When I did see her, she told me it would be a focused area massage on my neck, shoulders, and back. Prior to the appointment, I filled out and signed her online "form" which I indicated (twice) that I did NOT want fire cupping. While there, though, she explained that cupping would help, and it wouldn't take long. However, she left the cups on, and moved them around quite a bit, for the majority of the 90 minutes! I did tell her several times that it was hurting a lot, but she said that it meant "it was working," and continued to say, apologetically, "I know, I'm sorry!" At the end, she told me I had some blistering, so I needed to be careful of those. When I looked in the mirror, I was...HORRIFIED! There were several, red blisters raised 1/2-3/4 of an inch on my shoulder. (The picture speaks for itself.) I was told to put some heat on it, but that they would not hurt and were not infected. I was not given any other instructions how to treat them. I cried all the way home because I was so embarrassed, and I had to tell my husband that I actually paid to have this done to me. We made the choice to spend a lot of money on bandages, ointments, and lotions before figuring out a need for urgent care and/or counsel. It took 2 weeks of TWICE DAILY treatment, while I continued to cry often, as blisters continued to form and open on my back. They were, in fact, painful and VERY itchy!! (One picture is when the worst blisters drained as we were treating them). Please don't tell me this degree of blistering means it was "releasing toxins...or dampness....or whatever." She is not qualified to do this, she left them on for at least 60 minutes, and she did not want to spend the time doing an actual massage. I am not kidding when I say I am terrified to get a massage ever again.

Head, face, and multiple areas missed, therapist stated only areas in pain was his focus even after verbally communicated about missed areas, zero availability of towels needed for additional draping. 90 mins only affords 80 mins of actual treatment time. Front staff offered a printed membership deals w/complimentary massage but was snatched back from manager directly after I verbally stated not receiving 90 mins of treatment. Immediately felt devalued and unwanted as a guest, future client and was told only then about only receiving 80 min treatment for paid 90 min fees/costs. Was asked how my massage experience was but also told they have other therapists without really having any insights or concerns over my investment of large time, huge costs and accommodations of adjusting my time for their scheduling issues, after booking my original time frame. Honestly at their therapist request of not judging the treatment without allowing a few days to really experience the benefits of his work,...plus resummarizing the entire experience on their survey requested, only to receive the very same devalued tone and treatment from Micheal Weiss stating they do not massage face and other sensitive areas leaves a very devalued customer lost. I was completely clear when I asked questions while I booked 90 mins hoping to afford enough time for therapist to accomplish head to toe, front/back treatment plus I am average size and height. Plus I have received many massages that gives the time as booked, plus never avoided head, face, pects, lower back etc. plus therapists that accepted communication from their clients. Honestly for the value, quality of treatment and professional courtesy this location and business policies and management left me so depleted financially and so dishearted.
