There's plenty of signs telling jurors where to park. I can't believe how many people parked in the wrong place and had to move their car. The summons has the lot address, everyone has a phone. Google it if you're not sure. I was able to check in outside online while waiting for the doors to open. A Sheriff instructed everyone to remove anything metal from their body before going through the metal detector. So many people didn't and this held up the line a bit. These are probably the same people that parked in the wrong lot. Once in the Juror room on the 3rd floor I took a Juror badge and took a seat. They had goodie bags, bottle water, coffee, and pastries since it was Jurors Appreciation Week. Before the orientation videos several judges look time from their courtroom to come to the jury assembly room to show their appreciation. Senator Umberg was also there. It was nice to see all these people. It was a slow day. Not many courtrooms needed jurors. My name wasn't called. Many of us were let go earlier than expected.

The rest of the info is spot on and will give you a good idea of what to expect. Pay attention to the number of groups that are told to report at the same time you are. When I went only about 10 groups were told to report, and the assembly room was mostly empty, making it easy to get one of the seats with a power strip. But we were told that on a busy day with lots of groups reporting there can be standing room only. Oh, and if you're tempted to take some photos and post them here, they explicitly told us that no photography was allowed withing the courthouse building. Be careful! :)

I filled out a form online first and when I showed up I checked in via a kiosk and was in and out of the place in 5 min! There is plenty of free parking as well. My experience with this courthouse has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. The justice…read moresystem here feels completely disorganized, and it seems that many employees are not properly informed about the procedures or the paperwork they are responsible for assisting people with. I was repeatedly sent back and forth between the Self-Help Center and the seventh floor. I would go to one department, be told to go somewhere else, receive little or no useful information, and then be sent back to where I started. On top of that, I was given conflicting information about the paperwork I needed to file and how it needed to be served. To make matters worse, some employees give you nasty looks and treat you as if you are stupid for asking questions or being confused. How are people supposed to know what to do when the employees themselves are providing inconsistent information? At one point, an employee removed a single document from my filing packet, handed it back to me, and told me that I needed to serve that document separately to the other party. This was extremely confusing because the document was supposed to be included with the packet being filed. Situations like this create unnecessary delays and force people to repeatedly go back and forth just to get basic instructions. What is even more concerning is that I am not the only person experiencing this. Almost everyone I have spoken with inside the courthouse has expressed the same frustrations: nothing gets done, everything is delayed, and people are receiving misinformation. When multiple people are independently describing the same experience, that should be taken seriously. This is unacceptable for a government institution that is supposed to provide access to justice. People come to the courthouse because they are already dealing with stressful and often extremely serious legal matters. They should not have to spend hours being sent from floor to floor, receiving contradictory instructions, being treated disrespectfully, or worrying that their case will be delayed because they were given incorrect information. The courthouse needs better training, communication, accountability, and a system that actually helps people navigate the legal process. People deserve accurate information, respectful treatment, and timely processing--especially when their families, finances, safety, and futures may depend on it. To make matters worse than what they already are they DO NOT WILL NOT ANSWER THE PHONE ! Why put a phone number if you people will not answer the phone or simply do YOUR JOB!

We need a real and timely justice! We need need a change！ I firstly complain Whitecotton Law and the suceeders for their wrongly practice in cheating the Courts at this center, misleading a recent hearing on "Reserved Issues" of Child Custody/visitations after the Stipulation Judgment in July 2025. Further, those "Counsels" have been frequently rotated nearly 1~2 month(s), sponsoring Petitioner's continued ALIENATING and misused my minor child, damaging my child's best interest. They even conducted perjury of lying at the hearings on Child Custody, July 28, 2025 and recent TRO, July 1 2026. As such, they intentionally misled and distorted the father's qualification and distorted the father's entitled rights for child custody/visitations. Secondly, complaint is for the individual department at this center which has long wrangled this process attempting to block child (14 years old) to see her father and block Joint Custody that is the best interests of the child, in connection with the case # 14D004101 at Lamoreaux Justice Center, Orange county, CA. In July 2025， they started painting a wrong picture and fabricated that Respondent had not seen his minor daughter for 10 years since she was two years old, which is not true. Then soon at beginning of July, 2026, they accused/forced a TRO, citing the father sent graduation gifts to her daughter who just graduated from a middle school, blocking all my visitations without any proven evidence! The state of California favors joint custody arrangements since they serve the best interests of the child, allowing both parents to share responsibilities. This father is highly qualified for his custody with a Ph.D degree and was a well-know tenured professor in a State University of this country, while she is newly immigrated here, barely taking a minimum wage work. Petitioner has unlawfully even blocked my minor child's personal freedom, basic human right and her right to love and be loved (by her father). The residence neighbors told that they has never seen my daughter playing in the court yard or with other kids. Petitioner recklessly blocks the child from meeting and communicating with child's father, conducted terrible ALIENATING, even in major holidays, such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year! She has attempted to block a Joint Custody. However, the court has done so little and so late to make a correction! Since May 2017 and during the recent hearing on Reserved Issues of Child Custody, the related department at this center significantly down played the Official Joint Investigation by specifically appointed Legal Authorities (team of CMPD, CAST, and SSW Orange County). The investigation and official report has already completely dismissed Petitioner fabricated allegation as early as in April-May 2017 (See attached report): This case in 2017 of "child abuse" as Petitioner fabricated was completely " UNFOUNDED", is fabricated and it therefore dismissed. 1) Official joint Investigation by a legal authority team has concluded that this case is "UNFOUNDED" and case "CLOSED" 2) Official joint Investigation by a legal authority team of CMPD, CAST Orange County, and SSW Orange County has concluded that: This case is "UNFOUNDED" and case "CLOSED". 3) The Officier says: "I spoke with Doe's mother, Liu, after the interview and I explained that Doe did not describe anything similar to what she (Liu) told Ofer. Molina in the initial investigation... On June 14, 2017, the L53 (John FLynn III) even used the FAKE PAPER by a fake Ph.D to DOWN PLAY the Orang County AUTHORIZED INVESTIGATION and CONCLUSION. He then wrongfully issued a terrible 5-year RO with no visitations with the child, without giving any established evidence. This RO badly hurt my minor child's interest of receiving both parenting care, while John Flynn even failed to give out any proven evidence or any "Statement of Decision" as Respondent requested on June 23 2017. The state of California favors joint parental caring, regular visitation, and joint custody arrangements, since they serve the best interests of the child. The said legal individual was a state employee, but terribly abused the bench power to abuse my minor child for nearly 9 years, violated the State's guideline/policy, violated basic constitutional law, violated human right and civilization, and completely violates the moral standards of our society. They even rudely blocked the visitation/communications for 8 years which is against basic human rights. Someone here just utilized the divorce litigation and this court place promoting personal conflicted interests! A big thank you to Richard at the counter for being so friendly, helpful, and efficient. The entire process went very smoothly, and everything was completed in about 20 minutes. Starting June 12, 2026, I officially became a California Notary Public for a four-year term! A quick note for anyone visiting: parking can be a little challenging. Richard mentioned there is a free parking lot behind the building, but I wasn't sure which one he meant, so I decided not to risk it and parked elsewhere.
