If you're looking at which allergist to go to for immunotherapy, I highly recommend this place…read more I was looking for RUSH therapy (9 hours of shots) to speed up the process, but not a lot of local allergists did that. Dr. Rihal recommended cluster shot therapy which is less heavy on the immune system. I almost went to Kelsey Seybold fort bend for shots and I'm glad I didn't. Kelsey Seybold: -No skin test if you have dermatographia. Used a limited 19 panel blood test even though there's a bigger panel for blood tests. (Not as accurate, showed I was more allergic to dogs than cats even though I have severe cat allergies and I have no symptoms with my pet dog). -prescribed me epi-pen, famotidine, otc meds, and prednisone. -wait 30mins after shot. -compete for parking every time. And I end up not parking close. -inflexible schedule and you have to go to a far campus for cluster therapy at 8am and schedule a month in advance. They also don't do cluster therapy very often (not very experienced). West Houston Allergy: -Could do a skin test even with dermatographia (prescribed prednisone) (more accurate results) -less medication used. Prescribed me prednisone and otc medications. -wait 20 mins after shot -Parking in Richmond location is easy and quick to find a close one. -flexible schedule. Cluster shots can be done in any location. Can schedule in the next week. Overall, I'm glad I went with Dr. Rihal for immunotherapy shots.

Beware Being charged with routine preventive health blood work…read more I have been visiting Kelsey FB location for almost 20 years and their services used to be excellent and professional, until 2024. I disputed the unexpected $160+ out of pocket ( in which I paid despite I disagreed in order to avoid going to collection and impact my credit ) Comp. Blood work for my annual exam ( which was the same test that PCP ordered every year). Upon months of getting on calls with Kelsey and my insurance ( and email communication with documentation that showed the blood work done in 2024 was identical to the standard annual blood work in the past), it boiled down to "billing codes" that Kelsey submitted to my insurance. To complicate the matter, I had to switch 3 PCPs in 3 years due to 1 doctor's retirement and other attrition. While I believe the medical teams are still professional and attentive ( per my last interaction in 2024), the experience in working with their back-office and administrative staff leaves room for improvement.

I recommend trying to schedule ahead as he typically is booked, but I have been able to make same day appointments which has been a huge relief for me. The location is pretty nice for me as well since it is not in a busy area so I can always get to and from the office without having to deal with tons of traffic. This office has ample parking and the other offices in this complex also offer services that I might be interested in too. The office for West Houston ENT & Sleep Center is very clean nice seating area and always a great selection of music playing while you wait. This place could get 10 stars if I was able to!

However, I explained to them that my ear felt really uncomfortable and they immediately squeezed me in for the next day. Major plus! I was in and out of my appointment really quick - which really surprised me. Dr. Ludwick is very knowledgeable, efficient and has great bedside manners. My experience was fast, effective, and any follow up questions that I had, were able to be addressed through calling. I'm glad I came here despite all the negative reviews.
