation. Over the course of the project, I worked with at least five different individuals who were identified as managing my project, which is supported by written communication and documentation. For the majority of the project, no project manager came to my home to oversee work. Project management oversight did not occur until the final month, after DPOR became involved. Prior to that, subcontractors/employees were frequently sent to my home without clear direction and often asked me what they were there to do. Work was performed that was not included in my contract, and afterward I was demanded thousands of dollars for this non-contracted work. No clear or itemized breakdown was ever provided explaining what was done, why it was done, or why it was supposedly required. I never agreed to this work, never approved it through signed change orders, and never consented to the additional cost. Despite this, the company refused to move forward or complete the project unless this unapproved payment was made, effectively holding the project hostage over charges I never agreed to. After two mediations, the company ultimately agreed that I did not owe payment for one of the change orders because the HVAC work in question should never have been done. That work involved replacing ductwork that had already been replaced earlier that year by another company and was still under warranty. In addition, changes were made to cabinetry without my consent, again with no signed change orders. Additional HVAC work was completed without a permit and was not up to code. After personally contacting a city inspector, the company was required to redo the work and have it reinspected. Documentation -- including proof of purchase, warranties, and permits -- was repeatedly requested and never fully provided. Due to the seriousness of these issues, I filed a formal complaint with DPOR (Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation). Following their investigation, the company was found to be in violation of regulations. What made this experience especially frustrating was the lack of transparency, poor communication, and unwillingness to fix mistakes. A kitchen renovation is a major financial and emotional investment, and this company did not treat it with the care or professionalism it deserves. I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to look closely at the timing of the reviews, ask detailed questions, and ensure everything is clearly defined and signed in writing before proceeding.
