Just a great spirit that I loved from the get go. She washed my hair and after I sat down, I showed her a picture of Selena Gomez with bangs. I loved her hair style and have always wanted bangs but never got them because I was afraid of a bad haircut. Raquel suggested since it was my first time with bangs, I keep them long in case I end up not liking them. I agreed. You can tell Raquel loves and knows what she's doing! She basically gave me a walk through about everything she was doing to my hair and I felt very at ease with her. I know I wore her out with all the hair I have but in the end, she did a perfect job. She recommend me come in every three months to get a touch up and I definitely plan on it since I loved her and she didn't charge me an arm and a leg. Now that I've been working out and running I developed some serious knots and tightness around my shoulder traps and chest that eventually made it very hard to sleep at night and the stiffness became too much to endure during the day. Went in for a 90 minute massage and although it was slightly painful at some points, I noticed an immediate change in stiffness yesterday and this morning feeling a lot better. I followed it up with a warm epsom salt bath last night as well and plan to stretch and do more cardio for increased blood flow so that I can minimize this from ever happening again.
