Came in randomly to get my hair trimmed. Unfortunately, I had started new medication that has completely made my hair fragile and break too much. A young woman named Irene was kind. She was able to squeeze me in before her next appointment. Although I was a walk-in, she made me feel welcome. She gave me the cutest bob cut that made my hair look nice and refreshed. Instead of it, looking thin and weighed down, I am so thankful to Miss Irene. If you're in the area, Call ahead and try to make an appointment. $55 for a haircut. I've been here a total of 5 times. I was there back in July to cut mine and my daughters hair and even bought some products for my hair that the lady requested would help with my dry hair. Back in July we paid $45 for our haircuts which wasn't bad and even previous times i believe we paid $35. So I liked this spot because affordability and I was happy with how long our hair grew within 6 months so I went back yesterday for a haircut for my daughter. And she said since it was our first time and her hair was long ( her hair was mid back) she's charging us $55 at first I chalked up to prices are going up, hurt my pocket but it is what is. Mind you this is just a haircut no blowout or styling or anything. Then she basically starts rambling and saying I would charge you cheaper but since it's your first time we have to charge this much but if you keep coming I'll charge you cheaper. I told her I was there back in July and that's when her demeanor changed knowing she messed up. Admitting you're over charging someone is never good for business. I paid the 55 dollars and left knowing I wouldn't be back anymore. I highly don't recommend this place anymore. Overcharging people and then admitting to overcharging them considering I've been here a few times left such a bad taste that I no longer want to give them my business nor do I think anyone else should fall for this scam. read more

I been to a lot of shops this one beats the cake I need a hair cut and bairds done, I called and made and appointment with they're styles ruth she got really down working on my bairds and giving me a nice cut for my hair. Highly recommended going too, Ruth has her bairds down good just need to talk to her and she will work with your hair design. The shop is very clean and they make you feel real clean like your read to take on the town. I had been going to Innovations in Whittier for a long while, as has had my brothers. It took me a long time to find a stylist that I could trust to trim my mane and groom my beard. I was very lucky to have found Delia. You see I am a big fella and we grow hair fast and wild, but she had the patience and skill to frame my face and make me look my best each and every time. I was bummed to find out she was no longer at Whittier, but so happy to find out she did not go far. Delia is a genuine, caring, artistic, and skilled stylist and person. So it came to no surprise that I took my wife, who got a botched pixie cut to get it saved by Delia. Now styling and cutting short hair is hard enough, but using just scissors, Delia worked her magic and made my wife look amazing as she always is. It is different hair stylist now. They don't really work with women's hair. They do more of mens so if your a girl i suggest to look elsewhere. My hair rn is not so good and i took my sister and mom there and all of us came out very disappointed. Stylists are very nice but you pay for the work. Great hair salon. They don't try to upswell you or do something you don't want. Most recently they fixed my hair that I messed up myself with a botched bleaching. They were professional and quick. A shout out to Irene who fixed my weirdly bleached hair. The prices are also reasonable and I've always left happy. read more

I showed her a picture of the way I wanted to cut my hair and she did it! I really loved how she cut my hair. I'm very picky with cutting my hair and I cut my hair every 8 months or so.
