Owner of company came to my house to make contract. I told him that price too high. He promised me that their windows much better than windows from another company. ALSO, HE PROMISSED IF I'M NOT GOING TO BE SATISFIED, HE RETURNED MY MONEY WITHOUT ANY QUESTIONS. After installations I determined that windows are not closing completely and leaking air. A few times he sent workers to fix. It was working a few days as normal and again stop close completely. Finaly, I determined by myself that windows have design problem. I was requesting my money back. He refused and not answering on my messages. So don't trust that company at all. They are not keeping their promises. And just simply dishonest people.

CUSTOMER BEWARE: There are no negative reviews on google…read morebecause they bribe customers into removing their negative reviews by offering money off. They wouldn't have this high of a rating - and I definitely wouldn't have hired them if the reviews were a reflection of what it is like to actually work with this company. It's been an over a month and they are still calling me to try to bully me into removing my review. I had to block them. Update 5.24.26 - our deck is peeling and needs to be completely redone. Hiring this company was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made as a homeowner. They didn't show up when they said they would -- multiple times. Not only did they fail to arrive as promised, they also didn't bother to call and let me know. I rearranged my schedule and even took two full days off work so I could be home for them to complete tasks that required my presence, and they didn't even do the work. That alone shows a complete lack of respect for their customers' time. When they finally did show up, the quality of the work was horrendous. Instead of taking the time to tape off or remove hardware from our deck, they just painted right over it. They left paint on my windows, killed plants, and left overspray on multiple surfaces that should never have been touched. To make matters worse, the product they used on the deck allows the natural knots in the wood to bleed through, leaving the finished result looking blotchy, unfinished, and downright atrocious. I've had to call them back several times to fix sloppy mistakes, yet issues still aren't resolved. Their crews clearly rush, cut corners, and show no pride in their work. Customer service has been dismissive, unprofessional, and completely unwilling to take real responsibility. After all of this, their idea of compensation was a measly $200 credit for the damage and disruption -- an insulting gesture compared to the cost, stress, and time I've lost. This company lacks professionalism, accountability, and basic respect for customers. If you value your time, your property, and your sanity, do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs.

Fantastic Company!! I recently had them do work on my roof, porch and install a sump pump…read more They went out of their way to make sure I had the correct type of roof on a low pitch part of my roof. When Mike and Lee saw the condition of the roof boards after removing the shingles they switched to "peel and stick" roll roofing. This caused extra work and expense for them because other materials had already been delivered, but they wanted to make sure my roof was done the right way. The roof looks great! Steve, Dino and his crew did a great job on the porch and the sump pump. The porch looks so much better now that it is level and the cracks are filled in. The water does not all run towards the house and into the crawl space. I really appreciate the extra effort to get the sump pump deeper. The only access was a small opening inside a bedroom closet. I know how much more difficult it made the work because they had to dig in a small confined area and they were digging into wet clay. It is so much nicer and safer with the discharge pipe relocated to the other side of the house instead of running across in front the gate. Now I can simply go into the closet to start the pump. I used to have to go outside and bring a hose in through a window before pumping water out of the crawl space. Everyone was so friendly, polite and professional. This is a great company to deal with and the work was excellent!! I will definitely call them again and will recommend them to everyone I know.

We couldn't be happier with our experience with McGlinch and Sons Co.! From our very first…read moreconversation to the completion of a major exterior transformation, this company exceeded our expectations in every possible way. Our project included replacing our wood siding with James Hardie siding, replacing our brick with Eldorado stacked stone, replacing our wood deck with Trex, and installing a new front door. The transformation of our home is incredible, and the quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are exceptional. Our first contact was with Ross, our salesperson, and he immediately set the tone for the entire experience. Ross was extremely knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and--most importantly--there was absolutely no pressure. We never felt like we were being "sold" something. Instead, we felt like we were working with someone who genuinely wanted to help us make the right decisions for our home. Then there was Travis, our Project Manager, who was outstanding throughout the entire process. He was always available to answer our questions, kept us informed, and never once made us feel like we were a bother. No matter how many questions we had, Travis was patient, responsive, and incredibly helpful. What really impressed us, though, was the level of personal attention from the ownership. One of the owners, Ryan McGlinch, actually came out to our home himself to measure the door frame for our new front door. He then took the time to go through our entire project with me in detail. He knew exactly what we were having done, understood the details of the project, and made me feel as though I was his only customer. That level of personal involvement is remarkable and says a lot about the kind of company McGlinch and Sons Co. is. The finished product is beautiful, but just as important to us was the experience getting there. McGlinch and Sons Co. exceeded our expectations in every arena--from sales and communication to project management, craftsmanship, and ownership involvement. We absolutely love our new exterior and would recommend McGlinch and Sons Co. without hesitation. If you're looking for a company that stands behind its reputation, genuinely cares about its customers, and delivers an exceptional finished product, look no further. Five stars all the way!

Roof, gutters and Hardie siding. Final job by subcontractors overall good. It's a lot of work for a…read morehomeowner, yet we solicited several bids to ensure competitive pricing. The journey and process to get to agreement, then completion, painful too often. And completion of details difficult. Thus a C+, B- rating. I wish that I had all good things to say and writing this critique was unnecessary. Some of several aggravations. The roof was completed in a day by many Mexican immigrants. Project included installing roof vents. The vent tubes were not attached at the fans -- Despite assurances from the supervisor that it was definitely done. NO THEY WERE NOT. Thus required request and debate with the company for follow-up. Their service man came and said he completed. NO THEY WERE NOT. A year later, condensation formed on the ceiling. Requiring repeat call, visit. We received assurances that the third time they were now properly connected. This is the most basic of very important work. I do not understand. Not difficult to do - for someone with reasonable skills and honest effort. The siding took 3 months. The workers tried to complete a lot of work on the final day. They left the porch filthy and muddy. Final Hardie plank trim that was not properly painted by Hardie. Not done by McGlinch. Requiring me to paint. They did not properly reinstall flood lights. The contract agreement required increasing soffit ventilation. Despite following up 5 times, to my verification, completion unverified. Disappointing. It can be a challenging world. Our hope was a fourth generation company would have made things far easier and that we were in good hands, we could have relied on them and they were looking out for us. Their own quality assurance. Is that too much to ask.

The bathroom is small and increasing the size was not an option, so we weren't sure that "rearranging" the space would get us the bigger shower that we were hoping for, but Aimee (the designer) came out and took measurements and later presented us with a layout that would accomplish our goal. The finished product not only provides us with a bigger shower but it is absolutely gorgeous. There were some "hiccups" along the way, some major and some lesser so, but Aimee and Lauren (the scheduler) were reassuring and professional, and every issue was addressed. The crew always arrived when scheduled and, because of their professionalism and thoughtfulness we were not inconvenienced anywhere near as much as might be expected when you are living in the home during a construction project. I would definitely recommend Newmyer Kitchen and Bath to our friends and neighbors.
