I absolutely adore this place! I used to be a dancer back in my younger years and quit about 10 years ago. I have been on the search to find a dance studio that doesn't have 13+ or does a show at the end of the year. Rather, I wanted a place that I could dance, have fun, lose weight, and not feel out of place. Well, this is it! I found Inner Diva Studios in a Groupon and what originally attracted me to it was the pole dancing. Once I looked at the schedule I saw they had tons of dance classes! What I love about this place is the instructors are AMAZING! They don't talk down to you but they build you up and allow you to just have fun and feel sexy (I just don't look in the mirror at myself, tends to dilute the illusion) Anyway, Pole dancing is incredibly hard but so much fun. The Pole Fit class with Isha is phenomenal and she really works with you to make you stronger and a better dancer. Go Go Dance with Amber is also incredibly fun and you WILL come out drenched in sweat. Finally, Hip Hop with Danielle is my absolute favorite! DO IT! You won't feel weird or out of place, no one looks down on you because you might not be the best dancer or the most fit girl either. It is just a fun place to feel sexy and workout. COME! read more

This place is great! I had to leave because I temporarily moved so it's hard for me to go after work when I live an hour away. I can't wait to come back here when I move back to Austin. This is the best place and very unique classes for a great workout. You don't have to be a professional dancer to be here and the teachers are great. I also like that it's just women as I was frustrated going to 24 Hour Fitness to get a workout and there was nothing but men staring at you the whole time. I even noticed that I was working out more here because I wanted to attend all the classes. If you are looking for a different type of workout and want to feel comfortable, come here! read more

I took advantage of the free classes when the studio first opened up. Intro to Pole Dancing was a blast! I really had a lot of fun, even though it was 30 minutes. Saying that, I haven't been back because of the price and schedule. I work evenings so a lot of the classes I want to take are only offered in the evenings. Also, the price is HIGH! I understand that this is a business but I've been to studios in other cities that offer the same types of classes (some have more variety) for MUCH less. At their prices, I can only afford to go bi-monthly. If the classes dropped quite a bit, I'd become a more regular customer. Otherwise, I'll have to enjoy similar workouts in other cities and stick to doing yoga at home. read more

Before I relocated to Austin this past summer, I lived in the DFW area and took pole classes there - I loved the classes and the instructors, but my two major complaints were that the poles were too close together and the classes weren't limited to just the number of poles in the room, so during peak class times (early evenings in particular), you often had to share a pole and didn't get as much practice time. That's not an issue at Inner Diva; the space was actually designed to be a dance studio (as opposed to a space that has been filled with poles and retrofitted to work) and the poles are spaced out to where I am not concerned about kicking someone during class. In addition, classes must be booked ahead of time and classes are limited to the number of poles available, ensuring that you have your own pole for the entire class time. The instructors are very friendly and welcoming and make even the warmup fun! They have a wide array of classes besides pole dancing, which is nice to mix it up all in the same location. read more

This gym is AMAZING! I first got into it through a deal on Groupon and have gone on to get a punch card and also attend Friday Funday classes (fundraiser classes). I've enjoyed several different classes they offer and each and everyone was a blast. The instructors are awesome, as are the ladies taking the class. More experienced students are friendly and it's a really great atmosphere. Don't be surprised if you take a lower level class and someone from a higher level is also in there with you. I actually find it inspiring to see what they've learned and accomplished and often they aren't shy to help you out if you hit a trouble spot. The instructors also do an awesome job of going around and helping out at appropriate times. It doesn't have the feel of a gym like 24 hour or Golds and really is very inviting. I also want to say that the customer service is stellar. As some mentioned, they have an online method of signing up for classes. Unfortunately I had something come up and missed a class and was confused by the online system (the something that came up kept me from figuring it out until it was too late). I very sadly missed my class and emailed the studio and they actually gave me the credit back on my punch card. I didn't even ask in my email for that, I just wanted to explain why I missed because sometimes classes have wait lists and someone could have taken my spot. That seriously was above and beyond, as their policy which is clearly stated in the gym and online. Totally made my week! Although I do have a Gold's membership, I haven't been there in months and would go to Inner Diva anyday over it. I mainly take classes when I do go to Gold's, and Inner Diva blows Gold's classes them out of the water. I also enjoy the all female atmosphere, because we all have probably witnessed the male creepers at the 24 hour or Gold's gyms. read more

I love this studio! I have been a member for the past year and I plan on staying a member until my time in Austin exprires. The instructors are amazing. They have a wide variety of classes to take. My personal favorite classes are the pole classes. And if It wasn't for this studio I would not have discovered what a love and passion I have for pole dancing. It is uncomparable to anything else I have done. It is fun, exciitng and a great workout. The other ladies in class are all friendly and supportive. This place has literally changed my life. My attitude and look out on life has changed and I can always count on this studio and the great women who go there to always uplift me whenever I need it. I am always bragging and encouraging my friends to check this place out and I will most definitely recommnd this place to anybody!!! read more

It started as my friends were taking the class and I followed them. My first class was Body Drop and boy did it kick my butt. I realize that I needed to build my stamina. I couldn't finish the first class. Now I can finish but I am still out of breath. I will work up to being the best I can be. I have also taken Zumba, which is less intense than Body Drop. If you like Latin music, Zumba is definitely the way to go! I have tried Buti Yoga. Dance + Yoga = Awesome! Last, I have tried Fitness Hula Hoop. I am definitely not good at hula hooping but the teacher is amazing! She has such a positive outlook and she will teach you how to hula hoop. Everyone is so upbeat and positive, which makes me feel wonderful! read more

Inner Diva Studios - That pretty explains it! - Dance Studios Near Me - Austin, Texas

I went with some friends for a pole dancing class and had a blast. It was a great workout and we were all sore the next day. Like Ashley, my only complaint is the price. Anything that costs a lot more for my gym membership is a struggle for me to pay. read more

I came for a class over the weekend and found the entire experience to be incredibly delightful. The instructor, Sunny, was very personable and knew many of the other pole students by name. I felt like I got a good introduction, which was exactly what I was going for, since this was my first ever pole class. Afterwards I felt healthy, invigorated, and more pleased with my body than I was when I arrived. Fit & Flexy was a great start to my Saturday morning! I only wish the studio were more centrally located - Inner Diva Studios, could our second date be closer to my place? read more

Really it's 4.5 stars. I love this place! The classes are so much fun, and the staff is amazing! Everyone that goes is so nice to, great place to meet new friends who you constantly see and support. The price is the only reason for the -.5 star. read more

Inner Diva is the best fitness/dance/pole/everything studio in Texas, and I have been to kojillions. The instructors are passionate and radiate sweetness and enthusiasm- the second you walk in you're immersed by this awesome, supportive, sassy, camaraderie they've created. Their classes are excellent. Their instructors are excellent. Their management is excellent. Their floors are excellent. The temperature is excellent. Everything about Inner Diva Studios is excellent, they do not settle for "okay". And for the quality of instructors you get, the prices are a CRAZY bargain. I just went to a benefit at Inner Diva, after which, they donated EVERY SINGLE PENNY to Safe Place, our local women's shelter. That kind of generosity and commitment to our community is a rare jewel. read more

This is not the least expensive exercise place in town, but it is A BLAST. There's a great variety of classes, all of them interesting, fun, and of varying intensities. There are women who go to three, four classes a day! I'm sorry to see Inner Diva closed on Wednesdays and Sundays, and signing up online can be an irritation. But it's worth the effort. The people who come here are a diverse bunch. Different sizes, ages, levels of fitness, and there's no pressure to perform or look good. And everyone is having FUN. And while it's not for me, I love seeing women hanging upside down and twirling on the poles. read more

This is an amazing place! I just moved to Austin and was looking for a dance studio, when I stumbled upon Inner Diva. I love the fact that they have ALL types of classes, from Hip hop to burlesque and Pole classes to hula hoops. All dance and pole levels are welcome, and the instructors are very good at helping someone if they aren't understanding a move or position. The instructors are AMAZING and, again, take the time to help you out and don;t make you feel bad if you're not getting a move. You can tell they love to come to work and have fun. They have such a variety of experience and are always making sure we are having fun in our classes as well. I just love that I don;t feel judged or belittled if I can't get a move or routine. They ladies, (members), that go to Inner Diva are so nice and positive. If you're not sure about something, they are always there to help out and give you some positive feedback. With just moving to Austin, I didn't know a single soul, but the women here are so nice. I have made a couple of friends and we tend to go to the same classes, so it's extra fun to dance and do some pole classes with friends. I saw they started doing co-ed, bring a friend, etc. 1st Friday's of the month, and I dragged my hubby to one. He loved it! Desi, the instructor, was awesome, making sure i did the "girly spins" (as my hubby calls it) and had him do some cool strength holding poses on the pole. There was another guy in the classes as well and he was surprised at how much of a workout it really is. All in all, this place is a great haven for women who don't want to be judged in the gym, is a positive and fun environment and that love a great variety of workout classes. Nobody will talk down to you and everyone is so helpful. I love it!!! COme and check it out! read more

I recently rejoin Inner Divas team. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It is the best present I give to myself for the new year. I was a member for a year when Inner Divas was first opened 3 years ago. I remember I enjoyed my work out and liked almost every one there. All instructors were very good. I quit due to work and travel. This time, I enjoy my work out, old and new friends, old and new instructors even more. The instructors are amazing!!!!! They are beautiful, educated, funny, physically strong (of course) and femininely attractive...that all women wish to be like. The gym is very clean. The cost is not cheap and it worth what you pay for. I think all girls should join this gym. I give Inner Divas Studios five stars. I give the instructors five stars plus. read more

I've been dancing since I was 2 and know the high prices of dance classes. Inner diva's membership is very reasonable. I was paying $85 a month for lifetime fitness and didn't get the benefits I get from inner diva. They offer a variety of classes and I feel the workouts are catered to a woman's body and struggle areas. The instructors are kind and motivating. The classes are a thorough workout and fun at the same time. 5 stars hands down. read more

Great classes, great staff and great workout! I consider myself an intensity seeker. I love to work out, hard! I've taken GoGo dancing and Tush and Abs. Both instructors were great, highly energetic and organized. There was no wasted time in either class. GoGo dancing was not for me because it was not "hard core" enough but it is definitely a good workout, I broke a sweat, it was fun and great work out for all fitness levels. Tush and Abs was incredible, from the start of class to the end, we worked none stop. The class is high impact enough to take as an interval training class but low impact on your joints. The class will push you in the right direction to achieve a toned butt and nice stomach and like all classes if you can not complete all reps stop, take a break and get back into it. My rating of a four is because like other reviews have stated the location and times are not convenient for me. I already have a gym membership and run with a few running groups. Plus work full time and am a full time graduate student, just not enough hours in a day! Whenever I need a break from my current routine Inner Diva is a great spot to break up the monotony. I would definitely recommend to others and will go back. read more

This is how we roll for the bachelorette! I thought I was gonna go in here and CRUSH this, do you hear me? I was all "uh, I got this, I been twerking since I was nine" and then the instructor busts out a heart pounding, ab cringing, most brutal body work out I've had in a while. O M G. My ego got deflated a few notches that day! But that wasn't to say it wasn't fun! It wasn't what I expected, because I thought I was the business, but I wasn't LOL! I will be taking some pole classes leading up to my wedding, bc this was it! I worked muscles I didn't know I had, and maybe that was also from the laughing with my girlfriends...GO WITH GIRLFRIENDS! Please go with them...they make the whole experience. The instructor was fierce, I had to stop gazing in awe a few times. She was a freaking brick-house.....I wish they were here in Dallas, but if your in that area for something try getting there. Great with parties and it was a seamless transaction! read more

Bought one class because I'm trying to find the best place for me to get a membership. Was extremely put off by Shiloh Nicole. She got onto me in front of the whole class for not going deep enough into my stretching?? I'm just not as flexible and another girl had to tell her I was stretching lol. Also promised to help me sign up for a pole class which she never did. She told me to call the next day and that she would be in to help me but the lady picking up calls said she wasn't coming in. The lady also told me she wasn't even signed up to teach the class she told me was happening. Maybe she didn't know her schedule but she really made me feel that she just didn't like me at all for some reason. All around terrible attitude, I'll spend my money somewhere the instructors are welcoming. I felt embarrassed and put down after going to Inner Diva Studios. The girls taking the class however were super sweet and maybe they are there because other instructors are kinder. read more

I had so much fun at the GoGo Cardio dance class today! Amber was a great instructor and was very fun to work with! I will definitely be going back for more! My only complaint is that the classes are pretty pricey- $25 a class or $399 for the smallest (3 month commitment) membership. I will most likely join anyway though because it was the most fun I've had working out in a long time! read more

I love Inner Diva! My 3 friends and I bought the punch card on Groupon for classes and started in the middle of November. Our first class was Buti Yoga. This was my first time doing any kind of group class. I previously had a membership at a gym and was going 5 days a week doing treadmill, stair master, etc. and that got boring and repetitive very quickly. I felt like I was forcing myself to go. We all wanted something fun and new to try. When you walk into Inner Diva you are always greeted with a smile and feel very welcomed. It's very girly and bright inside. They have a locker room and restroom which are always clean. They provide towels and yoga mats if you don't have one, at no extra charge. So far we've tried Buti Yoga, Body Drop, Zumba and Booty Basics. All of the instructors are welcoming and fun and have great attitudes. I have no experience with dance classes or yoga and I never feel like I'm unwelcome or out of place. Some of the classes such as Body Drop have lots of footwork and movement which is great for burning calories but sometimes I get lost or can't keep up. The instructors will tell you don't worry, just keep moving! That's the point, you can't expect to learn it the first time, but they keep a lot of the same choreography so you can eventually get the hang of it. Unlike the gym, I actually look forward to my classes at Inner Diva. I use the online registration for classes which is super easy and convenient. I would recommend Inner Diva to any lady out there that wants exercise that is fun and loves to dance! (even if you aren't necessarily the best at it!) read more

I signed up for a pole class because I was bored of just going to the gym and wanted to do something fun. After one class I wanted to keep coming and keep learning. I have been signing up for as many pole classes as I can fit in my schedule. Each instructor has a unique style that makes each class a different challenge. I have had self cofindence issues that melt away in class because the instructors do an excellent job of encouraging you and there is no judgment. I highly recommend trying a class, even if you've never danced a day in your life. read more

DO NOT SIGN UP ONLINE for the " $99 NO CONTRACT" without reading the fine print!!! They will continue to charge your credit card! They charged my card for two months that i never used or even knew I had paid for. When I emailed Cherie, she said she would only reimburse me for one month and that my oversight was not her problem AND that I should be grateful bc they have a NO REFUND policy.. Thanks, Cherie... for taking my money. Her emails were curt and rude-- basically telling me to kick dirt and it was my problem, not hers. I say, SHAME on you for not doing what is right and shame on me for believing that "NO contract" really meant what it said.. read more

Very disappointing! I live in El Paso and have been doing pole classes for almost 3 years for fitness. My friends and I went booked a bachelorette party here. I was really looking forward to checking out a studio in austin. While the studio was beautiful and the staff was courteous, I was not allowed to do any tricks that required an invert! I knew that the class was going to be a basic beginners one, but I had planned to play around in the side while my friends learned the spins. What is the point of signing a waiver if you won't allow experienced polerinas to play around? read more

I really do love it here! All the instructors are great, and there are several different girls that teach the same classes so you can schedule with an instructor that fits your personality/pace. I almost always take the pole classes, but I also freaking love Chair Tease and BUTI Yoga. Everyone here is so supportive, and really lends to an environment where you can be comfortable (especially when running around nearly naked). I use the punch cards because I don't have a reliable schedule, but they have different card/membership options that can fit anyone's schedule. Pluck up the courage and go, you'll thank yourself :) read more

all the instructors i've encountered so far are awesome and what better place to make yourself feel healthy and sexy all at the same time :) also, i am glad it's a girls only studio. just cuz, it makes it just that much more special :P read more

4.75--I recently waddled off of my couch and into Inner Diva, and have tried most classes. As a 50+ diva, I am lacking flexibility and strength, so really appreciate that instructors are wonderful--challenging, but also offering alternatives if my body won't move in ways it used to:) My favorite classes are hula hooping and Hip Fit; both are workouts, and both are high energy excitement. It is impossible to have a bad time while hooping. I've had classes with Kim, Isha, Danyelle, Alejandra, Monica, and others and each has been positive, professional, and excited about their areas of expertise. I'd give 5 stars, but price can be an issue. Inner Diva is an excellent investment in your health and your entertainment! read more

This place ROCKS! There's a great variety of classes (pole, zumba, burlesque, kickboxing, etc.) and you get a fun and sexy workout that really makes you sweat. Every teacher and class I've tried has been a blast. Plus, the studio has a GREAT atmosphere- great lounge, music playing all the time, clean studios and equipment, full locker room. The membership is the most cost effective, but they also run deals (Groupon, Tippr, etc.) from time to time. I highly recommend checking it out with girlfriends or on your own! read more

I went to the Tuesday night Zumba class and I LOVED it!!! So So much fun and finally a studio that is not HOT! For me this alone would have earned the place five stars honestly. Every body there is so nice and as a more curvy lady I felt welcome and supported as I fumbled through my first class, having not really exercised at all for the past two years. The teacher is fantastic and I cannot say enough good things about this place. I look forward to trying out pole dancing next week. :) read more

I totally agree with Melissa P! DO NOT SIGN UP ONLINE for the " $99 NO CONTRACT". They will continue to charge your credit card! And I DID read the fine print! They charged my card for three months that I never used or even knew I had paid for. When I called, the manager said she would only reimburse me for two months and that my oversight was not her problem AND that I should be grateful because they have a NO REFUND policy. She informed me that they sent an email telling me that they would continue to automatically debit my account. I never delete my emails and I have no record of such an email. I DO have my receipt email that states NO CONTRACT. She was curt and rude on the phone-- basically telling me it was my problem, not hers and I told her I was going to dispute that final charge on my credit card. She then essentially hung up on me. Frankly, they got a really good deal out of me because the one month I did pay for, I went only 4 times and now they are STILL charging me for an extra month (that $198 dollars for 4 mediocre classes!!!!!!!). A business that had ANY integrity, would see that and say, "you know what, you are right, you didn't even barely use our services, I'll be more than happy to refund your money this one time, but please be advised that in the future, I will not be able to do so." I say, SHAME on you for not doing what is right and shame on me for believing that "NO contract" really meant what it said! I would give this business zero stars if possible, based on customer service alone!!!!! read more

I absolutely love Inner Diva Studio. I have been there for almost a year now and am so glad I joined. My cousin and I really enjoyed the Zumba class with Tammy and plan on coming back again! We had lots of fun and the hour passed fast! The one thing I was a little upset about was I found out from one of their brochures that zumba cost $10 a class and we paid for a $16 groupon. We were not informed of this at all at the front only saw it after we left. We would not have minded paying the $10 for zumba and come back for another class with the groupon. So all I can say is pay attention to prices if you use a groupon or yelp deal. Other than that we loved the place! read more

Love this place! It's not for everyone but they work to accommodate pretty much anyone. I'm a bigger girl and I felt completely safe and un-judged during all the classes I've taken. The beginning pole kicked my butt and I couldn't feel my arm for a day, but those are the most fun workouts and the most activity I've had in months. I'm sure if I lived closer and could go more often it would be a regular place, but living in Bastrop, it's not really an option. I got the groupon and it was totally worth it. I wish a place like this was closer. They offer classes for every kind of woman. Sexy classes, dance classes, workout classes, everything. And the place is very nice and totally girly. I would recommend this place to anyone that was looking for a nice, accepting, affordable, flexible place to get some exercise. It's awesome. read more

Honestly I don't like here much. The price is kinda cheaper than others but unless you are really close to this studio otherwise don't choose it. For Pole Beg class time is really hard to catch it and if u live little bit far away don't chose it! Cuz they have a rule said if u are late more than 5mins u can't get into the class. Well I know late is not a good thing. But sometimes you drive like 50mins to get here, late like 6mins they said sorry you can't join the class. That's really don't make me feel ok. 5-6pm always traffic. read more

I am so thrilled Inner Diva has come to North Austin! The owner has done a fabulous job creating a beautiful clean pole studio and hiring fantastic instructors. Each one is so fun and professional.
