They come out quarterly to treat the property for insects and help prevent infestations, and their service has always been outstanding. Recently, I discovered that my roofing company had done a terrible job on a previous repair, leaving a massive opening that allowed rats to enter my home. Multiple companies came out to investigate, and not a single one could figure out exactly where the rodents were getting in. Then Nick and his associate showed up. Within TEN MINUTES of getting on my roof, they found the problem that everyone else had missed. But here's what really sets this company apart. As you can see in the attached picture, the roofing company eventually returned to correct its mistake. Nick actually went out of his way to come back and show the roofers exactly what they were doing wrong. Even their proposed repair would have left openings large enough for rodents to continue entering my home! Think about that for a second. Nick wasn't there to repair my roof. That wasn't his responsibility, and he certainly didn't have to get involved. But he cared enough to make sure the problem was actually fixed instead of allowing another company to do another half-baked job. THAT is what exceptional customer service looks like. It's rare to find a company that genuinely cares about its customers rather than simply collecting a payment and moving on. Nick and his team have earned my trust and loyalty, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Five stars aren't enough for the level of service these guys provide!

After the first visit, termite activity completely disappeared for over a year. As you may know, without tenting your home, you can't ever fully get rid of termites, especially living in the Colonialtown neighborhoods. The large majority of older homes deal with it in some capacity. Our last two visits have just been quick spot treatments because of the protection and treatment we got the first time. We only ever have 1 or 2 small sites of activity a year (no more swarmst though), which is a huge improvement from the last company we used. They came yesterday and all the man did was sprinkle stuff around the tree and bushes. Never looked at the lawn, never went into the side and back yard to look at the lawn. I have cameras all around my house, so know exactly what he did and how long he was here. And for that I am charged $131. I paid $250 for an inspection, and I was very disappointed to find out that the inspection consisted of walking around the exterior of my home. The inside of the house, garage, attic, and lanai were not inspected. After the inspection, I called and spoke with a manager because I was surprised that the inside had not been inspected. I was told that I needed to specifically request that the inside be inspected. That is not something I would have expected to have to request when paying for an inspection. I also had a small ant issue near a water spigot. When I asked the technician if he could take a quick look at it, I was told, "No, I can't look at it. That's not part of the inspection." After 33 years of doing business with this company, I found that response very disappointing. I wasn't asking for extensive additional work--I simply hoped someone would take a moment to look at a small pest issue. My husband and I have recently lost both sets of our parents and have taken on several rental properties. We were actually hoping to simplify things by putting all of our properties under one termite and pest-control company. Unfortunately, after this experience, it will not be Bug-Guard. What disappointed me almost as much as the inspection itself was the way my concerns were handled. The responses I received felt filled with corporate language and upselling rather than genuine customer service.
