Inner Bliss far exceeds any spa I've ever been to. And that's largely because the owners are wonderful people who are deeply invested in wellness and their clients having a great experience. I called super last minute before our Valentine's day trip to Duluth and they were able to squeeze us in despite their schedule being really full. There were about the 5th place I called and literally no one else could accomodate. We booked a float for Friday and couples massage for Saturday. If you've never had a float (and we hadn't) you absolutely need to add this to your bucket list and get to Inner Bliss. When I tell you that it will be the most incredible experience of your life I'm not kidding. We are parents and life is busy. I've never had an hour of complete silence let alone been able to pee alone. I wondered if that would be weird and uncomfortable but it was F'ing MAGICAL. My body just relaxed and let go in the warm salt water. I nearly fell asleep. My partner also fell in love with it too and because it was Valentine's day we had so much fun floating together. Next time we're going solo for an even deeper experience of quieting our minds. Icing on the cake is that our skin was hydrated and radiating for days. Exactly what we needed to get through these bitter cold winters that leave your skin dry and chapped. I didn't think it could get better but then our couples massages were freaking incredible. It was like they had been working with us for years. My partner and I are completely opposite in how we like our massages. Somehow they knew exactly where we were tight and the perfect amount of pressure. They asked all the right questions prior to starting, even mentioned things I've never heard from other massage therapists. These people know the body. Best massages we've ever had, hands down. Other things they offer that we have not tried yet is hot yoga and a meditation room. There are showers, towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Most importantly everything was extremely clean. Ive got OCD tendencies when it comes to cleanliness but they definitely met my high expectations. We are planning to book trips to Duluth just so we can go back to inner Bliss several times a year. It's completely worth every penny. Self care y'all. Just go and thank me later. read more

I had an excellent massage while on vacation in Duluth. Arjan seems to have a 6th sense in terms of pressure needed to work out those muscular knots. My husband and I attempted to do the float pod together but the salt burned my skin ( I have super sensitive skin and psoriasis) and I had to jump out - but my husband enjoyed it. I spent the day here for a break from my hiking vacation. It was amazing! I started with hot yoga, then did the float. It was my first experience doing it and while it took a bit to get used to, I really enjoyed it. I followed that with the infrared sauna and a fantastic massage. It was the perfect interlude for my day hikes on the SHT. I highly recommend. I visited Duluth for the weekend and wanted a relaxing and therapeutic massage + spa experience. I had a 60min massage and 30min of the sauna afterward and it was just the most wonderful experience! My massage was incredible- probably one of the best I've ever had. The Sauna afterward gave me time of peace, reflection, and time to be still. It was exactly what my body and mind needed. My husband and I did 3 spa treatments at Inner Bliss for our anniversary: couples massage, float pod and infrared sauna. The space is warm & homey & the owners Argen & Tiffany live in an apartment on-site. They are very kind & inviting people who are clearly invested in their business & the wellbeing of their clients. Both are skilled massage therapists, I was impressed with how well they listened to our requests for the type of massages we wanted & combined that with the intuitions for where to focus attention. There are beautifully decorated zen like spaces to sit & have tea or water to rehydrate between services. The sauna was relaxing & a good chance to chat & reconnect for us since we were able to enjoy it together. The float pod had us both in an altered state of deep relaxation. On our walk back to the hotel we debated which part of our experience we enjoyed the most, my husband liked the float the most, while I liked the massage. It was a great experience overall & definitely somewhere we hope to return. The cherry on top was that Argen recommended a local spot for dinner that turned out to be some of the best food we've had in quite some time. My wife chose this for us to have date~adventure. First we did a Hot yoga class which my wife LOVED but was nearly too much for me. Then we had a Couples float pod session which was pretty amazing followed by a couples massage. Both of us had the best massage of our lives there. What a magical, healing place! I did a hot yoga class then spent an hour in the float pod. It was my first experience and I was a bit apprehensive due to my claustrophobia but I found the float tank to be like a warm cocoon, very tranquil and safe. Can't wait to return for another session. As a beginner to all of this, I felt as if I had a guide that cared about me as a person rather than a number. After our float session we were encouraged to decompress in the quarters, and as a person that needs scheduling in my life thought that, I'll do it just to appease recommendations! Honestly, I'm glad I did hang out to decompress! Had I just left, I really don't think I would have been able to handle navigating the pressures of ordinary "tough and tumble " life. The one session really taught me to take times to slow down and appreciate the "accomplishments" at your feet! Definitely a repeat customer and would gladly recommend others to give it a try. I bought Groupons for Inner Bliss that will expire soon. I will never return to this place for many reasons. The first of which, the owner lied to me about the groupons I had purchased. I had bought both a single and a multiple package of float and sauna. I printed the singles to use. He did not take those, told me I had to give them away because "the fine print" would not allow me to use both packages. The thing I found out later is I could have returned the multiple packages if he had not accessed them as I had just bought them two hours ago, and they are refundable for three days. The float tank stank, he does not change the water, he just adds hydrogen peroxide. I did not see another adult the entire time I was there. I did not feel safe going back to confront him about his lies, so I am out the money, as I am not comfortable going back at all. You couldn't pay me to get back into that float tank, and while I would use the sauna, not if he is the only person in the building. No bliss found there, just a huge waste of money. Oh, and he scolded me for having a glass water bottle, he was concerned I might drop it and break it. It was an incredibly unpleasant experience from start to finish. read more
