This pharmacy has been nothing but frustrating and unprofessional to deal with. I submitted a refill request and was contacted, only to be told that because I pay my doctor directly for the medication, my doctor had to contact the pharmacy instead. I immediately reached out to my doctor and then called the pharmacy back, but what should have been simple turned into a nightmare. I was bounced around between four different people including patient services, accounts, and others before finally being transferred to a pharmacist after over 30 minutes of wasted time. The lack of communication and organization is pure incompetence. The pharmacist told me my prescription would ship by September 3rd. However, when I called today to confirm, I was again given the runaround, transferred multiple times, and eventually told without anyone reaching out to me or my doctor that my prescription was supposedly filled incorrectly by my doctor. This makes no sense, especially since they previously told me it was a partial fill. Even my doctor was confused by their explanation. It is the pharmacist's responsibility to contact the doctor if there is an issue with a prescription. Instead, they failed to do so and did not notify me, leaving me stuck chasing answers and wasting time. This pharmacy clearly has no regard for patients' time or health. The communication is terrible, the staff is uncoordinated, and important information is not relayed properly. I will be looking for another pharmacy that actually values patients and knows how to handle prescriptions responsibly. read more

My experience with this place has been subpar to say the least. My latest issue with them began when I called them to check on my refill. I was told they did but it was incorrect. They told me they sent a message to my doctor's office asking him to approve the inclusion of B12 with Semiglutide as this was the new guidelines per the FDA. I reached out to my doctor's office and asked them if they received the paperwork and they said they did but were confused as there were several pages of jargon that wasn't clear. They reached out to Innovation and could not get anyone for several days. Once they finally got in touch with them they completed the paperwork per the instructions they were given by innovation. I then called innovation again asking if they received the updated paperwork and was told the paperwork was missing the rationale. So I drove to my Doctor's office because I was so aggravated because it was there paperwork that was causing the issues. Once again they provided the rationale and faxed the updated paperwork. I called to see if they received the updated paperwork and they said yes but the dosage wasn't clear. I know this wasn't true because I had a copy of the paperwork that was sent and everything was completed per there instructions. At that point they put me on with a pharmacist who told me that it looks like they whited out the dosage and they would call them to confirm the dose. Once again I called my doctor's office and asked them to send the paperwork again and they did. I then called innovation and they said they received everything they needed and I made the payment and was told I would receive my medication in seven days. I called innovation to see why I didn't receive my medication and they put me on hold to go ask the pharmacy. Then a pharmacist said that the paperwork wasn't clear And I needed to get in touch with my doctors office and have them call them, At this point I realized I was not going to get my medication from this place and they were completely incompetent and not taking any responsibility for this mess they created . It is never the customers job to do the legwork. I called and spoke with a rude representative who kept talking over me but gave me an extension for me to have my doctor call the pharmacist. I told her I wanted to cancel my refill and get a refund. That's when she said ok. A supervisor will call you. I'm not sure why but I suspected she would try to talk me out of it. The supervisor called and tried to blame my doctor for not including the rationale. I told her there were several updates since then, which tells me they don't keep good records. I told her I'm no longer interested in doing business with them and want to cancel my refill and receive my full payment back. She assured me I would. This is day two and no communication from them and no payment. It took minutes to take my money so why does it take over a day to cancel my refill? Disappointed customer. read more

My initial impression of this Pharmacy has changed . It could be because of the amount Overwhelming response to their Covid vaccine availability. I was called by one of their schedulers that I had cleared the waitlist, I asked him if I could take my second Covid vaccine shot earlier than the schedule date that was closer to +30 days She said yes just as long as it was within the 24 to 28 day window. Which it was I called to verify the day before my appointment,I had asked if the cold weather had prevented there delivery of Covid vaccine and if it would affect my appointment the next day. The staff person that responded no just come in your appointment is confirmed. When I called the next morning to confirm again to see if anything has changed, the pharmacy staff said that I was NOT on the schedule to receive my second Covid vaccine. I asked her to look on the waitlist schedule but she said only one person had this waitlist schedule. I asked to speak to a manager and they said the only person that knows if any changes are waitlist people have been added is the "vaccinated "I did and left a message with the fascinator and it has been a couple days and I have not heard back ! I can see if things have changed and maybe they ran out of vaccine due to the cold weather preventing shipment but I can't Understand that a confirmed appointment was somehow "missing" read more

I have been getting a compounded prescription from this pharmacy for four years now and only once has my medication not run out. They will tell you it takes 3 to 5 days to fill your prescription - but that is false. I ordered my refill on March 13 and it is April 1 and it is still not ready and I have been without my prescription for seven days. I called and was told that my prescription was compounded on March 18 but yet here it is April 1 - I called and was told that my prescription was compounded on March 18 but yet here it is a April 1 and no pharmacist has "checked it" This pharmacy sucks. read more

Visited this pharmacy for the first time yesterday. Interior / Exterior This place was very hard for me to find. I was traveling from Marietta (north on Cobb Pkwy) and for some reason, my navigation had me turn left on Pine Mountain Court ... then right on Pine Mountain Way ... then left on Pine Mountain Rd. Almost immediately after I turned left on to Pine Mountain Rd, it announced that I'd arrived at my location. I was next to bunch of trees. I made a U-turn and turned left into the parking lot I'd just passed, but it turned out to be the Masjid Suffah mosque. I drove around for 20 minutes before I actually found the pharmacy. If you turn left on Pine Mountain Rd, they're a few feet ahead on the right. The sign at the street will say Cedar Creek Professional Center. There's plenty of parking. The interior is pretty barebones. It's mainly filled with boxes and packaging materials. Keep in mind, it's not a pharmacy WITH a sterile compounding pharmacy inside. It's solely a pharmacy & compounding pharmacy so there's no OTC meds, DME, snacks or tchotchkes. Price / Value Unsure how they compare to other pharmacies with regards to pricing because they're the only local pharmacy (I'm aware of) that compounds the injectable my Dr. prescribed. There is a significant discount for purchasing 3 months upfront, but since I wasn't certain how well I'll do / if I can tolerate it, I went with one month for now. Customer Service I saw all the previous reviews and about how hard they are to reach on the phone - and I gotta say - it's true. They are EXTREMELY hard to reach on the phone. When I was driving around panicking that they were going to close before I located them - I called 3 times to ask for help finding the building and could not get anyone to answer the phone. When I arrived, the receptionist wasn't on the phone - she was sitting at the desk - and I was still on hold - so I'm not sure what that was about. I think the people who answer the phones are in the back and there's a sign 'Now Hiring,' so I guess they're really short-staffed and that contributes to the phone answering issues. The voicemail greeting is also insanely long - and the option to speak to a patient care representative is listed AFTER the option to share your info for text updates. And it's the same # / option - so the greeting seems a bit convoluted. Before I ever visited, I got a phone call from them to collect payment. I told them I wanted to speak to my prescribing physician and I would call back in a few days. Each day, I got an automated call reminding me that I had an Rx there. But here's what's weird: the Rx wasn't even ready. The woman I'd spoken to said it would take 4 - 6 weeks after collecting my payment, for me to receive the Rx. And if I picked it up (versus shipping), it would be roughly 4 - 6 days. She was kinda snippy. And when I called back to pay, I spoke to another woman who was a little condescending and she kept interrupting me / not truly listening to me - so it made the conversation take WAY longer than it should have. So the automated system calling daily to remind a person that there's a Rx that's been called in, even once you talked to a staff member ... that seems like a bit much. I think the overall ordering process / system needs some tweaking. Despite all that, once I arrived and got my Rx, I asked if I could speak to someone about the Rx and that's when my customer service experience completely changed. Adam (the pharmacist on duty that day) was so patient and kind. He explained how I'd need to 'pinch an inch' at the '3pm or 9pm positions,' two or three inches away from my navel. He explained the importance of cleaning the vial's rubber stopper (the sternum) and my tummy, using the provided alcohol swabs, before injecting myself. That reminds me, the receptionist gave me my vial in sealed plastic mailer, but she neglected to give me syringes or alcohol pads, so if I hadn't asked to speak to Adam, I would have driven all the way back to Marietta without the necessary supplies and since they're closed on Sat & Sun, I would have had to wait to drive all the way back on Monday to pick everything up. And this is about a 35 minute drive (NOT counting the time I wasted looking for the building - lol). Once I arrived home, I discovered that they provide you with a handy dandy 'cheat sheet' with instructions / tips for administering a subcutaneous injection / injection to adipose tissue. Adam took the time to speak to me about the various mechanisms of action of this particular compound and he was super encouraging. He also gave me their new email address and told me to be sure to call with any questions. He's the reason I'm giving these folks 5 stars. Overall Overall, I think the phone tree / greeting needs some work and the people manning the phones could stand to be a little bit more patient / empathetic. read more

My initial prescription was transmitted to Innovation Compounding Pharmacy on 9/27. On 10/3 and 10/6 I received robotype calls from the business. The first time I left a message which promised a callback within 24 hours. The second robocall timed out after a 5 minute wait, which again directed me to the same voice mail where I left a second message. In the meantime, I messaged the pharmacy through their online portal. My provider even verified that my prescription was received. On 10/8 I was robocalled again but actually got to talk to a person who verified information and collected payment. She advised that the processing time would be 3-5 business days with overnight arrival. As of 10/18, I still do not have my medication. This would be less of an issue if there was some kind of communication on the part of the pharmacy or if there were a more prudent means to reach them. At this point, I will attempt to get my money back and contact my provider to fill the prescription locally. Update: the day after I posted this, I was able to reach the pharmacy and received my medication, which I was then informed had been back ordered, within 3 days. I am hopeful this company can find a way to improve their communication with their customers. read more

The products have been the highest quality and I just frankly can't shop around for lower prices because I know it is a waste of my time. Their products are what they say they are. The customer service at Innovation Compounding is beyond frustrating. Each time I need a refill, I go through the same cycle. I will receive a text asking me to call them in order to complete the refill. When I call, I am given the option of waiting on hold or leaving a message. I opt to wait on hold, hoping to talk to someone and proceed with the refill. But, each time I am on hold for 5 minutes it will automatically kick me over to a voice messaging system. I had a new prescription called in 9 days ago. I took my last pill of my old prescription today. I did not receive an email that my medicine had been shipped so I called all day from 9 AM to 4:51 PM multiple times. I left two voicemails , one on the patient line as well as the pharmacist's line. As has happened multiple times today, after being on hold for six minutes, the voicemail gave me no choice except to leave a message because no one picked up. This is unacceptable customer service for any business, it's especially concerning for a healthcare oriented business. I understand the need to be more efficient and use technology. However, things happen in the real world where one does not always have access to the Internet. One should always be able to get a human being on the phone in any business associated with healthcare. They appear to regard patents as an annoyance instead of the sole reason for their existence. Don't expect any help from this company's customer service. The 1-800 number will NEVER lead you to a human being. If you leave a message, they will call you back on a number which filters as SPAM. So no communication is possible. Their automated messaging system is so vague, you have to call to find out what it means. Is my refill coming? Can't find out, so wait two weeks to see. If you saw my review 5 days ago, please read this As it turns out, there was a miscommunication. Innovation Compounding started calling me and emailing me first thing in the morning when they opened. They were very apologetic and provided a thorough explanation for me and my questions! 1. This pharmacy DOES have automatic refills, you have to request to be on the list! That's all. 2. The take up to 3-5 days to compound certain prescriptions. No matter how long their pharmacists are there and no matter how many there are, compounding medication is NO joke! 3. Call them about a week before your refill and provide them with the date you need it by. This will give them a time frame so you know what to expect as well. 4. Since these medications are made onsite they can only compound so many at once. I was completely unaware of these factors. But after one of the pharmacists reached out to me, Tara (who is one of the sweetest people ever), she helped answer all of my questions while apologizing repetitively. And trust me, she's the bomb. The first time I came in she immediately answered any questions I had about my medication (LDN, which is not a common medication). She was able to explain to me how EXACTLY the medicine works and what to expect from it. This medicine by far exceeded so many of my expectations Innovative Compounding puts a lot of work to making your medicine so it's important that you put in some work to by either staying current on your refills (5 days out) or making sure you can be added to their automated refills. Another great thing that I love about this pharmacy is their large arrangement of probiotics, Vitamin B, probiotics, Diet Support, B12, and so many more. I specifically took the diet support, since I had gained 10 pounds and only took the medicine 3 days (I used the meds as directed) but it helped me lose all the weight. Keep in mind that this pharmacy truly does care about their patients as one of the pharmacists remembered me by name, what I did with my life (I'm a student in nursing school), as well as all the complications I have with medicine after speaking to her once. And that speaks wonders. If you have problems that need to be addressed with them, I advise you to contact them so that way they can help take care of the issue or even just clear the air. Miscommunications happen way more in medicine than most healthcare providers would like to admit. So it's important to ask questions, discuss issues with a staff member, and more to prevent further miscommunications. No compounding pharmacy has a quicker turn around than Innovation Compounds. read more

This compounding pharmacy is full of friendly people but when it comes to dispensing prescriptions I have been disappointed on several occasions. They have kept me waiting when I was told the prescription would be ready. They have delayed refills when my doctor had already authorized refills. It seems like their computer system is always giving them problems. They carry Ortho molecular supplements OTC but you can get better prices elsewhere. What really ruined things for me was when the mailed someone else's prescription to me. I'm looking for a better compounding pharmacy. This one is an under performer. read more
