I got my notice for jury duty and began calling in daily to see if my group number was needed. Day…read morethree I was to report. I parked in the stadium lot P1 like the notice says. There's plenty of signs telling jurors where to park. I can't believe how many people parked in the wrong place and had to move their car. The summons has the lot address, everyone has a phone. Google it if you're not sure. I was able to check in outside online while waiting for the doors to open. A Sheriff instructed everyone to remove anything metal from their body before going through the metal detector. So many people didn't and this held up the line a bit. These are probably the same people that parked in the wrong lot. Once in the Juror room on the 3rd floor I took a Juror badge and took a seat. They had goodie bags, bottle water, coffee, and pastries since it was Jurors Appreciation Week. Before the orientation videos several judges look time from their courtroom to come to the jury assembly room to show their appreciation. Senator Umberg was also there. It was nice to see all these people. It was a slow day. Not many courtrooms needed jurors. My name wasn't called. Many of us were let go earlier than expected.

If you're reading these reviews for the jury duty information, ignore the suggestion to get there…read moreat 7:00 AM - the building doesn't open to the public until 7:30, so you'll just have to sit outside waiting. The rest of the info is spot on and will give you a good idea of what to expect. Pay attention to the number of groups that are told to report at the same time you are. When I went only about 10 groups were told to report, and the assembly room was mostly empty, making it easy to get one of the seats with a power strip. But we were told that on a busy day with lots of groups reporting there can be standing room only. Oh, and if you're tempted to take some photos and post them here, they explicitly told us that no photography was allowed withing the courthouse building. Be careful! :)

Mr. Brent Sets the Standard…read more I had the privilege of interacting with Mr. Brent at Lamoreaux, and he is a true example of professionalism and respect in a court setting. He has a rare ability to clearly explain standard procedures so that members of the public can understand what to expect, all while remaining fully within the limits of his official role. In a place where the process can often feel intimidating, Mr. Brent communicates with patience and clarity, ensuring that everyone feels heard and respected. His demeanor reflects the highest standards of public service - courteous, knowledgeable, and professional at every step. Every courthouse would benefit from having someone like Mr. Brent. He demonstrates that it is possible to uphold the rules and responsibilities of the court while also making the experience approachable and understandable for the public. To Supervising Judge Palafox - Mr. Brent's service is exemplary and deserving of recognition. His commitment to professionalism and his respectful approach make him an outstanding asset to Lamoreaux.

My experience with this courthouse has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. The justice…read moresystem here feels completely disorganized, and it seems that many employees are not properly informed about the procedures or the paperwork they are responsible for assisting people with. I was repeatedly sent back and forth between the Self-Help Center and the seventh floor. I would go to one department, be told to go somewhere else, receive little or no useful information, and then be sent back to where I started. On top of that, I was given conflicting information about the paperwork I needed to file and how it needed to be served. To make matters worse, some employees give you nasty looks and treat you as if you are stupid for asking questions or being confused. How are people supposed to know what to do when the employees themselves are providing inconsistent information? At one point, an employee removed a single document from my filing packet, handed it back to me, and told me that I needed to serve that document separately to the other party. This was extremely confusing because the document was supposed to be included with the packet being filed. Situations like this create unnecessary delays and force people to repeatedly go back and forth just to get basic instructions. What is even more concerning is that I am not the only person experiencing this. Almost everyone I have spoken with inside the courthouse has expressed the same frustrations: nothing gets done, everything is delayed, and people are receiving misinformation. When multiple people are independently describing the same experience, that should be taken seriously. This is unacceptable for a government institution that is supposed to provide access to justice. People come to the courthouse because they are already dealing with stressful and often extremely serious legal matters. They should not have to spend hours being sent from floor to floor, receiving contradictory instructions, being treated disrespectfully, or worrying that their case will be delayed because they were given incorrect information. The courthouse needs better training, communication, accountability, and a system that actually helps people navigate the legal process. People deserve accurate information, respectful treatment, and timely processing--especially when their families, finances, safety, and futures may depend on it. To make matters worse than what they already are they DO NOT WILL NOT ANSWER THE PHONE ! Why put a phone number if you people will not answer the phone or simply do YOUR JOB!

In both matters, the cases were directed to mediation rather than being heard in the manner I had expected. In my most recent experience, his manner toward both the respondent and me felt condescending, and I felt that self-represented parties were not treated with the same level of respect I would expect from the court. In an earlier matter involving my daughter, I personally heard Commissioner Mondo refer to what had happened to her as 'water under the bridge' in the presence of the person from whom we were seeking protection. I have never forgotten that comment. I felt it minimized what my daughter had experienced at precisely the moment we were asking the court for help. I also did not understand until after my recent hearing the distinction between appearing before a commissioner and stipulating to a commissioner acting as a temporary judge. Self-represented litigants may not realize there can be important procedural distinctions. If your case is assigned to a commissioner, I recommend asking the clerk what authority the commissioner will be exercising in your particular matter and whether you have the option to have the matter heard by a judge. Based on my two experiences, if given the option, I would personally request a judge.

It was mailed in 2015 so I did not know if the order was even real! The primary date of the order was April 1, 2016...April Fools Day. The (judicial officer) of Glenn Mondo was mentioned on the paperwork. It probably was a fake to put me in fear. I was in FEAR of these terrible people. I was the one being attacked, a white biological female alone, by the perps/demons with direct energy weapons, Remote Neural Monitoring and only God knows what else! I love Christ Jesus too and they knew it. I was being tortured every single day, all day. 24/7. The tumult of iniquity (Psalm 64) was killing me and I was begging God for protection, not to mention numerous agencies, police. Only now in November 2024 am I able to start putting things together. There are judicial names rubber stamped on the "order" with a scribble for a name, so it does not look real. Different dates and names that do not jive. Glenn Mondo, ALAN CARLSON, M. SUCHY and J. WHITSON-RAUSCH. This has happened to me before, numerous times, and all they do is LIE when confronted with evidence, the proof to their lies and crimes. I need God Himself to help me, save me.
