Firstly, I was successful in losing weight with this program. Nothing has worked for me in over 5 years and after 2.5 months of services, I lost 15 lbs. I utilized the weight loss program at the Acworth location. Therefore this review is specific to this location. The aesthetics of the location is modern and sterile. The patient coordinators are welcoming. They add a personal touch by remembering your name and paying attention to scheduling details. Daisy Sanchez, a medical assistant, is very personable, and professional. My initial visit was with Kristin Peterson, the Health Director. She is wonderful and funny. She provided much-needed insight and made me feel confident in pursuing services with Bubolo Medical. This experience wouldn't be successful for me if it wasn't for Karen McBroom. She was consistent, eclectic and positive. She provided valuable information and coached me along the way. She is amazing!!! Overall, it was a positive experience. I am being intentional about the staff I noted. Other staff members did not present or project such positive, polite or respectful characteristics. I would most definitely recommend Bubolo Medical services. FYI: For patients with kids, this business was accommodating. I have seen some patients with their children on occasion. read more

I went in on a referral to a specific provider, thinking I would be discussing a plan to address my health issues with knowledgeable medical staff. I found myself in a sales environment, discussing my women's health issues with a man who was using sales techniques to sell me on a membership and medications. Not what I was looking for at all. I drive 45 minutes each way to see the Bubolo Team every week. I've been with them since January 2024 (almost a year) and have lost over 50lbs. I'm 48 female and struggle with all things mid-life. I've done both hormone therapy in conjunction with their weight loss injections. I have been stuck for years. And this combo def worked for me. I feel so much better. My initial visit had a rough start. I waited for 30 minutes for someone to ask me why I was waiting and then there was confusion about my information. I had confirmed via text and phone that I would be at the appointment. It wasn't until I told them I was leaving and it was unacceptable that I had been waiting for so long that someone helped me. I need to preface this review by saying that I never EVER leave reviews...but I feel truly compelled here. I've read every review on Yelp for Bubolo, and while I've only been a patient for a month (and lost 19 pounds so far) I can tell anyone interested that these people are NOT all about the money. Every time I come in, the staff are genuinely and honestly happy to see me. They take the time to talk to you, ask questions, find out how you're doing, adjust things as needed. I let them know that I stopped taking all the supplements the first week because I felt I was just taking way too many pills. They explained the importance of the supplements and asked if gummies would be ok? I said yes, they gave them to me, and I asked how much? Free. I was straight up told that they didn't care, take them. I needed more of the phentermine, here ya go. Because I was so skeptical of the whole thing, I worked with them and they put me on a 3 month payment plan. Not once have I thought that they've been in it just to collect off of me. The semaglutide injections will absolutely make you halt the mouth stuffing that a lot of us who ended up here tend to do. The math is simple, and for me I burned about 2050 calories a day sitting down, and they cut my caloric intake down to 800 the first month, then 1000 going forward for the next two. I haven't been going to the gym yet, but that's on my plan for this month. Again, the numbers are simple...you HAVE to cut the caloric intake and increase your activity if you want to lose weight. Take the medical out of it, that's a universal truth. If you can't cut out the sugar, if you can't cut out the huge meals...then it'll never change. These folks care, and the weekly visits have become something that I don't dread but look forward to. I trust them, and I genuinely believe that they have my best interest at heart. If they do for me, a total stranger before walking in the door, they will for you too...I'm sure of it. =) read more

At one time, in the beginning, they were friendly and caring staff with appearances of truly wanting what is best for their patients. That has since changed. The staff is comprised of glorified sales people who must work on commission because all they do is aggressively attempt to upcharge and sell more things. They hand out medication without regard of what your actual health is. In my case my vitamin B numbers were excessively high. But they wanted to continue injecting me with B12. When I asked to speak to the doctor about that he didn't want to talk about it and told me to go to my PCP. Their technicians are not trained to answer any questions and in general have poor customer service skills. At one time, I had success on their program and recommended them to friends and family. Now I question their integrity and ethics and warn people to stay away. read more

I do not recommend. I didn't reach my goal and they didn't really care. I only lost weight with the Wegovy injections. Once those stopped and I didn't lose any more weight, I paid another $500 for 4 more shots. My goal was 45 pounds. I lost about 20. There is no follow-up. For the first time ever I followed the plan. I took the supplements, I followed the calorie guidelines, I cut out sugar. They didn't even bother with the "after" picture. A very expensive process that didn't work and only as long as I'm willing to spend more money will they even be interested in me. I haven't heard a word from them read more

I started using Bubulo last year, the staff was very friendly upfront and made me feel like I was part of the family. They then Started offering more services which I expected- well upon receiving the pellet treatment, I lost my entire lower body shape, my face broke out to the point where I did not know what was happening! I advised them that I travel and meet with folks all the time and how embarrassing this was and they gave me a prescription which still doesn't work! I am Now out of more money due to the misrepresentation or lack of information given. The only positive thing about Bubolo is one nice young lady who was always so friendly when I went in to get B-12 and made me feel comfortable, the rest of the staff didn't even know my name just smiled when I paid for more services! The doctor is Acworth never once explained anything, just sat behind the desk and checked paperwork-waited for my card to process and sent me on my way. I would never refer anyone I care about to this facility.
