I really like this salon because it's very clean, and seems to run very efficiently overall. I'd like to give special recognition to Susan and Haylie because they always seem to greet each and every customer with a smile. They are very knowledgeable about each machine and what its function is as well. I referred a friend and Haylie was very thorough on explaining all the benefits and features of the machines. Susan also was very helpful with a complaint. I had from another salon in another city and she was able to get it resolved for me. In addition, they both always make sure the customer has what they need or suggest other things for them to try. They also always let me know about any specials that are going on or suggest new products to try. Keep up the good work girls and I will always refer people to your location.

rewriting my review from google to yelp since it was removed:(…read more i had originally found out about san diego spray tanning through tik tok. they had made a post offering a 50% promotion on services for their new location opening in oceanside. i've never had a professional tan but i have a really special event for this weekend. i reached out wondering if i were to get a tan within the dates of the promotion if it will still look good for the event. i was told that they would still honor the promotion for me and i was ecstatic! the communication wasn't really there but i really wanted this done, i had to reach out a few times to get an appointment confirmed. we come to an appointment for 10/8 @ 2 pm. @ 11am my appointment was cancelled due to car troubles but i was more than understanding, and was told that my service would be complimentary. i reached out to confirm the following day and was never responded to or followed through, or just any simple communication. i even drove from san marcos and stayed in the area hoping id get a response. i'm sad that i didn't even get to experience the service, and that i had prepped the night prior for said tan when i could have just been told my appointment would be cancelled and i could have done my self care a day closer to my event instead of moving it around for this tan. i just would've appreciated more follow through and communication and heartbroken that i was let down for such an important event of mine :( just a waste of my time and so unprofessional! i'm not an unreasonable person, i was willing to pay for the service i never asked for the complimentary service and i just feel so led on and still upset about it since it was such a big milestone for me.

Their post, as well as their website, boasts claims of their "Vitamin D Sundbed" is a 'good source of vitamin D'...although this may 'technically' be true, even if a patient is Vitamin D deficient they can be prescribed a supplement by a MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. My comment offered that insight. My comment said This "Vitamin D Sunbed" should not be considered as contributing to 'wellness' in any way as they claim. I stated that these beds ARE tanning beds and that tanning beds DO CAUSE SKIN CANCER. They responded by DELETING my comment and BLOCKING my IG account. In spite of me trying email the owner to make them aware, the owner admitted to being the one who deleted my comment and blocked me. He also proceeded to try to tell me HOW I GOT MY SKIN CANCER and condescendingly dismissed my concerns. What he didn't realize was that by that time, there were 2 other skin cancer survivors that tried to comment, whom also had their comments deleted and their accounts blocked. Additionally over the course of this last week I have come to find out that it is common practice for them to LIE to clients about this. I was told that they are instructing their salespeople to tell clients that their "Vitamin D Sunbeds" are NOT tanning beds, when they ARE. One client even ASKED if they were 'tanning beds' and she was told 'no' so she hesitantly acquiesced to submitting herself, UNKNOWINGLY to a tanning bed. Knowing that this is actively happening to people I love and care about, let alone the active deception, I cannot stay silent. A business claiming '...Light & Wellness' while SILENCING the voices of FIRST HAND CANCER SURVIVORS for speaking truth, is a business I will never support. The lives of the next generation could be CUT SHORT for your marketing ploy, and that is a cost I will never be comfortable with. I will never support a business that meets the suffering of fellow human beings and sees it fit to try to erase it in the name of business and gain.
