I'm more of a dry-wine person, and honestly I probably only enjoy about 5% of the menu, but I will say the prices are great and the menu is huge. There's truly something for everyone, just maybe not for the dry crowd. I do appreciate that they offer snacks for purchase and the wine club is actually a great deal. Service: This is where it slipped for me. I've been to other St. Julian locations and had genuinely great experiences, so I know the bar is higher. Here, the service was just ok. The staff didn't seem very engaged and gave off more "going through the motions" than "happy to have you here." It felt like regulars got the warm treatment, while everyone else was kind of an afterthought, which was a bummer. Ambiance: It's always packed, which says something, but the space itself feels cold and a little warehouse-y. I really wish this location had that cozy, homey winery vibe the others do. The energy is busy but not welcoming, and the location doesn't help much either. If I could give one suggestion to the team, it'd be to soften the space and the experience a bit, warmer lighting, more interaction, something that makes people want to linger instead of just drink and leave. I know this place can be great, it just doesn't quite get there yet.

Waitress asked if I had any allergies, I said no but my friend joining me soon was gluten free. My friend still had to specifically request the gluten free menu when she got there, after looking at the regular menu & not finding any markings of what food was gluten free. It would have been nice if the waitress had just brought it right away. I had the lunch size Gnocchi Carbonara, which was delicious! I did have the suggested wine pairing, which was very good with my food. And what a great idea to offer some lunch sized portions of some of the dishes (ends at 3pm). My friend had the gluten free grilled mahi mahi sandwich & side of Asian slaw, which she enjoyed. They weren't super busy & we sat quite awhile to chat. Really enjoyed it & will definitely go back. Looking forward to trying some of the other menu items!

But I found it odd that the bar didn't have any chairs. Our server (I think his name was Darren, or something like that?) was very good. He explained about the bin numbers next to the entree descriptions and was just generally kind and helpful. Several people ordered salads, and they looked very good. I had the Parmesan crusted chicken from their Life Balance section. I enjoyed it very much. I don't usually like warm tomatoes, but the ones in this dish were really good. Honestly, I'm surprised that this was a lower calorie dish, as it certainly was plentiful, filling and satisfying.

I've been visiting Vine 2 Wine for two years now and plan on returning for many years to come. My…read morefirst wine bottling started as a birthday gift following a recommendation from my boss. Since then I've been back three times to bottle new wine with a fourth bottling scheduled in a few weeks. The process is fun and simple and always begins with store-owner Mark's custom greeting (I won't spoil it here). You or your group will be presented with samples of available varietals and blends along with some crackers to cleanse the pallet between tastings. Keep in mind you are tasting extremely young wine at this point which is just starting to show it's potential body and texture. Following your preferred selection (we like to guess each varietal and keep a running ranking) Mark takes over the heavy lifting and notifies you 8-10 weeks later when it's ready for bottling. If you enjoy wine tasting, bottling is a unique experience unto itself. You may bring your own cleaned bottles from home or purchase new wine bottles if necessary. Standard labels are available for each varietal or you can print your own. Bottling involves pumping wine through an aerator into each 750ml bottle, using a special press to apply the cork, sealing the cork topper over a tea kettle and affixing a label to the cleaned bottle surface. And of course you are sampling your current wine or future purchases the entire time. Your wine must stay vertical for a week after bottling before laying flat. I recommend storing your wine for 3-6 months before opening the first bottle and from that point opening a new bottle every few weeks to taste the difference in the aging process over the following 6-18 months. What started as a gift to myself has grown into a quarterly hobby for a small group of my wine loving friends. We start the tasting process fresh after each bottling and use the downtime to come up with new wine label designs and enjoy previous purchases. I hope your visits to Vine 2 Wine turn out as well as mine!

We each were able to sample 5 items each with our flight and all of them were very tasty. Our personal favorites was the Red Dragon wine, the Blackberry Cider and Witch Hunter. All of the meads/wines/ciders we sampled were delicious and unique in their own way. The service was also fantastic, the waitress that worked with us was extremely helpful and showed interest in what our tastes were so we made better choices catered to what we would enjoy. We also made sure to bring a bottle of the Red Dragon home with us and it was very reasonably priced even before their V-Day discount. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back!

Very nice, small, bright and clean winery. Service from Sarah was great!. There were about 20 brews on the menu board, and we had a groupon for 2 flights, but we upgraded that and decided to "Drink The Board". We got 20 pours, served in 5 pour boards. We were given crackers as a palate cleaner, and spit bucket, but there was really no need for the bucket. All of the wines and meads were very tasty. A few of the experiments made us think a little bit, but we enjoyed talking, sipping our way thru the board, and discussing the flavor profile. I think we will definitly come back and drink the board again, or take home a growler of something good.
