Target review Alpine…read more You would think as busy as this store is they might hire some help. Sigh, yet again, shelves empty, no one around. Ghost town except the 2 massive lines to check out. Then again, now that Target is branded racist nobody wants to go. First off, not hiring under the guise of criminal background checks, now they try to use bare minimum letting 2 employees watch whole store. Why is it so hard to have someone find a product listed in stock? Isn't that what you pay them for? Saw a manager disappear into what looked like bathroom, only to be told there wasnt any manager on duty. I guess then it was a random man they allowed anywhere. Any store is better. Target cant charge more for inferior everything. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Lee & Birch is such a wonderful store! They are boutiquey without being horribly over-priced, and…read moreare always on trend. The denim selection is full of great brands that you know are quality and will hold up. Off the top of my head I know they carry (or have in the past) Hudson, Paige, and Spanx. The shoes are mostly Sorels, which always stand up incredibly well to our rough Michigan winters. Pro-tip: there is usually a Sorel trunk show or two every year, and special discounts offered for trunk shows and fashion shows! They have 4 locations: Grand Rapids, Rockford, Grand Haven, and Kalamazoo. Their website has inventory from all locations. Various events are held at each location as well. Kalamazoo is the newest, but it looked like they had a huge sidewalk sale this year. Grand Rapids hosts a great fashion show every [normal] year with other partnering local businesses and restaurants, drink tickets, a live DJ, and tons of great raffle prizes. I've also attended smaller versions of the fashion show at the Grand Haven and Rockford locations and they are so much fun! With the shut downs this year and social distancing in play they've adapted the sales and fashion shows to virtual events, which have still been surprisingly fun! They are interactive, have swag bags if you reach a certain $ order amount, and they still do giveaways by asking fun and simple questions. I think there have been 4 this year; the sale on the most recent one was insane!! At first glance the prices might seem high. That's partly due to the quality of the brands they carry. But they also run sales along with the fashion shows and occasionally throughout the year. Rewards can be earned on your account when you spend a certain amount, plus birthday discounts. And their accessories are actually very reasonably priced as well for the quality. I love this store! The Rockford location is my favorite (and closest). The shop is so cute, it's easy enough to shop around and see everything, and the stylists are all so helpful and friendly. Definitely check them out if you haven't already. Support Local!!

I honestly feel like I could wear (and would want to wear) just about anything in the shop. They have everything from the super trendy styles to a more classic piece, all very tasteful. In addition to clothing, they offer accessories, bags, candles, shoes, and water bottles. Their price point varies so i feel there are options for everyone; some very affordable pieces to more high end. The girls that work here are super friendly and helpful, without being pushy. The store is clean and super cozy. They do not accept returns, just in-store credit or exchanges. They have a website, also! Can't say enough good things about this place!

We came in to Meijer specifically for something my husband needed for the car and I decided to peruse the book section. I ended up grabbing the "Bluey Fruit Bat" book for my niece since I recently bought her a fruit bat plushie. I happened upon a Detroit Lions football display, which I looked through to see if there was anything my dad may like. We checked out quickly and the employees that assisted us were super helpful. Before heading out I did use the restrooms, which were clean.

I love shopping at Meijer for the convenience factor that they have everything. This location,…read morehowever, has some serious flaws. First, getting in and out of the parking lot is a total nightmare. With just the one way in and out on 10 Mile it feels like you're driving into a crater. Yes, you can make the argument that there is the second entrance by the Taco Bell, but since you have to pass the Spectrum and the Assisted Living there is still quite a bit of back-up from that entrance. And although it's not their fault, its really frustrating that people cut through the parking lot from all over the place, so those of us that park further out are at risk of getting hit by the people cutting across instead of using the designated paths. Second, if you want produce don't shop here on Mondays. I like to do my shopping on Monday to prepare for the week, but the produce section is completely bare. It's possible that everyone shops on Sunday and wipes out the section, but otherwise it's just a poor delivery schedule. I've also seen a lot of already expired mushrooms, already moldy berries, and plenty of wilted veggies. The biggest saving grace of this location is the staff at the deli. Every time I've shopped for lunch meat and cheese at the deli here the staff has been so pleasant! They never make you feel like you are inconveniencing them, don't act annoyed when you are getting more than one thing, and they double check the thickness of the cuts they are making for you. I really appreciate the great service from them! Unfortunately this is the closest Meijer to my house, and the deli staff alone is not enough to make this my store of choice. I've started shopping elsewhere the majority of the time.
